  1. jbhotaling. I would talk to Dealer about it, after asking if the interior of the coach was detailed before you got it. If it was, then ask if it was done by a contract firm or in house cleaning crew! Sorry for your troubles. Carl
  2. Good for you! Being able to move when you want to is golden! Great story. Carl
  3. Especially if you have experienced or seen how much damage there is after a separation or blow out ! Then there is the real possibility of being life threatening, to you or others! Carl
  4. Pungoboy64. Have your slides ever started to come out while traveling? If so (even just an inch on any slide) you need them! Welcome to Forum. Carl
  5. Throw out a grill? How can you? I figured you would add a Cajun cooker and a 15 gallon pot for "Deep Fryed" Turkey, Pork, Chicken, Duck, Goose, Gator or Possum! Carl
  6. Yep, were just old fashion, I like to talk to a real, live, person Computer voice don't pick up on what I say, my voice is too deep and I don't do "Girl talk"! Carl
  7. Where, pray tell are you going to mount a spare? Your a mechanic, all that "Stuff" will cover my coach net until I'm well past 90!
  8. Has not hurt the French, Italians or Spaniards any, that I can tell...Hick!
  9. Joe. Can't drink hard liquor. I go thru a six pack of beer every 3 months or so and a bottle of red wine, every other week on average! My model only came with 1 liver... Carl
  10. Your Full Time! Would that change the local channels at my house? Or Just the RV? Pressing power button or pulling plug has always been the same thing and I never pull the plug out! When I get my receiver, I write down the card number. Carl
  11. Jim, You don't want to mess with 101. In January, I would invest in chains and bite the bullet...go over to I-5 and take it to the Barstow cut off from Bakersfield, then stay on I-40 to Needles, take 95S to Blythe and I-10E to Phoenix. As CarlAda said, you have 2 iffy passes on I-5 and (if I remember) one between Spokane and I-5...The Bitteroot range is not an option! Carl
  12. I have the equipment to change the wheel on my Jeep...what would you need for a 22.5 coach tire? Or is that's why there are trailers behind a coach? You can't use the HWH jacks, unless you have a death wish!
  13. When I was Joes age, a long time ago, I did not care if I drove 300 or 1,000 miles in a day! Now, I'm in the 250-350 mile range and have been known to drive 75/100...depends of how I feel. Life should not be a hurry up thing. What in blue blazes are we doing on a five year old post? Carl
  14. I Googled it...High dollar for small spaces. I understand that space is at a premium on the North East Coast, but $130 a night is ridiculous! Where I'm now, I have paved road in all cement slab, full H/U with cable, about 30' of grass between coaches and it's $35 a night...yes it's a resort, with a Deli, Restaurant, Saloon, Spa, Pools and the #4 rated golf resort in the US. Carl
  15. Bill, that's only because your coach is a light weight. I would love to see you manhandle mine on/off... One thing I have learned, in all things "man has got to know his limitations"! Carl
  16. Yea, like Hwy 118, between Alpine, TX and Big Bend National Park, TX. Yesterday, I was doing 3 to 6 and back for over 60 out of 108 miles...Crazy! Worst was wrong way banking on corners, just before a 15% hill... Carl
  17. FIVE, unfortunately, the odds are he did not!
  18. Herman. Sane people think alike! Carl
  19. Byron, as a singer, of course! Any one who don't never had or listened to a radio...I don't know her personally! So, no invite to her ranch. Carl
  20. Gunther. Welcome. If your going to sell the coach and not drive on any more trips, I'd be upfront with any buyer and tell them it needs new tires! How old are your batteries? If you intend to use it for trips, then get new tires before you go! What brand? It's your comfort zone. Carl
  21. Brett, I'm an all electric coach, so if I'm on dash AC, my fridge/freezer (Whrilpool) residential 23 cu. ft runs on inverter. In Summer heat I run all 3 AC's and generator, in less than 70 degrees outside, I don't bother having the power on for fridge or freezer. Rich. 8 AGM 6V for 2 Magnum 2,800 PSW. Carl
  22. Keon. As we have said, it's a learning curve and some love one over another...most miss understandings happen when communicating on the phone! As bm said, wrong rep. Carl
  23. speedway77. Welcome to the Forum. Have you determined yet what make, model and length your going to get? Carl
  24. You can also call FMCA and get Ext. 312, ask for Mike. He's walked me thru 2 times now. He explained that there was a cookie on the program back in August, now no problems, except for yesterday. I had it a half dozen times, then I just backed out and re entered and it worked each time. Carl
