  1. Any online RV supply store, such as PPL of Houston, TX. or Camping World, also West Marine or large Marine parts store! As Richard said, it has tube's from a central fill port to caps that fit over each (add water cap) each battery...you get rid off original caps!
  2. 8+ years! Sorry, I would not go beyond 7 under any circumstances! At 6 if I see no cracking or spider webs on sidewall, I'll take coach to tire dealer and let them take a tire off and remove same from rim...what you can't see on the outside, you can see on the inside! For all you non metric knowing....100 KM is 60 miles, 4,500 KM is 2,700 miles!
  3. I have AGM's ( 8 ), no worry about water...NAPA! Same with Series 31 start batteries ( 2 ). Good for around 6+ years!
  4. Is that $975 for analysis? You do realize this post is 18 mos old.
  5. Learned that with blue ox, bought one in 2007, 10,000# for my 2500 Duramax 4x4, had a part break and took it in for service and replacement of part at a FMCA winter rally in 2010 cost me $85....Had my 2006, 6,000# Roadmaster serviced in Perry, Ga. in 2018 and it was beat up, they replaced everything but the body, including both cabless, best price ever, zero!!! I gave the tech who spent an hour in the rain $100. I still have it, the blue ox I gave to Herman! Blue Ox spends a lot on advertisement. Joe, Demco spends nothing and its a top 3! Go figure... Same with tires. Michelin spends a ton, yet hardly nothing on BFG and BFG is a better tire, so is Continental, TOYO, Yokohama, Kelly, they all last longer on sidewalls and at least you get more than 5 years, 6-7 has been my avg on the once I have had over a long period of RV ing! I have not had TOYO on any coach, bur I run NITTO by TOYO on all 4x4 that I have owned.
  6. Richard, in 1973 to 1978 GMC was building their own motorhome, chassis and suspension system, GM was way ahead of its time!!! There was over 12,900 units built from 22' to 28', engine was a 455 V8 Olds Rocket, coupled to a 3 speed automatic...its estimated that 8,000+ are still running today and of those 7,000 are registered today internationally! So, yeah, you have a good pedigree! If you won the lottery, you would probably have a garage/workshop that would make Joe, green with envy!
  7. FIVE, That's something most all of us can agree on! Too many times, RV owners swear by what comes from manufacturer, you must replace the same brand as needed. From tires to fridge.
  8. Ray, you can't keep up with high tech, it's old before you can buy it. In Richards case, he's trying, and doing a remarkable job, to keep an old Classic coach running according to the original tech and spec's! Not an easy feat in today's world. Richard, you need to convert the old barn to a indoor workshop & bus garage, ASAP....not getting any younger! Joe, Yup, I too hate it when it don't.
  9. Welcome! Have you tightened down your wire connections, make sure you have clean, bare metal ground connection, a bone dry acid battery? I would take all the batteries, house and chassis to a Auto parts store and have them bench tested (take pictures of all you disconnect). Have you looked at your Transfer Switch (ATS)? Disconnect all power, take off lid and look for any loose or discolored wires, make sure all connections are torqued to spec. also clean and tighten ground wire to ATS. Have you run your Generator, does it even start? What year is your Flair?
  10. rpstewart, Welcome back. If your running a residential refrigerator, you got to have an inverter/converter, unless you shut fridge off when traveling and only use it when plugged in to 110V. 2 Golf Cart batteries is not enough....did you buy the coach new?
  11. Your right about that. My mind took a break when driving home from Tampa and I got an alarm/red light, on my new Allegro Bus, 2011 and I'm on the off ramp in Ocala, Fl. Took about 10 minutes to see that my RF Jack was down, hit the button & jack came up, 3+ minutes it was back down. Fun! Ocala Cummins took me in, you can't just change out the module, new leg assembly got ordered and 5 days later, I was back on road. An hour later I was back on phone with Cummins, oil was everywhere and pressure was almost zero, truck came out....someone had not tightened the drain plug...23 quarts low! Tech service at Lazy Days, suck! 🤬
  12. Herman deleted it and left this one....Just answered by me and Herman, no response back! It was about 6 am & posted 4 hours earlier! Last time he looked at our response was yesterday at 5:08 pm! So he has internet service...now I don't know what to think!
  13. FIVE, your right and sometimes I wonder if they give them out for the mentally impaired.
  14. Herman, you guessed correctly! seanbrown427...You need more than a 100# on each tire in front for safety!
  15. If the OP is still stuck, I can't imagine why! I'm just surprised he never responded to anything!
  16. krdf. My wife and I are on Verizon Jet pack, $110 a month for both of us, wife watches movies every day, she does a lot of streaming and her hobby is to find out where several people come from (Genealogy)! When we travel outside US, no roaming charge! I use an AT&T iphone in the US and a Verizon phone (forgot the name) outside US...we cruise a lot and spend time in Europe, every year! 2020 COVID, just travel US..Bummer!
  17. That's why I got the Gladiator, the bed is big enough...my wrangler is a 2 door! Their e mail support is great, if your buying! Lol...I'll keep the rest in mind, it's being delivered to us at the Super Show in Tampa,FL
  18. This Post is in 2 different places....
  19. You would think the Dealer carried BFG's or would at least look for the 295's!
  20. Dennis, I just ordered a Cricket RX-5, which Jeep do you use? I also bought a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Herman, the Roadmaster is easier to set up and lighter in weight...we sold Linda's Blue Ox for that reason! They both give good service. But, Blue Ox charges for a re build at Rally's, Roadmaster does not.
  21. f430040. LOL, hard to believe, but he's not the first one on this Forum! We have had a few others, they are no longer members.
  22. Yes! Thank you and a Happy Thanksgiving to all, who are deployed and away from Loved ones!
