  1. Debbie, In selecting TPMs for your unit it would be best to visit several Vendors selling TPMs. Then you can determine which ones suit you best. Questions such as Can the Batteries be Changed, Can you fill the tires without removing the TPM, will the unit read both the MH and the Toad, and so forth. Good Luck and Enjoy the Rally! Herman
  2. Barry, As Carl said, Welcome to the forum. Since you do not have your Packet, you may pick it up in "Will Call". Directions: From I-10 take Exit 164 and turn West E. Queen Creek Rd. Continue on E. Queen Rd. to S. Maricopa Rd. Turn Right on S Maricopa Rd. To W. Loop Road. Turn Left on W. Loop Rd. to SE Loop Rd. to Parking Area B-1. At this point you will see Orange Vested Parking Crew members that will direct you. A member of the Parking Crew will assist you in getting your Packet from Will Call When you are on W. Queen Rd. you will also see signs that will direct you. You will also see quite a few Motor Homes going the same way. Barry, Welcome to your first National Rally. We look forward to making this a nice and remember-able Experience. Herman Parking Crew Leader
  3. Breden/William and rvadventure, It is a beautiful coach. One to be proud of, however when you type in all CAPITOLS it an indication of SHOUTING. Thanks, look forward to hearing more from both of you. Herman
  4. wclays, Welcome to the Forum. I believe the name you intended to use is FMCA.. Family Motor Coach Association. Glad you found a good dealer. Sounds like he is very customer oriented. Happy Travels. Herman

  6. Are all your stripes decals? Restore, not feasible. Many folks will used the decals as a pattern to have them painted on. Herman
  7. Not unusual for something in the sun to be hotter then the same thing in the shade. Herman
  8. Good thought Wayne, the problem is that Carl is asking for Linda's coach not his. His coach is toasty Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Herman
  9. I agree on the balancing. When you have tires needing balancing there is a good way to determine front or rear. If you feel the vibration in the steering wheel you have a front tire or tires out of balance, if you feel it in your but or feet it is in the rear. Hardy, have you felt any vibration when you drive your CRV? Does it bounce too much when you hit a bump? Balancing would be the most economical place to start. Ask the tech that balances your tires to spin them first before removing any weights. I have found severely out of balance when I had this done. But I will also stand by the alignment. By having it aligned you may find some worn parts. Good luck and let us know what you find. Herman
  10. Hardy, Welcome to the Forum. My first thought would be alignment. Find a shop that will align both front and rear (aka all around). Herman
  11. Nice report, let us know what the shop discovered. Safe travels till then. Herman
  12. I understand the desire to go off road. It must be a real rush. Been down that road with fast and loud cars. Now I'm for smooth roads (hard to find) soft seats and Air Conditioning. Besides, the beer stays cooler so it is cool to drank when you arrive. Herman
  13. I seem to remember that a diesel does not produce a vacuum. I'm I right or wrong? Herman
  14. Ray, Reading this entire Post I have come to the conclusion that if it weren't for "Miss Adventures" you wouldn't have any Adventures at all. Herman
  15. Carl, Check the water level in the radiator. Sometime when it is low it may not be able to push the heat all the way to the front. Also the flapper valve may not be functioning properly. We are here in Deming and it is 36 degrees. Herman
  16. jriedel, Welcome to the Forum. That would depend on what part of the country. There is RVTrader, PPL in Houston Consignment dealer and Motor Homes of Texas also a consignment dealer. Both MOT and PPL are very good locations if you are in the Southwest. You might list the Year, length, number of slides and HP. There might be someone here on the Forum that might be intrested Herman
  17. Tracy, Another definition. DOT Number is the Department of Transportation date of manufacture. Example 14/16 means that the tire was made in the 14 week of 2016. We all go by those number plus visually looking at the side walls and between the treads for signs of cracking. Some people call it crazing but either was too much or too deep of cracking is not a good sign. If you are in doubt, have a trusted dealer look at your tires. The age that most all of us go by is 7 years. I for one start really looking my tires over is in the 5 to 7 years. To answer your question about changing just one tire on a set of duels amount to the same as having on a pair of shoes with one heel worn down more than the other. On has to take more of the load than the other. Does that makes sense? It is not as big a deal when you are talking about a steer or tag tire. They turn independently from each other. Hopes this helps. Herman
  18. Tracey, Front tire = Steer tire Middle two tires = Drive Tires Rear tire = Tag axle Right side = Passengers side Left side = Drivers side Just a bit of info. Herman
  19. John, I have Dish at both home and in the coach. I had the Hopper installed in both. I didn't have to purchase any receivers at all. I have a Hopper (aka the receiver) in each. All other TVs have a Joey attached to the TV. In the coach I did have to have a HDMI cable from the Hopper to the TV but that ran in the cabinet about 2 feet. The Hopper is on the Coax from the Satellite. The Joey on the back TV also has a HDMI cable and in the cabinet behind the TV. I did do some changing to our system like taking out the selector box and wiring it like a house. I have a DVR wired into the back of the TV and ran the cable and roof coax's into a "Y" into the TV also. All I have to do to switch is go into the TV's menu and select the input. This works for us. Herman
  20. JC, Are you moving Yet? Oh, by the Way, Welcome to the Forum. Herman
  21. And so goes the problem with Norcold. If I remember correctly that was the OP. Lee, did you get the unit working??? Herman
  22. In TEXAS "Deep Fried" is considered healthy! Herman By the way, what happened to the OP "Bleach in the Water System...."?
  23. Lee, There is no end for the saga of the Never Cool 1200. The EPA has designate the 1200 as a bio hazard and can no longer be used as boat anchors. They are now having to make special locations in land fills for them. Most states are having problems finding them in isolated areas along country roads illegally dumped. They are stating that they would rather have old mattresses and couches than No Cool 1200ds. Herman
  24. Irish, Is your current furniture comfortable and just in need of sprucing up? If so reupholster and you will get the fabrics and colors you want. Besides it already fits. Herman
