  1. I get them by the qt. at Wall Mart, Grocery Store, Wallgreens...You don't need 2.5 gallons, empty half of your tank and pour in 2 qts. Carl
  2. If your in Texas, call a plumber...they also do gas! Don't know about other States ! Carl
  3. Joe. Hydrogen Peroxide 3%. I keep a spray bottle of it also, it takes the burn and prevents blistering from Fire Ant bites. Also use it for mouth wash on occasion. I'll put a half cup in to my cloths washer with or without clothing. Many uses, spray on your windshield for bug (especially Love Bugs & small sugar bees) removal. Carl
  4. Welcome back ! Sometimes I wonder, where is Bill when he really is needed? Carl
  5. Happy DW is paramount. I hated it, when she brought out the broom and didn't fly away! Carl
  6. I have had invisi brake and brake master for years, then met the owner in a Camp ground on the way to Perry, GA. FMCA rally this past March. I had my invisi removed and M&G installed...best system I have had ! two lines to hook up, electric and air...easy. Carl
  7. Byron. Great timing. It's not cold between PA. and CO ! Glad it worked out and you didn't have to take an AC Class ! Carl
  8. I have been using HP 3% now for about 6 months, in January I loaded a bottle into my water line before hooking up to faucet, then I did the same into my fresh water tank, it was a quarter full at the time. I then opened all my inside faucets for about 5 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes and switch off pump, open campground faucet for 5 minutes, drain gray tank, and no odor. Before leaving campground, I ran fresh tank as above, then filled it up. Did the faucet water line here and will do F tank again before leaving. Talk about "Slime", unreal what came thru in January ! 2 weeks ago, nothing! HP 3% is cheap and everybody carries it ! Carl
  9. Nope ! Sounds like a nice trip. Guess you won't be at FMCA, how about Shawnee? Carl
  10. There are times that I wish, I had 3 or 4 AC units on roof with no plenum and duct work ! Yes, the second celling looks real nice, but it can be a royal pain ! I now have bits and pieces of aluminum coming out of all my vents...I know what that entails...$$$. Carl
  11. Ray. Welcome back ! Have you sold/or decided to keep your RV? How's Hana doing? What is a "Power Probe" ? Carl
  12. Bill. That should be nice and cool.. I'm still in Ruidoso, and we have a heat wave, 90's! No end in sight and Roswell, NM broke a record yesterday at 109 ! Where are you headed? Carl
  13. My opinion, for what it's worth, is that it all depends upon where you camp. If your primarily in the woods, your probably better off with a portable. Wide open country, it makes no difference if it's fixed on roof or portable. DISH or DIRECTV is a matter of personal opinion. I have a DISH on my roof, that I have not used in 3 years and I don't miss it, so it will live there until I change to another coach or it falls off... I have found that I get excellent coverage of local channels via my bat wing, when I'm not on cable. Most Parks that I stay in have more channels than I need on cable, no monthly fee is a plus ! Most of my camping is in the mountains, anywhere USA and sometimes Canada...lots off trees and mostly peaks all around. So, if I get anything it will be portable and self seeking. I like DIRECTV and have it at home ! Actually my biggest concern is Wii-Fii, With the phone and lap top, I can get all the weather and news that I need, also my International family can reach me/me them ! Carl
  14. Brett. OP says it only happens at night....Other than that I agree with you. I run it on high fan not auto in Summer anywhere East of Post, Texas or San Antonio ! Carl
  15. The Discovery should have the same set up as the WA. Have you called Fleetwood Tech? If not, you'll need your Vin# and FIN# ! Have you looked at one of the other units to see if it has a drain line? Carl
  16. Rodger. He is new to Motor Homes...not life ! If he went by your idea, he would no longer be young and he would like to use his RV ASAP. Since all you have is a MB car, this is no time for another rant ! Chill Carl
  17. Can't speak for that, but Lucas Slick Mist does ! I buy one spray can per year and it lasts for both Coach 45' and Toad. $9 at Wall Mart. Carl
  18. Further down the page on towing, you will run across "Cherokees"...anything but KISS... Carl
  19. What make and year coach do you have? is the AC's ducted? In other words, I have 26 lovers inside my coach on celling...like inside a house. Some older model coaches did not have a sub celling and you could see the bottom of each unit inside coach. Carl
  20. Bill. There are some words we can't use on Forum...starting with "A..", so ObedB substituted "Guy"...LOL. TCC will call me back on my Windshield...they do them, not sure if I needed to give more info over and above what's on file ! He said an hour, an hour and 10 minutes ago...it's someone's DW looking it up, so I expect a call back by noon...maybe! I remember having the non-adhesive on my split windshields...long time ago ! Kay, my brain is old... Carl
  21. Nice ! Thank you for serving and writhing that blank check... Carl
  22. Great Herman. Then I can paint a little red mushroom on it... Carl
  23. Brett. That switch always seem to be in the wrong place. I hit mine sometimes when carrying something into coach, my dog would hit it going out. I had one next to the Co-Pilot seat on the Allegro Bus and when some one sat there, they would hit it instead of Pass shade. Is there a place it can be moved too, that you know about? Carl
  24. Oh Well. Thanks, you basically told me what I already knew...was hoping there was something I didn't know ! I'll call Texas Custom Coach tomorrow and hope they can take me when I come off this HOT (never had it this hot here) Mountain 90 for the next week ! $2,600 + tax. ObedB. My safety and Lic. is now on same sticker and due in Jan. 17'. Texas will let you drive on the receipt...that saves me $822 for another. Carl
