We went through the same with our coach 5 years ago. Ours were the incorrect size and load range that were installed by the RV dealer, talk about NO attention to detail that could have resulted in an accident.

Not sure of what you mean by stacked so I thought I should clarify, this is the type I am referring to (Apartment type). Not the two Splendid's stacked, they do not hold enough clothes to make it worth wild to have IMHO. The Newmar's we looked at had the type below in the photo. Carl, you haven't spent a quarter on laundry, so you don't use detergent?

Volcom, any reason you are not going to run the stock tire on the coach? Wider tires on narrow rims present a hazard and will often cause the tire to crown in the center. I may have gotten lost somewhere in all of these posts, sorry if i'm mistaking. If you are changing the wheels then id say go for it, the Dura-Bright wheels we have at work are fantastic! Just make sure you get the correct offset to allow for steering and dual wheel clearance so the duels do not "kiss" while traveling.

Tim, Newmar makes a great coach, so does Country Coach. One observation, when we were shopping a few years back, stacked washer/Dryer units were in 99% of the Newmar products (the other 1% of the Newmar's had the closet for it, no unit). I do not recall seeing any stacked units or space for them in any other manufacture. I fully understand why your wife wants that set up.

I knew you would beat our temperatures, I’m glad you chimed in. Next Tuesday we are supposed to hit 60. Strange temperatures!

Minus 5 this morning when I left for work at 5:45am est. 17 when I left work at 4:30pm. There is so much salt on the roads they are covered in a gray/white powder. I sure hope Chevrolet’s cabin filter is working well, it looks like you are driving down a dusty dirt road. You can't tell where to be cautious for ice since you can’t see it. My blue car is only blue on the roof, rest of it is gray/white. I saw somewhere today 47 days until spring, at least that’s one way to look at it positively.

Instant Pot -- Essential Small Appliance for RVs?

Kay, sounds delicious ! For the first time in a while I now have the desire to pull that down and give it a run. -
Already have mine, PA version! When I made a license change on my CDL this year they provided me with the new Real Id license at the DMV. Sad part I don't look like the guy in the photo, they used my last photo from 2016

Kinda what I figured .

What is the expected weather up there 1st week of March? Business trip to Hookset, pre planning if I will need a 4x4 or not.

Yeah, I know but I am a creature of habit . I saw a recommendation for recipes above, I’ll have to explore that and see what sounds good and pull ours down from the cabinet. -
Instant Pot -- Essential Small Appliance for RVs?

We have a Cooks Essential oval pressure cooker at home. I have to be honest, I've only used it 3 times in the 4 years I have had it. It would be a good edition to a RV for one of the newer versions which are smaller. Why not, I already carry a smoker and two grills I guess I really need to learn how to cook with it and master that art. A cookbook would probably be a good investment for me. -
Herman, his awning had a beehive caught up inside causing the awning problem that was thought to be all electrical problems after a battery replacement. That’s definitely a new one for the books!

That's a good thing!

YUP, if you do it you might want to pick up a portable one ASAP, id be worried as to why your failed. Sometimes it just happens but you never know! Just make sure the coach is unplugged, inverter's are off and if you have auto start on the generator, make sure its disabled.

Roland, the exterior models are designed to get wet. I have one that is designated to the box at the house. Its been out there in rain and snow for going on 5 years now. Our coach had one hard wired, when it failed of course it ruined a portion of my day and that was when I decided to go portable. I tried to bypass it, wires were too short! Several Home Depot trips and one ugly wiring mess to look at for the remainder of the trip we had power again. I just had my Progressive portable unit go out this year camping, I called a local RV dealer, bought a replacement, with in 1/2 hour we were back up and headed out for the planned excursion that day, much easier to deal with a failed portable unit than a hard wired unit in my opinion. I carry the one I bought that day and the replacement Progressive unit now as a back up. When you are a part time RV'r every hour counts, before you know it your on your way home mentally preparing yourself for work . Did this get wet from your previous water leak?

YUP, 34 above and no sign of spring yet!
-
Ok...ok don’t rub it in . I was outside working on a diesel van and it was 34!

Puff, there is a formula that OEM’s use when pairing driveline to GCWR and GVWR. On a motorhome id be more concerned as the chassis manufacturer has no idea what the coach builder is going to install with regards to wind drag and weight. You considering trading in for a new coach?
-
, that’s crazy!! Glad you figured it out before the motor was ruined!
-
Roger, great old find! I asked our Michelin rep yesterday to dig into it.

sounds like—- NOT SOON ENOUGH!

So if I am understanding this correctly, the rest of the fuse box has power but a few fuses within the box do not?
-
Any fuses in that box have power, or does that fuse box have power coming into it? Sounds like a power wire is either not connected or accidentally connected to a ground. Do you have a volt meter?
