  1. Will do. If we go that route I can remove the Propane tank and loose several hundred pounds of dead weight. (Don't even go therr)😊 Herman
  2. We also use the convection quite often. I did have issues at first but finally stopped and read the instructions. Made a world of difference. For the range we are looking for either an induction or just electric unit that will fit flush with the couter top. Herman
  3. Not sure who would be the person to speak with where to add convention info. Maybe just add a topic in General Discussion titled something like "Gillette Convention 2018". A post like this could just die after the convention and another started for Perry. We will be having a social following the Seminar. By having the room for 2.5 hours we can just morf into the social. Maybe you can make the social time. See you in Indy. Herman
  4. Ross, you are so right about the results of a dues increase. The one that bark the loudest are the ones in MHs costing in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and will wait in line for 15 minutes to pay $10.00 for a cup of fufu coffee. ☺ Go figure.
  5. Wil I will try and do a report but may miss some. The main thrust of the Seminar will how to navigate the site. Any questions asked in the social will be asked to post them here with answers and solutions. Sorry you won't be able to attend, but you will be in Indy. I hope. Herman
  6. Rharly, Welcome to the Forum. If you have full extension drawers there should be a black tab on each side of the part of the slide attached to the side of the drawer. I can't remember which but one goes up and the other goes down while pulling on the drawer. If the small roller type drawer you pull the drawer out till it stops, then lift up on the handle end of the drawer and then lift the drawer out. You may have to access the drain lines under the bottom on your cabinet. Some are screwed down and some are not. You may lift the floor up by prying them up with a flat screw driver but another way is to screw a screw into the floor close to the front edge and use it to help pull up the floor. From there you should be able to see most of your plumbing pipes. Hopefully all you have is a loose clamp. If your kitchen sink is in your slide there should be a section of flexible hose to allow the movement of the slide. Hope I have helped. Let us know what you find. Herman
  7. Jerry, Welcome to the Forum. Looking forward to seeing you. Herman
  8. So Blue which one do you need? Cost $0.00 plus shipping. Herman
  9. Blue, I have an old unit. Send me PM and I will give my number to call. Herman
  10. Hassle posted this on April 15th. I wonder if he got in or is still standing out scratching his head.😯 Please folks, when you have a problem andone of our suggestions works let the Forum know. All solutions help others, and besides we all like to know we were right. 😊 Herman

  12. Tom, does your Acadia have a locking steering wheel? Herman
  13. That's great Tom. Looking forward to seeing you and Louise again. Herman

Lets hope this new format helps new folks to participate in and on the Forum.
  15. Sorry Jumper in today's society even Plump is not Politically Correct. We can't even say ,"I just had the juiciest Plump peach" There are so many words that can't be said because someone in another country might be offended. Please don't ask me how I feel because my answer may not be PC. But I would never say anything to a person to intentionally offend them, I was just not brought up that way. Herman
  16. There is going to be a new format for get together. In Indianapolis it will presented as Seminar. Mike, Doug and myself are working on the details now. I will post here when I have the day, Seminar Room number and time. The format will be as an introduction to the Forum and how to navigate and participate. I am hoping for a time when there will be nothing following and we can have an informal social time so those of us currently active on the Forum can visit with each other and possibly answer questions from newcomers. Stand by for details. Herman
  17. After all has been said, hear what Chris said. The deal hasn't been completed between FMCA and Verizon. When it is done there will be a formal announcement on the website and in the magazine with complete information where each and every FMCA family member will have the opportunity to either suscribe or pass it up. So be patient it won't happen til the "plus sized lady sings". (Sorry I must be PC).😊 Herman
  18. Carl, it was a coach with a tag. But you can only see 6 tires, remember the 2 more on the duels. What I didn't see was the imprint with something like "21/16' or "21-16". The closest I saw was a "symbol 213". I also turned the coach down quickly. Many more problems then just the dates on the tires. Herman
  19. Good point Joe. Has anyone tried to stop a vehicle with power brakes from rolling when the engine is off. You almost have to stand on the brake pedal with both feet. Not being that familiar with the AF1, but I do know the M&G. When the bake on the coach is applied the same proportional pressure is applied to the Master Cylinder. It did no have to go through the Power Brake Booster to apply pressure to the Master Cylinder. Many brake system that connects to the brake pedal only satisfies one thing, "It only shows that you have a brake on your tow if ever questioned". I am sorry, any braking system that must be lifted from the trunk put in place, then adjusted and that it might run down your battery and become useless is just my idea of a good system. Sorry, Herman
  20. Question on Michelin tires: Do they have a different way of showing the mfg. date? Was looking at a coach yesterday and couldn't come up with an understandable date code. Or all 6 of the tires had the codes on the inside. Just wondering. Thanks, Herman
  21. Gene, did your new lift come with a 7 pin plug? Did the dealer who sold you the lift do the installation? If so you may want to go back to them. I am not familiar with the Thor Ace. If it has a fuse panel like newer autos there will be a fuse for trailer lights. At the same time I am wondering where on the 7 pin connector is a pin with power. Most trailer connector only have power for stop lights, turn signal and tail lights. None of which are on unless activated or turned on. Puzzled to which pin has power all the time. Herman
  22. Am not sure about installers other than in Athens Texas. I know they do installation at nationals. Give Monty a call at 903-675-2812. He can answer all your questions. Herman
  23. I am also fond of the M&G system. It has worked flawlessly on 4 vehicles for me. Its one drawback is on vehicles where the Master Cylinder can not be moved 4" away from the Power Brake Booster. They do make a unit to be used on coaches without Air Brakes. It has a air pump to activate the cylinder. Like others it will require a charge line between the Tow Vehicle and the Coach. Great Braking system, easy installation, and wonderful folks to work with. Herman
  24. I have a friend with an 1995 Foretravel that blew a bag just as he arrives in Shreveport 2014. Made it to his spot and had it replaced there and has since replaced all of his remaining bags. Thanks for the numbers they will be very helpful in the future. Herman
