    Freeze Plugs

Hi, ya'all ! Interesting conversation, based on saving a few bucks a year.. To me, it's like, I can get 500' more per gallon at 60mph, compared to 61mph! I remember back a few years ago, on this Forum, when folks where up in arms about Big Rig owners, who in their opinion was wasting fuel and destroying our environment, because we was doing more than 57mph ! Carl
  2. Agree. Also, if you are involved in an accident, your fault or not, the insurance company could refuse to pay, if your not in compliance! That also has to do with towing outside off your vehicle tow rating.
  3. They all work, but I prefer 285. Just a little less traffic and better road. Last time on 285W was after Perry FMCA rally in March. I-75 downtown is no picnic! Carl
  4. Never ending on a house on wheels ! I hate it when my list is all checked off...you know something else will go down.
  5. CarlAda. I have the book $29.99 at CW. Not worth the paper it's printed on ! My 2 cents worth. Joe, send me a e mail. Carl

    Uniroyal Tires

What brand do you have on coach now? Are you happy with the way the coach rides on your current tires? Carl
  7. Yea, I don't crawl well...the Lord gave me two legs. Come to think about it, the legs are going out too!
  8. I think they are 09' and 11'... 09's should be replaced. Herman. Where are you going?
  9. Herman. In August we, FMCA, will probably also be with Continental also. It's on the docket for Governance...
  10. Rodger, don't assume what my reaction might be...actually what you just wrote is right on ! I would not buy a used coach, no matter the make, that has gone swimming ! As the OP said, "MOLD". The future ramification off that is not pretty and basically makes it unlivable!
  11. I have been to a lot of RV parks in Idaho and never had that problem, same for Ohio ! Now in La. is other stories, similar to yours. Just wondering, that's all. Just for laughs and giggles, what kind of coach you got? Northern Idaho has some nice Big Rig Resorts @ $ 80+ per night. Same with Oregon, WA and Canada...I forgot Montana.
  12. You on your Coffee Break hour? Keep DW happy!!!!
  13. ShortBus, Just out off curiosity, why Class A only? I know several folks in Class C and Fifth wheels that start at $500K+. I have always considered myself Oil Field and RV Trash ! Carl

    Freeze Plugs

Your right, Joe. That's a big bite for something that could have been prevented ! I buy my coolant from Cummins, yea it cost more that Wall Mart, but if something comes down the pike and bites me, and it's caused by coolant...it's their dime! Same reason I use Onan oil and parts.
  15. Well, surprise, surprise ! I always thought frogs liked water!?
  16. Wayne. I'm quite sure, that there are more than just me, that feel sorry for your predicament... Carl
  17. Look under RV Resort. Ruidoso Motor Coach Resort is an example....I'm not there, I'm in Circle B. The word "snob" is not in my vocabulary !
  18. Joe, mine are metal and metal rollers top and bottom. The latch was, plastic and broke off, TCC replace it with a metal latch, like the one on ebay! Carl
  19. My 2 cents worth, since I have a AC myself. At the time that OP purchased his Dream, AC was going thru a transitional period. EVR had just acquired AC from Allied and they decided to resurrect the Dream into their line up, by dropping Tradition and Heritage. From what I have been able to gather, EVR is a 2 Billion Dollar a year Corporation and this is their first time, High End Coach adventure! That means that whoever is in charge, of the new coach division, is going thru a learning curve. I'm not trying to excuse their actions to the consumer, just make some sense of it. Bottom line, is that now the problems are in EVR's court and I have no clue as to who to contact. Everyone that I knew, I can't track down ! I will not buy or recommend AC again, but that has nothing to do with OP's problem, just my own reasons ! I'll suggest you go with Herman and Joe's suggestion.
  20. No. I like many Texans go to Ruidoso to escape the humidity and heat. Did not work well this year ! Normally I come here first, then continue to W. Colorado, in the San Juan Mountains. Don't have the time this year!
  21. Joe. The MSRP on a 16' Dream start at $440K to $531K. Don't know if OP's is a 42' or 45'. Carl
  22. FIVE. I tapped on his profile. Picture of him and his wife along with the coach and trailer. He's responded to OP's before. I suspect he's weighing his options.
  23. Instead of a 10hp gas, get an electric...even with battery, it's a lot lighter! 55fp of thrust is plenty big for your needs...
