  1. Kay. If nothing is glued, what's to prevent window & gasket from just falling out when you stop or hit a bump? Carl
  2. The colors was just starting to show last week in the Asheville area, but have yet to come in Roanoke Rapids! Don't expect any around Lake Marion, SC next week! Carl
  3. Wayne. A long, long time ago I had DISH at the house and it worked fine. Then DISH got into a fight with the local channels in Houston. I changed to DIRECTV and found it to be easier for me (perhaps not you) to use....before HD. On my coach I had a DISH TV, Windguard SK 1000 installed in Seffner, FL. I called and activated my DISH, that's when the BS started. Never could get it thru the brain of the billing people that I lived in Texas and the Sat. receiver was mounted on a RV & not a house in FL! Every time I wanted to watch TV at a location, I had to make a call to some twit in an other part of the world and explain what a RV was! Also, That part about, "Call us and you will not be charged for the time your RV is in storage". Is a joke! $84 per month period! I have DIRECTV at both houses. I have no wish to run around a campground with a portable anything to watch TV. Besides, most parks have cable, some more channels than others, even in the piney woods! I have had all the dome's I ever want...they get wet from dew or rain and you just lost the game! I want to push a button for TV and one for Sat. and be done with it! Carl
  4. Wayne. Just trying not to bite the $2,400 bullet. Removing my crank up DISH & replacing with DIRECT TV dish! Carl
  5. Rib, has a good point. File in Small Claims Court for all expenses, Court fees and Atty. fee (yes, I would have my atty present and have him send the news to CW)! Most state SC is $5000 or less! Carl
  6. Jack. Cold, snow & ice comes to mind. Most secondary roads and less traveled. I'm not sure if Yellowstone is open in April. I would check with each states tourist info center. Also, Google Yellowstone to see if all off park or just part is open. Also size restrictions if any! Jackson, Polson and the lake is pretty much going to be white and cold....wear socks! Carl
  7. Where are you? Either the Windshield needs to be reshaped to fit coach or they put the wrong adhesive on. RV's move, therefore everything needs to flex with the coach. Carl
  8. I tow a Jeep Wrangler Sport, very modified and have the Invisibrake system, only because it was a carry over from a Colorado 4x4 V8, also very modified. Had I known about the M&G, I would be using it now! I may change next year, or buy a stacker trailer to fit the Jeep & a car to tool around in...the pavement is not good for my NITTO tires! Carl
  9. I have no clue how reverse became (RV'ers)! There seems to be gremlins out there!!!
  10. J. How does a light cord come undone? It's hard enough to remove from coach or toad by hand... Carl
  11. Where are you at now? After you have talked to Monaco, call Marcus Lemonis and tell him verbally or by mail, what happened. I would not have CW do anything more with AC,,,take it to Monaco in Oregon or a Monaco Dealer or a Cummins Coach Care shop. There is at least a dozen post on here, in reference to bad service and expensive mistakes being done at CW. Carl
  12. Welcome to the Forum. Is it original tires? If not, when was new ones put on? If original, then you need 6 new tires! Are you buying this from Camping World? If so, don't take their word for anything! Look inside for any kind of stain on walls or celling, could be a leak. Don't know if there is a FOX report on Class C's. but, if possible find out if it has been in an accident, or flood zone. Take it for a test drive, with generator on and roof AC on then heat on if you can...run Freeway and secondary roads. If possible get a second opinion from another mechanic, even if you must pay for one, or friend who knows RV's! The brand was good, Kodiak is good! Carl
  13. Wayne. "If any dome can receive Dish HD". Then the RV'ers, should be the same? With a Direct TV receiver, I should be able to receive 1 Satellite on my DISH DOME, right?! Carl
  14. Same problem again! Six, ten and fifteen seconds, did not work! I hate to think it might be the board or controller... I can survive without a lot off things! But.... Carl
  15. Tom. I'm clueless! First "Five" has problems. I answered your post yesterday...it's gone! I'm gone till it's fixed! Carl
  16. I have a Roadmaster. At the Reunion in Redmond, OR. they came over and lubed mine, while I was at a meeting. They left a card with info on what they did. When I towed my CC 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy Duramax, I used a 10,000 pound Blue Ox! For a Jeep, I felt it was overkill, besides it was heavy! So, I went back to Roadmaster. I gave the Blue Ox too Herman last March. They are in competition, so it makes good business sense, to give free service at Rallies....happened in AZ. at a Good Sam rally in 12' Also! Carl
  17. Bert. Thank you. I will remember to do that before checking fuse! My fuse and controller is under the drawer, below my dishwasher, a pain to get too! Carl
  18. WOW! That's a horror story! By all means, get in touch with Marcus & get yourself an Atty. There is no good reason for you to live in fear, nor for you to pay for anything! I hope that your not still using CW to fix your coach in the driveway off your home! If you are, then shame on you! I use Cummins Coach Care for most mechanical things. I call Spartan if I have a chassis issue and they tell me who to take the coach too! If I can't get to factory, then I'll let them make the appointment for me at a local dealer...that eliminates the 3 to 5 week wait, while the dealer takes care of their "customers first". Like Tom. I never leave the coach alone and pick up later, even when I'm near home. I have learned too give them a key, not the whole key chain and not the fob. In the afternoon, I get the 1 key back until the morning! Not paranoid, just see no reason to tempt someone. Carl
  19. OK. Clueless! It's a swing out and about 30" long. When I left Asheville, NC it worked fine...then I got to Roanoke Rapids, NC and no workee! The key makes a clunk sound when I lock it, no sound to open and does not turn 90 degrees when I try to open! On key fob, no sound on lock or open. The battery on both fobs are good, they will open and lock all other compartments and door! I only lock everything when I leave coach...if I use fob to lock front door, it automatically locks all outside compartments! I have tried with coach level on HWH, Air and just on ground....nothing! On my Winnebago Tour and Allegro Bus, there was a reset switch in Co-Pilot side of coach....have not found one! At least I got my Toilet to work....That was a big relief! Carl
  20. Problem solved. I used San I Flush for 15 minutes & put in 1/4 tank of water, then pulled knife switch! Hooray, I can flush! Now, I also know why my tank always was clear, the black/gray switch is reversed!!! Carl
  21. Bill. You'd think anyone named "dieseldrinker", would have been a F not an A member for 43 years! " All the lonely people"! Carl
  22. Since you got the "Boss". You forgot "On the road again" - Willy Nelson! Also, "Keep on Trucking". Don't remember who did it. Carl
  23. Come daylight, I'll let you know! Thank the Lord, I always switch over to pump, even when tank is empty, so I have a 100 gal. I can use!
  24. Herman. Having had 3 different units, in 3 DP's. I like the one I have now the best, it's a Whirlpool, 2 door! The others where Amana and GE, 3 door. Women go crazy over the 3 door! Lots of volume in fridge for pot luck items. I had trouble with the plastic tabs on top breaking off and their hard to find. Tabs on mine is metal. I have no problem putting a 2 gallon pot off stew in it. You have a DW, she will tell you what to get ! Likely you will have to modify your space a lot. LOL. Hey! She happy, you happy! Carl
