  1. I agree. I got mine in 13'....spent about $30K in extras and fix it over the past 3 years! Have had many new ones and used ones over the past 48 years and used is the way to go! Off course, even a used coach is no guarantee that it's not a lemon, but if it is you take a much smaller loss by getting another coach. So now, I let the original owner take the first big loss. Coach, or cars!
  2. What ever keeps you happier, works for me ! Keep it up...
  3. What ever else you do, stay far away from Camping World Katy or anywhere else! I have taken mine to Cummins, Houston in the past, but last time I went to Motorhomes of Texas, Google them, great Service and the folks there know their business, fair pricing. Carl
  4. Well, on my Porsche, I ran Perrelis. My 2500 Chevy 4x4 Duramax, I have BF Goodrich On/off and love them. On Jeep I had Big O tires, yes China, mudders for 46,000 miles and changed to NITTO's because they have low road noise...twice the price. Unfortunately none of them apply to 56,000 pounds (me loaded)! I can get cheaper ones, but I like the ride of the 315 80 22.5 front and 295 rear, DOT is July 14 front and August 14 rear...got them at Superior Tire in OR., no sales tax !
  5. If you hear a chirping sound in vent pipe, the chicks are being forced to learn too fly ! Rodger. I got to admit that your explanation of this event is...priceless! Shalom. You have made this day far from the average uneventful day on the Forum ! While you are waiting or getting help, use some Gorilla glue and tape. That will hold it for a while. Do you still have a useful, other than damage to top of tank, tank ? Meaning knife switch and ability to connect 3" drain line. WOW !
  6. Monaco is owned by EVR now, main factory is still in Decatur, Indiana. They also have a service center in Coburn, Oregon and Alvarado, Texas.
  7. Well, that's something I have never heard off... Where are you at? Get on Google and look for a large Salvage Yard, they may have one. You also need to clean up coach... before it dries. Just out of curiosity, how did it build up that much pressure? You didn't add Nitrogen did you? Sorry, can't help it !
  8. ajshepherd, Welcome to the Forum. Very nice looking ride ! CC did build a top of the line product...enjoy it.
  9. Please keep us advised of the outcome. Good Luck
  10. marshall. Welcome to the Forum. I agree. You also get a six sense, in knowing where your coach and toad is. I generally wait until the other vehicle is in top of mirror, also use the back up camera to see where toad is ! If you noticed, this post died in July of 2015 !
  11. Now, back to normal, Herman, your about 98% right. There really is cars out there that even Ramco can't help ! If I had one off them, I would put it on a car hauler,,,why wear out only 50% off your tires! Bill.
  12. Dam it, every time I forget to move my cursor, I get these Quote things!
  13. Kay. There is a vacuum hose that connects to back of toilet about half way down from seat. Could be it's not connected. I wanted to know the Series number, because that is the only way to track down an 07 or 08. Depending on when Fleetwood bought it...actually he would be advised at this point to call Fleetwood Tech Dept.
  14. My Converter was like Kay, 100A and it was changed to 75A. It was located under the sink and Breaker Box above the sink in a cabinet. If your fridge only works on 110V, then you need an Inverter. Converters=AC to DC...Inverters=DC to AC. Still confused!
  15. That's very informative! I like the fact that it's on a production line and not everyone is doing everything, you have different people that are really good in the one or two things they do. Junk? I don't think so. I have a lot of people I know in the Escapees that keep buying Jayco over and over again. They love them ! They also like the customer service, Then again, what will happen in the future, now that they are owned by Thor, only time will tell !
  16. Make sure all grounds are good. In my 97' Allegro, I only had a converter, I changed it out twice in 4 years. I forgot about that, sorry!
  17. I don't think there is any damage. They're built like a mobil home. Fully loaded with bedding, sheets, towels, dishes etc. Some are 2 door, 2 bedroom with bunks and others are one door, one bedroom....they are nice and well built.
  18. OK. I'm awake. What is the series number of Toilet and is it a SeaLand Dometic ? Also, do you have an electrical wall switch ? You could have a blown fuse. Carl
  19. Bill. They all age out, before they wear out ! Bottom line for me, has to do with safety and ride...I got my last batch (8) Michelins in Oregon...no sales tax ! No, they are not cheap and it comes out to about $1,000 per year for the 7 years I keep them...There are a lot of tire brands out there, that probably are just as good. I'm not going to be the test coach to find out. $$$ ! Like most things in life, you generally get what you pay for.
  20. Ref. compartment under toilet? Confused...you should have black tank under toilet...can you see the plumbing system thru the bottom of toilet when the flapper is open? You may need a flashlight. I got to get a second cup of coffee..
  21. Bill. You be correct ! Too my knowledge, it's been catch 22 since Hurricane Andrews in 92'...
  22. batsome, is this a bath and a half unit? I also hope you did not pay the bill ! Who put the seal in upside down?
  23. A 40A CB on a 12V ? I must be missing something !
  24. Any where along the Gulf of Mexico shoreline and the Southern Atlantic shore, you will see lots of parked, white, rectangular trailers, that you can't buy! They are stock pilled FEMA trailers and will never be used again. Sad part is that most off them was never used ! We had thousands of brand new trailers brought into Harris, Chambers and Galveston County in the aftermath of Hurricane IKE...even though there was thousands that had never been used in the aftermath of Hurricane Katharina in Louisiana. Does are still sitting in big lots in and around Hammond, LA. I have been inside several and they all have one thing in common: The stench of Formaldehyde ! Carl
  25. Joe, your right about that. I know one that can make a smiley face cringe at any given time !
