  1. FIVE. Did you read the part, "I spent 2 weeks at AC Factory"...? Rodger, I did not suggest that he get an attorney in Florida, nor that he takes them to court, nor that he threatens to sue ! When it comes to lawsuits, you don't say it up front...there are many other ways to get someone's attention, and it's free! Think out off the box...
  2. Florida has Lemon Law, strict...go back to Lazydays and insist that they fix it or return your $$$. I know of more than one who has done it and they got the $$$ back! LD went chapter 11 in 2010, now they have 3 more dealerships and they don't want to loose them over 1 coach!
  3. Thank you. That's informative! Individually we can't fix all things on this Forum, but collectively we can and over the years. been able to find an answer to most problems that are a DIY item. We don't always hear back from the OP! Sad, but a lot off folks forget because their back on the road...that's life and that's generally when we go off on another tangent, as in joke around. FMCA members tend to let us know if the item got fixed. Just Forum members, not so much. Carl
  4. If you have an Attorney, tell him...if you don't, get one! Which factory did you go to, and who was still there? Allied or EVR?
  5. Joe, do you have both air level and jack, independent off each other? When I level by air, I loose only the amount that is need for front/rear and corner/corner, the main pump comes on about every 24 hours, to maintain level. When I choose to use the Jacks, all air goes at one time (purge system). The air supply, then comes on after Jacks have been retracted and I start engine...slides will not operate with engine running.
  6. With your extensive knowledge of everything RV and being a licensed Inspector. Why would you even want an Extended Warranty?
  7. Clean your jack before you retract !
  8. Joe and Bill. Glad your cool, I should be there but I have a Oral post implant appointment the 18th...there fore I'm in a oven at 7K feet ! Rich. Generally it's cooler in thin air!
  9. Bill, Erniee, I'm surprised...you with a couple of openings? What happen, they die?

Joe, Yes I do. One for each....also I go along with Walt, it's getting warmer in coach...will be fun going across half of Texas Wed. and Thur.! 105+ Carl
  12. Hi, FIVE. Not yet. I'll be at TCC Thursday am for a new front windshield, I'll ask them to take a look at it. There are 2 OP's on this, the other is in Electrical...different suggestions there and the one I'm leaning towards is the deterioration of the tape at the register or registers! I'm currently in Ruidoso, NM...there is nothing here, in regards to RV's! Happy you got your "Magnum" fixed ! Carl
  13. There is one, they are a INTO chapter, that means anyone can join regardless of where they live. Try Ken and Diane Peoples at ourgoldenyears @yahoo.com Diane was the National Director in 2015. Don't know about now as they left my group in 16'....they live in N. Calif. Carl
  14. Is there a Cummins near you? They are the Authorized dealer for HWH in the US. Who replaced it? Carl

Walt. And just how do you do that? Pull the AC units? Carl
  16. As Bill said. That witch the manufacturer builds is covered for X amount of time and/or mileage, just like a car. All other components are also covered for X amount of time and each one has their own Warranty ! I have always put the amount of $$$ in a separate account, just like Bill does...the account now is big enough to buy a new coach. 40+ years ! When you see the cost off fixing or replacing a component, as advertised by the various extended Warranty Co's. out there....it is at a highly inflated cost by them, to get you the consumer, to buy their product ! Kind of like pre purchasing a $20, 000 casket to be cremated in ! Insurance rates are based upon, where you are licensed, (in some cases not) and/or keep the RV. Also, amount off coverage...most folks are way over covered in car and RV, unless they think they will hit a Ferrari or Bentley! Carl
  17. First I would do as Huffy Puff suggested. It may just need to be reset.
  18. ObedB. They make roller shades in your size. Spring tension, just like the ones in houses. Go check out Home Depot or Lowe. On internet try any of the re model RV sites. Herman. I agree. The Aluminum wrap is good on single pane. Not double. Then I don't know where Nighthawk lives or travels! Double in MI or WI and most of NE, should be no problem....The deep south or Texas...forget it ! Carl
  19. Herman, re read your bible quote.... My house fuses are in outside compartment by driver. Coach fuses are in a outside compartment on passenger side in front off drive axel. Circuit Breakers are in a box in bathroom and all connectors and in line fuses for window shades and lights are under bed, under a heavy cover. do the designers go to a special "How to be Waco" school? greenbarn1. Don't know where you live, but take outside cover off and check for critters and flying things that make nests! In Texas we have mud dabbers and they can sure mess things up! Carl
  20. Bill. 61 degrees? Your not in Texas anymore ! I think that's cooler than Alaska...I'm looking at 91 in Ruidoso, NM at 7,000'.
  21. And if it's a Fleetwood product..your FIN #
  22. If it entails, tearing the celling apart...trade in comes to mind ! When it comes to vents, I liked the snap inns that I had on the Allegro Bus! Mine are screw in now...still paint on them, never been off...I don't even like that part, like how do you clean the filters? Ugh. Carl

Joe. Loose or stripped screws might be your problem... I'll drop some off...Ops. where not suppose to have any. I forgot ! Wonder why there are cook books? Carl
  24. Like the rest off you, I was in MA. annually, DW was from Boston area. We parked RV in a CG out on the Cape and took toad to Quincy and taxi. Other times, the ferry and taxi. As has been said, stay on Freeways or major roads and all is good. Never been in W. Springfield. Have goggled it and now feel it will be good as long as I follow FMCA instructions. As always patience is paramount in NE ! Carl
