  1. I looked at Hella, not many round single once and mine are clear lenses, not rippled. I may just replace the bulbs. The fog lights are no problem...Autozone has them. Carl
  2. Larry. If I had not had very good care before, I would not be here now! Texas Custom Coach is in Pipe Creek, Texas, Their phone # 1-830-510-4224, They will build you a brand new custom Prevost, do part or total remodeling, take care off any issue you have and the best price in Texas, or any other State I have been in! I have had Class A's gas and DP's since 1967. Please don't use all Capitol letters...it's rude and argumentative! Thank you Carl
  3. I carried Allstate for several years. I think they called it Platinum, it was reasonable and good. I never get less than $1,000 deductible! Didn't want to change insurance, but when I got my present coach and called in the info...the girl that took all that, forgot to enter it into system, so 8 months later, when I went to office, I found out that I did not have anything insured except for my house! Turned out to be the owners niece and Sorry about that, we'll take care of that now! House, Jeep, car and truck went back to USAA, coach went to Progressive...3 years ago! Lesson learned, follow up a couple of day's later! You will be giving the same info again, but the odds of two dinga lings in same office is slim! Carl
  4. BillA. Compared to the 70's and 80's, I totally agree with that...The Volume one of June, 1964 had more interesting stories, and less advertising than we get today. It's 42 informative pages! It's in this coach with me and I still enjoy reading it...got it from my ex father in law, DW and I did not join until 1967. Carl
  5. Why? WD 40 is not a lubricant, it's a protectant against the weather.
  6. I had a GF go off on me last week, in the shop for Texas Custom Coach, no mater how many times I pushed re set, nothing...went outside and looked at my inverters/converters, I have 2 at 2,800 PSW each, both lights was green, then checked my OCM ECM boards...1 blown 15A plug in fuse. The tech told me later that some times you got to disconnect coach from elect post, before the GF will allow you to reset...then connect shore power again. Carl
  7. Do you know where your motor is? If you do, then disconnect your wires, kill some time by cleaning, then reconnect and throw some water on window and turn on wiper. When you turn them off, it should go to normal park position. If not, get a new motor. Carl
  8. Mike told me you would be in Monday...see you then! Carl
  9. Rich. I know, I could not believe what I was seeing...kind of the same prices you see on wheels in da hood.. Mine are individual, round lights, off different diameter, one above the other, except for fog lights mounted on very bottom of front cap in front of Generator...PIAA fog lights are no problem to find, any off road site has them, with or without rock guard. The 06 Jeep headlight is a proper size for my low beam 4 7/8" diameter! The high beam that is the same diameter, but has a totally different bulb, looks like a fish eye, fog lights are 5 1/2" and parking light at very top is 3 1/2", Grrrr! Carl
  10. WD 40 is your friend, twice a year. no lock up! Carl
  11. OMG...I need to win a lottery, that's expensive stuff.
  12. OK. I'l check it out. I found the bulbs on CarParts.com and the whole unit on PIAA web site. Still looking. Carl
  13. The second set might be H?3, hard to read against the morning reflection...I'll probably have to take one of each out, but that presents a whole other issue, workers are here. I was hoping to go buy them and then change out, once I leave here...I'm 40 min. from San Antonio, TX., Wed I'll be in Campground at Lajitas, TX. Nearest parts store is Van Horne or Forth Stockton, TX. 108 miles away! Carl
  14. OK. SAE HR06 H11 HA58 VOL DOT HD, SAE HR04 H53 H55 VO DOT, SAE F00 PIAA 028 (E11) 020215. The first one I need the whole unit, last 2, I need bulbs or All. Carl
  15. I'll have to get back to you, my coach is in the Paint Bay and until someone comes and opens the front garage door, I have about 3' between it and me! Same with rear.
  16. Without going thru American Coach, what info do I need to find replacement of all 4? Also, if I want to upgrade the bulbs (without blinding someone), what type is recommended? I'm out driving my low beam at 40 mph! Carl
  17. Jim. If I still had a DW, she would have sunk my boats! Since my Co-Pilot rear end took out another Class A's front end at 6 State rally in OK. Sep. 11th! At 2mph. Carl
  18. About time! Now we have a French and German choice...I'm still rolling on Michelin's! But there are a lot of members in smaller, lighter, class B and C that can benefit from having 4 choices of tires to run on, also toads! Now, we can move on to bigger and better things...like Amendment # 7. Carl
  19. That's what you do after bankruptcy! Carl
  20. Ron. We thank you for the updated info. Carl
  21. I'm guessing it's home made. Back in 1987, there was not much insulation between engine and bedroom floor and a turbo trows off a lot of heat. So, the owner put on his own deflector. If memory still serves me, the first "cookie cutter coach" to use a DP was AMC, Apollo and Blue Bird in 1983 and it was the 3208. I had the 83' Apollo, until 87 and after driving for the day, you could not go near the back for about 2 hours, like a oven! I remember my DW turning on both AC's with snow on the ground, then going outside to a bush, all 3 coaches was rear bath...only floor plan available for AMC, Apollo and Bird was rear bath, twin bunks, then kitchen and living area, 35 foot ! By 85 the Bird was the only survivor. Carl
  22. Have you checked the switch for a loose wire? Motor same thing, including ground? Could also be one of the gears is sticking or broke! Mine park up against the roof line, but would just stop in middle, turned out to be a frayed ground wire from motor...not had a problem in 2 years now. How old are your blades? I change mine annually and the arm every 2 years. In case it is the motor, any Auto part store has one...take a photo of how it's wired on the old one. Carl
  23. My reply to that got lost in our wonderful new program!
  24. I got a small dash cam that is mounted below the slope of dash. It's powered by a lithium battery and has a USB port so I can down load to computer...got it last week! It's close to Deer rutting season and should one decide to commit suicide by hitting me, I want proof...Now, if they only carried insurance!
  25. Fully agree with Ruidoso and Rockport...don't think I want to go north to Sherman area! That can get cold and nasty with a NW wind.
