If using a portable compressor I would use an inline drier to trap the moisture.

I just remove the bottom bracket and use a socket on the nut. Had to do it on my current coach.

I have done the conversion. It requires a fuel pump and a carb. Not hard to do. I have even changed a gas model to a propane. Those model of Onan propane use liquid so if you need to run them on a portable tank you need to use a 5 gal barbecue tank turned upside down. I don't know it a larger tank is possible to turn upside down or not.

Not that difficult to do. Too bad you don't live in Az as I have a couple of new ones in my garage, you could have one!

I had that happen to my 93 Coachmen Santara. I pulled the trim off at the level of the floor and jacked the body up and lined up the body with the floor. I drilled and screwed the steel tubing to the edge of the floor. The tubing is square and you drill a larger hole on the outside for the head of the screw to go through and then a smaller hole on the inside of the tube so the head of the screw holds the side wall tube to the floor edge tube. I must have put 24 screws in a 4 foot area. Then replace the trim.

I tow a Silverado 1500 with a 96 gal diesel tank in the bed. I look on Gas Buddy for the cheapest diesel in the area and fill my truck, a lot easier to get into a small station, and then transfer to the motorhome. I carry 186 gal in the coach so I can usually wait to buy my fuel in any part of the country since I get 10 mpg. Couple that with my 5% cash rebate and I think I am buying fuel at the least expensive price.

I would check with the mfg to see if they would warranty when installed in an RV. On my last coach I installed a Haier and fortunately I had made a phone call to tech service and they did not tell me that there was no warranty in a RV. In 7 months the compressor failed running on a psw 3000 watt Xantrex. They said no warranty so I told them to listen to the recording of our service phone call and they decided to cover it. I got my money back at Lowe's.

To get the maximum life out of the batteries they should be removed and scrubbed down with baking soda and water solution and thoroughly dried. Its the moisture that slowly drains the charge. I would keep them in a warm dry area and have a float charger on them.

There shouldn't be any need to rewired the coach to change from modified sine wave to pure sine wave. If you go to a larger inverter you may have to increase the size of the battery cables but the ac wiring should be ok. Some refrigerators won't run on modified sine wave, you may have to test it before installation.

On mine the relay provides the ground to the pump. Check to see if you have 12 volt positive at the pump.

It seems like if you have a carry a spare you will never need it!

If the wire has a short to it in the center someplace, when it is disconnected at both ends you will get a reading from either end and ground.

If you have very flexible hdmi cables with enough slack, they shouldn't come unplugged. I have traveled thousands of miles on bumpy roads and never had one come unplugged.

Don't try to level the coach side to side if the air has been dumped. If the ground is slanted and the coach is on the bump stops and you lift one side you will twist the body. The front jacks need to be down so that the body can tilt as needed. The front jacks are plumbed together so even if they are down the front can tip.

Its odd that it is 6 volt not 12 volt. So your saying that the solenoid works ok when the small wire is disconnected. If you can't find where the trigger wire is picking up the voltage I would just run a new wire.

If you use a remote start switch you can watch the belt and bump the switch as little or as much as you need to rotate the crank.

Take the panel out and go to the inverter and use a short cable and see if the panel works. It could be a bad cable or connector. I had that happen with my Xantrex.

After you weigh it on all four corners, the pressure on the chart is for the heavier tire(s) on the same axle. Inflate to the required pressure plus about 5%. Do the pressure cold.
