    Carl C. Click on your name that is on the top right banner. Click on MY SETTINGS Click on SIGNATURE Scroll down to the dialogue box and type your name and any other info you want to show in your signature. Lastly and most important...at the bottom of the dialogue box click SAVE CHANGES. Hope this helps.

    Awesome showing in the Houston area this morning. The stars were unbelievably beautiful in the black sky and the Milky Way was amazing.

    Actually I believe you have it reversed. WD-40 is not a lubricate and should not be used as it will dry out the rubber seals.

    I was surprised by the number of stations I saw this summer in the mid-west with highway diesel and off-road diesel on the same pump but with different nozzles. A person could easily make a mistake in that situation and pump the wrong fuel. Most states are looking at any way to increase revenue and like a judge told me many years ago, "ignorance of the law and carelessness are no excuse".

    Simple suggestion, if you don't understand exactly what Brett just stated, hire a licensed electrician. If the wiring is not done correctly you can do severe damage to your motorhome or worse, yourself.

    I'm sure sorry for your problem but it appears they have a stated cancellation policy which apparently you didn't adhere too. We have had this happen during our travels and we'll most likely have it happen again. It looks like a great destination, I'll put this on my list of places to stay if in the area. “Bad planning on my part does not constitute an emergency on their part"

    We had a Country Coach next to us idle for 33 minutes and that was only after I started timing him. It was probably close to 45 minutes before he slowly drove a half mile to the campground exit. The thought just occurred to me...how many owners perform perfect maintenance and then do harmful things like this? I guess it wouldn't matter if the oil and filters were changed two or three times a year if you abuse the engine this way.

    I have three pieces of of information on the LBCU display. Water Temp Transmission Temp Boost I had not considered your point of driving in colder/cooler ambient temp effecting the coolant temp and not the turbo temp. Three minute idle time from now on I think. I've always been concerned with "excessive" idling. Thanks for the information.

    All excellent points, Brett. Tell me if I'm doing the right thing during shutdown please. My normal low operating temperature is 189 degrees but will usually run at 190-192 under normal conditions. I always idle after driving until I reach the 189 mark and then shut down. Sometimes it only takes a minute to drop to this temp and some times it may take 3 minutes. My question, am I shutting down too quickly at the one minute mark? 325 Cummins ISB. ON edit: I didn't intend to hijack the thread.

    If you have a diesel motrhome you have a built in air source. If you have a gasser I would suggest buying a small portable pancake compressor rated to 150 psi. Remember to air the tires to the recommended pressure from the tire manufacturers chart based on the weight of each corner. Pressures should only be adjusted when tire is cold not after its been driven. There is a lot of info on this forum; do a search for air pressure, weight, etc.

    My radio has an in-line fuse located behind the radio. I had to remove the radio to find it. You can call Fleetwood customer service with your Fleetwood ID and they can tell you where it is and also email you wiring and plumbing schematics.

    I made 12" x 12"pads using 2" x 12" pine. I cut 5/8" OSB to size (11 1/4") and screwed to each side of the 2" x 12". These have worked for three years in mud, gravel, dirt and asphalt without breaking or cracking.
