    Tire Safeguard TPMS

My coach came with a TPMS system, but sorry, I can't recall the brand. BTW, I was in VN, in III Corps, and wore both the patches you have displayed.
  2. Re coolant for newer Cummins...another recommended brand is Peak "Final Charge Global Extended Life."
  3. That's the way mine work, the instructions are in the manual. If the mirrors don't work at all, be sure they are plugged in to the back of the radio.
  4. If your lights, plastic trim, and glass are in good shape and you want to keep them that way, try Protect All. www.protectall.com
  5. If Honda makes a vehicle towable, it will say so in the owner's manual.
  6. We all have our favorites, mine is the Honda CRV. The owner's manual tells you it is towable and what you need to tow it. Plus you get Honda's reliability, economy, and quality engineering.

    Used Tires Inspection

Too big of a risk and unknown for me. I don't put used tires on anything.
  8. We just attended a rally and an Allison seminar. The limiting factor for the 3000/4000 Allisons is not weight, but engine torque, don't know about the 2500 Allison.

    OK Campground

Downstream Casino on the OK/MO line has RV parking. Not sure of the services, but I think it has power/water and a common sewer dump. Free for three days with a club card...also free. : www.downstreamcasino.com
  10. If the Revolution is like all other AC models, the batteries are charged from the inverter/charger when on shore power.
  11. Rule number 5, if all else fails, get a bigger hammer.
  12. After I had my coach for a few months, one day at a CG with nothing to do, I got a notebook and found every fuse panel in the coach...they are in four separate basement sections. I made a diagram of every panel, listing basement section and every fuse/spare that was located there. Now when I have a 12v problem, I research my MH book and not every basement section.
  13. Good suggestion. We are in Rockport now...there are CGs all over the place. There is very little "beach'' here.
  14. Have you considered getting a rock guard for your MH?
  15. Check the American Coach models for those years. The new ACs are rated at 15,000, so the older ones are probably in your range or higher.
  16. I'm certainly no engineer, but in theory, the turbocharger remedies the altitude problem by compressing the air back to sea-level pressures in order to produce rated power at higher altitudes. The altitude at which the engine is producing full power is known in aviation terms as the critical altitude. When the vehicle is above that altitude, engine power output will decrease as altitude increases just as it would in a naturally aspirated engine.
  17. My coach requires 26" blades. Due to the width of the blade that fits in the OEM bracket, all will not fit (Anko did not fit). At Wal Mart, I found Bosch, they did fit.
  18. You have lots of water around your area, check the boat dealers. I have a 50 x 20 garage with power at a boat dealer's yard. He has a big building with five of us lined up with separate garages.
  19. Great batteries, but a bit pricey.
  20. I have the same set up with a single drop hitch and three bike carrier and it works fine.
  21. The CRV is a great vehicle to tow four down. The owner's manual spells out what you need to do...the stop (in our manual) to start it and run it through the gears, is eight hours, there is no mention of miles.

    Algae In Fuel

A biocide is what you need, any marine store will have it: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=14353&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=50366&subdeptNum=50396&classNum=50399
  23. The biggest hindrances to "good" MPH, assuming your engine is running right, are head winds and going too fast. All you can do is reduce your speed.
