  1. I understand from a friend that just installed an RF-19 that the new version does not have handles. But I have seen lock adaptors that work well keeping the doors closed on turns. Herman
  2. The Samsung residential model that fit where the Nevercool 1200 fits is the RF-19. The height is just a bit taller but most RVs can be adjusted to fit.
  3. Good morning Tom welcome to the Forum. FMCA does not have a deal with Toyo Tires at this time. I have run the Toyo tires for close to 4 years now and I am very pleased with them. The Michelin is a very good tire but have a price close to twice as much as the Toyo's. Again welcome. Herman
  4. Just bought my second Blue Ox 10,000 lb. Tow Bar and I would buy another one when the time comes. I have used the M & G Engineering Brake. I have used it on 4 different vehicle and like it very much. Both have served us well. Herman
  5. driver, Welcome to the Forum. Sorry I am not familiar with a "BRAKE BOX". Herman

  7. Monaco has a Roadmaster chassis not a Freightliner, sorry. Herman
  8. A friend of mine had an issue with his single lever shower while in Iowa. He took it apart and found he could blow through the cold side and it was clear. He did the same on the hot side and got nothing. We took each side apart and found nothing. Put it back together and was able to blow through each side. Put it back in an had both hot and cold water flow. All we could come up with was the rubber seat may have been stuck and we guess we broke it loose when we took it apart. Problem solved for now. Herman
  9. Most roads are shake and bake it roads. If you find a smooth stretch don't say anything about how good it is because when you do it will go to heck in heart beat. Herman
  10. Sounds like, to quote a few, a bad or loose ground. Finding is another thing. Herman
  11. 99 Welcome to the Forum. Sometimes parks may ask for picture if the unit is over 10 years old. Our coach is 19 years old and I have never been asked the year. I can understand the reasoning behind the request but I have seen 30 year old unit that are in better condition then some 5 year old units. So again welcome, Herman
  12. Stayed at Musicland 20 years ago. It is on many levels but it is right in the middle of everything. Herman
  13. Paul, Welcome to the Forum. This is an answer to you but it is also for all of our new FMCA Members. Your FMCA Executive Board is aware of the problems with the quality of the plaques and is working on it right now. It is not an issue that can be solved over night but you can be assured it is being worked on as quickly as possible. Again Welcome. Herman
  14. Welcome to the Forum. While you have the pump off be sure and look closely at your bracket , I have a friend that his broke. and damaged his fan. He was very fortunate it didn't get into his radiator. Herman
  15. James, Welcome to the Forum. Michelin has been a softer ride but have a tendency to have side wall cracking around 5 year of age. As bm02tj said Continentals are a good choose, for myself, I am running Toyo now and am very pleased with them. Again Welcome, Herman
  16. Now that's the definition of "Final Trip". Herman
  17. Thanks for the heads up. I will have to look into it. Herman
  18. I am sorry if some are offended by my following the rules I was told to follow when appointed to the position of Monitor of the FMCA Forum. Here are the rules once again for those that have not read them. Herman Members 663 posts Location:Cincinnati, Ohio Report post (IP: 216.196.186.2) Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) Thank you for visiting the FMCA Forums, where motorhome owners -- from novice to veteran -- can discuss everything about motorhoming. To promote a fun and welcoming atmosphere, we have implemented the following rules: Check to see if your question/comment already has been addressed somewhere on the site. Use the search feature. Post in the correct forum. Look at other topics and see where your topic should go. Do not cross-post the same question to multiple places. Choose an appropriate Topic Title. Try to summarize your subject briefly in the title, and elaborate in the message itself. Repeat the title in the body if it will make things clearer. An example of a bad title would be "HELP ME." A good title might be, "Cummins ISB Engine Fails on Steep Incline." Do not use a URL as a thread title. Keep all posts on-topic. We may delete individual posts that could ruin a good topic thread. Threads that evolve into good-natured, off-topic banter are better suited for a personal contact method such as a private message or e-mail. Include as much information as you can when seeking help. This may include: coach make/model, engine, chassis, transmission. Solicitations to buy or sell of any kind are strictly prohibited. Do not post to advertise your product or business. Commercial advertising is not permitted in any relation to your account, including URLs or active links in your profile or signature. When recommending a product to help a user solve their issue, please disclose any affiliations -- paid or unpaid -- you may have with the provider of that product. Any post deemed to be self-promotion, advertising or spam can and will be removed. Posting excessive, unnecessary references to your products and Web sites is self-promotion. You may post about problems you have with a product, company or organization, but using the forums for repeated attacks is forbidden. Posts on matters in which legal counsel is/has been involved, including posts related to future, current or past lawsuits, are not allowed. Political and religious posts are not permitted. Keep all comments civil. Constructive criticism is welcome, but insults directed toward other users or the site administrators will not be tolerated. You may not use this message board to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. FMCA reserves the right to remove any message deemed inappropriate or disruptive to our Community. If a topic is recognized as a violation of any of these guidelines, please contact a Moderator or an Administrator either via Private Message or the "report post to moderator" feature; do not respond publicly to the member. And please do not argue a moderator's decision publicly on the forums. FMCA reserves the right to change these rules as necessary to meet any future needs that may arise. FMCA is not responsible for any messages posted. FMCA does not vouch for or validate the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and is not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of FMCA. Within these guidelines, FMCA encourages information exchange, friendly debate, socializing and good humor. Thank you for being part of our online community. 19. Jack, Welcome to the Forum. You can put where ever you want. On the front, rear, up high, down low, screw it on, two sided tape or tie wraps. It's all up to you. Again welcome, Herman
  20. Will be traveling for the next 3 weeks and may not be on the Forum too much, keep your good eye on it.

Will be in Manchester Iowa for 6 days. Then Red Bay, AL for 4.

  21. I hope you solve your electrical issue. I noticed in your cozy living room that there doesn't appear to be a seat for the co-pilot. Also I see the aluminum sheet to block the heat. If your have double pane windows I hope you don't use it on them. The reflected heat will cause the air between the glass to expand and blow the seals. Herman
  22. Folks this topic is going no where except to disagreements. So I am going to close it.
  23. What is the cost if you went to Walmart online ordered for pickup at your local store? Herman
  24. "Holt" is a big Cat dealer & service center in North Texas. Herman
