  1. Glad it took you 5 years too come to a decision...Now, please enlighten me on what has not gone up in cost, over the past 5 years of your membership?
  2. We now have camel jockeys/young punks/ NAFTA drivers from Mexico...ZERO manners! They also like to cut back in with a foot to spare...I try to anticipate it. 😡
  3. If you replaced one with a Samsung Residential...your now in the same boat, no parts & nobody will touch it. Reason is that Samsung was bought by a Chinese company!
  4. Wayne, yes it's generally 10 degrees difference between Burnet Ranch and the camp- house (we have to call it something). Joe, you could stay in Camp house or bring coach, we have 3 full HU. 😁 Right now, I don't think there is anyplace in Texas that feels over 40! We are on Galveston, Island and it's COLD!!! A friend in Corpus said he had feel like 31, we got 28 and Burnet is at 21. I listed my house again yesterday, effective Friday. We head for Burnet this morning...Brrrr!
  5. I have it on my steering wheel and use it all the time for OTR's when they are safe to come in...use the running/clearance lights as a thank you, when I can come back in lane! Had the same on my Allegro Bus. Power glide and current Spartan K2.
  6. Thank you Joe, for making me realize that I have to put in more disclaimers in the future...Like chassis that are no longer used on any type of coach, also I will discard the position of the diesel engine...Super C is in front, Class A FRED is in front, etc!
  7. Ray, mine is a on/off in my control panel, below my main awning switch. Bill, when I turn on my ignition all night blinds will come up, but my day shades will not. Was told by Allied that a few people drive with the day shade in front down, they was concerned that an idiot would try it with night shade down!
  8. We all know that feeling! 6 month's or a year later, you'll go, oh that's what that switch is for!!!
  9. CC. To answer your question. I have never owned a Class C gas or diesel. However, I also have not heard anything bad about any Renegade Model. Some on this Forum, keeps harping about "Truck chassis & rides like a truck"! To my knowledge, all Motor homes, gas & diesel ride on a truck chassis! Only exception would be a Bus conversion! If the coach, A or C is a diesel, then they have a Air suspension with shocks and or springs! Go and test drive a Super C and a class A gas and a class A diesel...Only you can determine what you like...then go from there! Rule of thumb on a new coach, take 30% minimum off sticker price and that's what you should pay! Your coach or trailer, will loss 30/40% of value as soon as you leave dealership!
  10. Moving day is no picnic! One small item at a time, since nothing fit's in the same place as previous coach! You got a double the capacity, to deal with, both inside and in bay's!😁
  11. Kay is that the bean that's ingested, pooped out and Stupid brews it? I heard about $100+ cup of Joe!
  12. I would call the campground or Park office!
  13. Welcome! I had the 2007 Silverado 2500, 4x4, Duramax engine/Allison & manual said the same! I used it as a toad.
  14. Bill, Kay. Lone Star will be at Coffee Creek RV Park, Feb 12-17th! Thankfully, we will have the 27th to March 24, off.
  15. Welcome! Since you have a truck, your biggest challenge will be in backing in a 5'er (fifth wheel)..that's a big learning curve. A Super C will drive and handle much like your truck, even backing in! Would like to know a few things. You said that the bigger truck would be traded in for a smaller one after the trip...what about the trailer? Would you do the same with your Super C? Is your current truck/car tow able? You said 5, is that 3 kids? What age? If kids are involved, IMHO I would be looking at a Class A with bunk beds! Carl
  16. Bill, now you can join AIM. They got a bash before they enter Tucson Rally together. 😎

    Tire age

Your not alone Richard, Wall Mart will install any tire they sell. Would I have them do it? Not on a 45' DP, but I have had it done on 2 Gas unit's and had no problems with them!

    Inverter Output

Who installed the new one? As Brett just said. Everytime I have anything electrical removed and replaced...I take a lot of photo's, before, during and after. All it takes is one crossed wire & your chasing gremlins!
  19. I'm glad you found your problem, 2010 was iffy year...you apparently have the last "Roadmaster" chassis! When Monaco filed for Bankruptcy in 2007, that was the end for your chassis, the BK was finalized in early 2010 and everything was sold to a holding group, who built HR on a different chassis and engine, first unit was late 2010. That Group sold to Allied, who own's REV. There is only one Manufacturer today, that still build and use the "Roadmaster" chassis...Newell, Miami, OK. Before Monaco acquired HR, Newell got the chassis under Licence, from HR, same as Beaver!

You can up that 103 if you have a 50 amp or 30 amp transformer by 10%...they sell under the name off Autoformer!
  21. Ray, don't think I want to wash all of me in "Glycerine"...
  22. Wayne, do you have the DEF in a bay or cab you open a small door on side of coach? With mine I had to open a bay door, then unscrew cap on DEF tank, not a easy fill.

    Toyo has 235/80R & 245/75R.
  24. Wayne, how can you say that? You got the fire & heat on, below 63! LOL Add 5 degrees on to those #'s for Three River!
  25. Year would help but I also suspect a gas ford on F 53 chassis...I had a 2006 Southwind 32, only mod I did was add Safe-T-Plus after knowing weight corner to corner and front end alignment (yea, it was off), my unit was New! Got it at CW in 2005, best riding gas coach I ever owned.
