  1. Bill, scroll up to my post, 22 hours ago, youl read all I know about Alfa Gold...no need to explain it to me!
  2. gorgeguy. Welcome to the Forum and Happy New Year! When you have a chance, post some photos of your "new to you" rig! Happy trails to you both!
  3. Herman, LOL. Maybe longer, new ones coming in weekly! 😂 Joe, if you ever do, give us a call...we got 50 amp here for free!
  4. We have OH cabinets in our slide outs!
  5. Yes, on the See Ya it is a lock box chassis...the Alfa Gold is on freightliner XC chassis! Last built Alfa was in 2007. When Fleetwood went bankrupt, so did Alfa...owner of Fleetwood died with no will (I'm going to live forever), that meant Calif put a 55% death tax on the estate or I believe it was in excess of $80, million! REV Group, a division of Allied, bought the rights of all Fleetwood products, except for the Fleetwood Mobil home division!
  6. I just hope and pray that the Forum don't go blank! Lots of strange posts are popping up as "new post."
  7. Herman, have noticed the same! What's on the Forum to attack, it's a open book?
  8. Interesting. At a FMCA Rally in Lebanon, Tenn. The Gold had just come out and the owners of Alfa (he was 6'7") was there. His height, was the reason for the height of the slide & coach! I was still 6' 9" and asked for overhead cabinets....He's reply was, that it would not appeal to tall people. Huh??? He was the Founder of Fleetwood, grandson! Family was a little strange. Alfa did build a good, solid coach! If you want to add cabinets, I see no reason why not. Just make sure it has a solid truss or back board and head board to screw into! Most overhead and other cabinets are modular, just like the furniture!
  9. Also, goggle the wineries, some offer RV sites with full HU. No drink & drive necessary!
  10. Bill, what double? I see no double! Mike, next time your in Austin...Look at Oak Forest RV Resort, out by the Rodeo Grounds! We stay there, whenever we have a before 9 am Dr. appointment.
  11. This post is 4 years old since I replied last. Had you started a New Post, more folks will see it. Now, interesting thing about putting your coach info under your signature, if you get another coach and list it, it will show up on all posts you answered, all the way back to when you joined! At the time of this post, I had a 2010 American Tradition 45Y!
  12. Back off Herman. Think back about 3 years ago, you was in the prosses of "Deleting one Post & accidentally got rid of all 3,100 of them!" That was the "oops moment", I was referring to. June 25, 2018 Nothing to take offence off. Hopefully, everything is now the new normal...🙏
  13. Looks like the toads are in a slot in front, by pilot side! Its a staged photo. More Park models than RV's!
  14. Pull thru sites are up to 45 feet long....I'm 47' 4" + tow bar = 50'....Call, I don't fit.🤬
  15. WOW! We sure lost a lot of posts on this tread again! Herman might have had a oops moment again!
  16. Herman, what happened? The whole system crashed, not just the Forum and it still has hiccups....CEO forget to pay the bill? DB, sounds good.
  17. rkammerer. Welcome to the Forum! I'm sure some one who knows more than I will be along later to answer your question! I have 11 cameras that came with my coach, one for inside and 10 for 360 outside, they're on a 24 hour loop when your driving or when security is turned on!
  18. Herman, we know...its been boring of late!
  19. Main page FMCA, not Forum...ask "Big Daddy " Herman.
  20. Mesquite don't like diesel. As for cedar we took them roots and all, then burned it....as for regrowth, see one and take it out, Suspect you have a lot more ac than we do!
  21. Herman. The confusion is that FMCA say's its towable and the Manual say's it is not. I would go with Buick Manual on this one! yellowride, welcome to the Forum and find another ride! 🎅
  22. A lot off good things about Bounder never makes it to Forums...I don't have the heat transfer to my furnace, from heat pump...all I get is cold air until I shut it off and turn on Oasis! So much for a million dollar coach. redtiffin. Welcome to the Forum! 🎅 113/133 will make the ATS go on/off until its fixed.
  23. Bill, your right. A friend did that on his 2007 Silverado 2500, 60+ gal. & a 80 in bed. I had the same truck...we got a good deal on 2 of them! Now he has a 3500 with a 80 in bed (got a bigger 5'er)!
