I had a brand new pickup sitting next to my house. Went out and it would start, but would only idle, no matter what I did to the accelerator. Called the dealer, they came and put it on a trailer and took it to the shop. About an hour later, they called...squirrels had gotten in a chewed up a bunch of wiring.

The Camry is a great car, but no longer fits your needs. Sell the Camry and get a Honda CRV...towable four down, light, reliable, and economical.

Also, on this subject, my Spartan manual says the weight on one side of the axle should be within 5% of the weight of the other side of the axle.

I'm just an old fashioned guy, who sticks with what is tried and true and has worked in the past, and hates anything new or anything that's changed. Might not be good reasons, but that's why I'd want a Cummins. I did get on the MaxxForce web site and looked for a dealer/repair shop...none within 150 miles of me. Good luck with your choice.

303 is good stuff and I put in on my tires since it has no petroleum products. However, I use regular wax on the body. 303 states it should be applied every three to five weeks...that's way to often to put anything on the entire MH.

Compute your tow rating to see if towing a Class B is possible...it is the lowest of: 1. GCWR minus the actual weight of the tow vehicle when ready to tow. 2. Hitch tow rating. 3. Coach tow rating. 4. Chassis tow rating.

Even in my basement with the slider, I use an old mop handle with a hook screwed in the end...it's easier than the slider.

My coach has an electric engine preheat not associated with the AH. I set a standard timer so it comes on about four hours prior to leaving. You might have one too. Mine is in the basement compartment where the power cord is located.

I would not even consider slide supports. Think about what would happen if you have your slides supported and you have a flat tire. The coach settles, but the slides are held in place by the support. Even with jacks out, you could have major damage.

I agree with Rich's comment about doing nothing while under warranty. Then the first thing I would check is if the transmission can take any extra HP and/or torque. I must ask though, you just bought a brand new 2014 MH...why even consider adding more power? If there was a power issue, why not get a larger MH/engine?

Sedona then Flagstaff is how I'd go...then I 40...forever...

Sometime my two front jacks do the opposite of the OP's. After everything is level and the PG panel and engine are shut off, the front two jacks will come up about 2".

We have Diamond Shield Protective Mask on the front of our MH, doing fine so far: www.diamond-shield.com/index.cfm

Tony28...Don't forget that in these forums we talk about problems, things that need to get fixed. Somebody makes a post saying his slide won't move...a problem. But you don't hear from the thousands of other RVers whose slide is working fine...nobody gets on and makes a post, "my slide worked fine today."

RVs are in one of the following three conditions: - It just broke. - You just fixed it. - It's getting ready to break.

I can't see where waxing or treating just the outside 18" or 2' of the roof is going to stop any white run off. When it rains, the untreated part of the roof is subject to the rain and will run off...right over the treated part and down the sides.

Women Class A Motorhome Drivers - Does She Drive?
five replied to Bluebirds's topic in General Discussion
Here are the answers to your questions, in order: 1. Never, refuses to drive it and will not even consider driving it. 2. See #1. 3. See #1. As for a relative, non relative instructor, it depends on the personalities of those receiving the instruction. I think it's good for the ladies to drive. My suggestion to my D/W was to try on a nice stretch of interstate with little traffic...see #1.- 16 replies

I use Rejex on the front and windshield and Nu Finish for the rest of the body...NF is what I use on all my vehicles.
-
To each his own, but I have one and don't like it. It costs lots of vertical space and if I pull out one side, it knocks items off the other side...plus heavy and expensive.

You might send PG an email, they are very responsive.

RV Extended Warranties -- Recommendations?
five replied to MystreBengals's topic in Extended Service Policies
We researched a number of companies offering extended warranties. For the amount of money they wanted, with a deductible, we opted not to get one. The premium they wanted would pay for lots of repairs. -
Your tires, your choice, but I like to keep OEM size tires on my coach. Changing the size of your tires normally results in slightly different speedometer readings and transmission shift change points.
