  1. I will continue my FCOC membership because of the discount it provides for chassis service and I will certainly use the Gaffney service when I'm in that part of the country. I doubt FCCC had little if any involvment in FCOC leaving FMCA.
  2. There is a Tiffin owners forum that you may have some success finding the manuals you're wanting. http://www.tiffinrvnetwork.com/index.php
  3. It is not a legal requirement in Texas or at least it wasn't about 4 years ago when I used the same dolly. BTW...that is a great dolly.
  4. I don't think so but send this picture to Blue Ox and they can tell you.
  5. Are you sure you're out of propane? Does the cooktop or water heater work on propane?
  6. I understand your concerns with how the "problem" was handled by Suncoast but when you posted this on iRV2 there were nothing but positive comments from other Suncoast customers. It seems to me you asked for two things, replace the blind and drive to another facility to look at the job. They've offered to replace the blind if you will get three bids but they declined to drive to another facility to examine your coach. I hope it all works out and as always - there is always another side of the story.
  7. I can relate one experience of not having the towbar close to level. Towing a lifted Jeep, the towbar was almost 5" from level. He had towed the Jeep hundreds if not thousands of miles with a braking system trouble free until he had to make a panic stop. Due to the law of physics, the Jeep raised up and over the towbar hitch attachment to the point of stiking the rear of the Super C motorhome hard enough it totaled the Jeep and did almost $15,000 damage to the Super C. Blue Ox states: The tow bar should never be angled "up" towards the car from the coach. Please take the time to read the article from Blue OX. http://www.blueox.com/t-TowingPhysics101.aspx

    Tire Monitor

I apologize for not updating my rants about the TST system. They sent me another (3rd) monitor. I programed it and used it our next trip of about 400 miles. It worked flawlessly and indicated pressures within 1 psig of my two air gauges. TST does have outstanding customer service.
  9. Depending on our destination I tow either a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ (16-18mpg) or a 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU (20-23mpg).
  10. There were several complimentary posts when you posted on iRV2.
  11. Thats sort of like asking which is better, vanilla or chocolate ice cream. If they are both towable four down, then whichever one you like the best.
  12. Thanks, Brett. I've always wondered what that clinking noise was and now I know.
  13. FYI... Mark's original post was made March 2013. Hopefully others will benefit from all the research that you guys have done.
  14. Check RV Park Reviews. I may be difficut finding a park in MN open this time of year. http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/minnesota/albert-lea http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/kansas
  15. The compressor is mounted on the engine. The air tanks are mounted berween the frame rails near the front. You most likely have an electrical issue rather than an air issue.
  16. I have two available and you must take both.
  17. Hi Bill, I'm just curous, what are you trying to accomplish? Thanks,
  18. This is the one Rich is referring to.
  19. JT, There are probably as many different battery hold-down clips as there are makes and models of motorhomes. You may get a more definitive answer if you include year, make and model of the motorhome in your post. First thought is to contact the rv manufacturer.
  20. You may as well dump the air as it will only be a matter of time the air bags will leak down.
  21. Stevislick, Can you give more details on your comment "you will need to make sure the dealer installs the correct base plate designed to work with the adaptive cruise sensors". According to the Blue Ox website and the etrailer website, Blue Ox cannot furnish a baseplate for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Also, the Summit is available in a two wheel drive model which cannot be towed four down or on a dolly, it must be trailer towed.
  22. Roadmaster sells a towbar bracket adapter to adapt a Roadmaster baselplate to a Blue Ox towbar. http://roadmasterinc.com/products/accessories/adaptors.html
  23. Blue Ox does not make a baseplate for this Jeep at this time. There may be issues towing a 2-wheel drive Jeep four down.
