  1. In 98 they went to electronic engines, my ISB Cummins has over 800 lb/ft of torque. That size engine was used in 32-37 foot coaches.
  2. I use my on board air because it is run through the drier and is clean. Also powers my 3/4 inch impact wrench for changing tires. If you use a portable compressor be sure to use a drier.
  3. Why don't you use the same standard judging Banks as K&N? We have done warranty repair for Banks at there request with failures that happen to be in our area near our shop. They paid quickly.
  4. I hope you don't have far to go because the dolly will jump like a jack rabbit because of no suspension and no weight on it.
  5. That test was done with the old filter media some years ago and when Spires toured the K&N test facility more recently he came away with a little different conclusion. Just call K&N and they will give you the test data.
  6. We have been in windy situations like that before. We just use caution when opening the door and if we are moving I head the direction into the wind to minimize the effect.
  7. With respect to the overnight parking, I would like to see pull through sites of at least 65 feet long because usually when we stop for the night we don't unhook. It wouldn't need to be paved, just level. If electric was available charge extra, like $5 if used. I would consider electric a luxury and would not use it unless it was too hot and we needed ac. Thanks for letting me voice my thoughts.
  8. Doesn't sound right to me, I would call the mfg and ask.
  9. You will find the parts you need at most rv parts store. Just have the model # with you.
  10. Sounds like the door is too low. Try adding a washer to the hinge pin at the bottom.
  11. I would like to see a small section for just overnight parking without any hookups. Fee somewhere around $10 for 12 hour stop.
  12. I would go to Cedar Island and take the ferry to Ocracoke. There are several federal campgrounds that we always stay at. Go up past Kittyhawk before you head inland. Great area because I enjoy lighthouses.
  13. I use Spray Nine engine degreaser which does as good a job as steam cleaning.
  14. It should make it run better just like when you wash your car it always runs better!!
  15. Shurflo makes an accumulator which tees at the outlet of the pump. It works with a cushion of air at the top to smooth out the flow. I would rebuild the pump with a kit or replace it.
  16. I have a variable speed Shurflo. Low demand motor runs slow.
  17. Make sure the charge wire is at least a #10.
  18. Did this just start or has it always done it? What model do you have?
  19. Mine are 28 inches long which is the same size as my Chrysler Town and Country, so they are readily available at many stores.
  20. Yes it was a new one. I bought a memory foam made for an rv. It's not supposed to get hard when it cold. I added a 6 inch wide platform on the top edge of the end of the engine box.
  21. Where is the exhaust manifold leak? Have you checked all the hoses between the turbo and the inter- cooler and intake manifold? Is the turbo free to spin?
  22. I extended my platform to accomodate a full queen, 80 inches long.
  23. I designed and built my jack mounts and my park brakes are in the drums with air pressure to release. Been doing it this way on this coach for 14 years and 160 thousand miles.
