  1. ....or get a DP with 10,000 tow capacity...or better yet, a 15,000 tow capacity.
  2. Is that what your new Newmar does? On my Eagle the inverter on or off has nothing to do with battery charging. Once the house batteries get to 13.3, the charge will go through to the chassis batteries.

    tires.....

Ditto, I have Toyos on the six rear and Continentals on the front.
  4. Yes, Loves is very convenient and also off the scale expensive. Any auto parts store will have what you need at a much lower cost.
  5. If you don't adhere to the contract exactly as written, you're SOL. That's why they pay the lawyers big bucks.
  6. A 2011 coach could have tires manufactured in 2010, if so, those tires are coming up on 10 years old. The only place I'd drive that coach is to a shop to get all new tires. The other tire information is irrelevant...low mileage, covered, no cracks, what they sit on, new ones are expensive, etc. The OP is living on borrowed time with those tires, they are too old to be safe. All MHO, of course.
  7. Last summer, I put Continental 315s on the front with the FMCA program, and Toyo 295s on the rear without the FMCA program. The retail price for the Toyos was cheaper than the Michelins with the FMCA program....plus I got a discount for them.
  8. This is a good idea, but have no idea how to post a picture...would somebody be kind enough to post some instructions.
  9. I talked recently with the folks at TSD who issue the ESF card. They said Pilot and Flying J are in the program now. As an aside, there are some fuel services that will accept the card but are not in the program....thus no discount.

    Steering wheel shaking

I've had vibrating (not "shaking") problems on two occasions with DPs. Both times is was corrected by simply balancing the front wheels.
  11. There is a thread on another forum about the new V8, same old complaint, terrible gas mileage.
  12. Find a place on the interstate, away from cities, and let her drive from one rest area to the next that is not very far. Not too much traffic, no cities, just straight and level, as we would say in the flying business....piece of cake, it would build her confidence..
  13. Could be, all I can tell you is that I paid $222 last month for three years. Maybe that's why the lady to whom I was talking said I made a "good decision."
  14. Same here. In fact I still keep a 3 x 5 card up front with the directions for the wipers.
  15. All ACs are "inverted." They not only look cool but have three lenses, see my post at 10:01 AM yesterday.
  16. Same on my Eagle...don't get to flash the running lights very often!😃
  17. If you have specific questions about FMCA's ERS, you can call the actual provider (Safe Ride Motor Club) (972) 455-1900.
  18. FMCA's ERS is $74 a year, you won't find any cheaper.
  19. I hope they have made some improvements in the chassis, because it appears the gas mileage is still terrible.
  20. I punch a hole in the top rear of the handle of the 2 1/2 gallon container so it flows much smoother and faster. Also, the bottom of the 2 1/2 container, when you cut the top part off, makes a nice small storage container.
  21. Great looking coach. I see it has the inverted mirrors like my Eagle....does it have the three lenses also? I love the one oriented on the front tires, it's very handy going through construction sites or towns with no shoulder, just a curb.
  22. Ours too, unless in the summer and everything is very dusty.
  23. Like the others, I had an 07 Duramax dually with an Allison 1000 and Dex VI was recommended. Things have changed.
