  1. Did you see the Bendix move when you bench tested the starter? It could be just stuck on the shaft and not being slung into the fly wheel when the starter is activated. Just a thought. Herman
  2. Wayne, I know what you mean. I traveled I-45 between Dallas and Houston for over 40 year. There was never a time that there wasn't construction on the road. It will never be finished until they develop Transporters like they had in Star Trek. Herman
  3. My G/S Pilot/Flying J card is a "Credit Card'. I swipe it at the pump, put in my code, pump my fuel and shut it down then I get a ticket. When my bill comes in I pay it. Just like a C/C but with a code. Herman
  4. I remember the Thomas Register quite well. Had a complete copy in my office at Montgomery Elevator. I got a new set every three years. The old ones made great booster seats for our shorter employees . Herman
  5. Ours are in the returns and we have the same spun glass. Buy it in a roll at WalMart and cut to size (don't replace then as often as we should). Going to do it today. Herman
  6. I have a question that is probably not answerable. "Why it is always a GROUND that is loose?" ????????? Herman
  7. How much from the two coaches will be going into the King Aire? Now is the time when you look and say, "what did I ever need this and that for?". However for every thing we remove we find something to replace it. Herman
  8. Wayne & DB, na-na-naa, coach is out, I polished it this week (takes several days to do it and guaranteed to rain), loaded, fueled up and ready to hit the road tomorrow for about 6 weeks. Bobbie and I really ready to hit the road. Wayne do everything the doctor tells you to and you should be good to go. Herman
  9. Good luck with the headlight repair and the Ball Joint replacement. With those done you should be good to go in December for your trip. As for Daisy and her going to school with her brother and sister, let us know how that turns out. I have met Daisy and tho very cute she does have a mind of her own and what I remember is that she has a tendency to lead you and Linda not the other way around. Tell her I will have a treat for her in Tucson and she can ride in my cart if she wants to. With the critters on your place sound like you'll need a couple of cats. Really mean cats. We also have an Atomic Clock and we have to change it with the time changes (the radio signal has a hard time getting through our metal building) When and where is the wedding going to take place? And again Congratulations! Herman
  10. dhealey, Welcome to the Forum. Yes sometimes folks wander from the original post. But most of the time they are asked to return to the OP. Did you happen to notice this is a 6 year old posting. And in all that time the OP has only made 3 postings. Keep with us. Herman

    test

I may be naive, but what is the purpose of posting "TEST"? Herman
  12. All insurance cost too much until you need it. Then it is oh so cheap. Herman
  13. DB, now that it's running do you still have the same fault codes? Herman
  14. Miairhead, I have TriMark lock on my coach, 2002 Monaco Dynasty. I have a key fob that when I lock the coach it not only locks and unlocks the door but all the bay doors as well. Herman
  15. Brett, what is a good trailing wind speed for you when sailing? Mike Now hope for a West to East on the return. Herman
  16. D, it's a small cost to change the filter to see if that help (and can't hurt either way) before looking at a fuel pump. Just IMH. Herman (Or it may be just saying please get me to warm weather)
  17. Nice chart. When your temp rises you can always drop down a gear which will increase fan speed and in most cases lower your temp. Herman
  18. j, as has been said before Welcome to the Forum. Being a 2012, what are the conditions of your lens. Are they cloudy? If so they will over time dim your lights. Herman
  19. Lenp, did they catch the Trespasser? Herman
  20. I haven't been to a PPL location in many years. The last was in Houston. What I liked about them then was that there were no sales people right with you. You could view any and all the units you wanted to and if you found one you were interested in then you could ask for a sales person. Last year I was interested in a unit in Cleburne. I sent an email request for information because the pictures of the unit looked good. I got a phone call from a very nice lady that told me about the unit and I mean everything down to the bad awning, non working generator, and on and on. They hide nothing. Herman
  21. I'm now sure if this will help, but see if there is a Inland Truck Parts near by. They have repair shops and help me with my radiator issue. Herman
  22. Sorry Rob, I didn't see where you asked if you needed your Passport to enter Canada. The answer is YES. You will need either your Passport book or your Passport card. Herman

    tires.....

As the Knight said in Indian Jones movie Last Crusade, "You have Chosen Wisely". Herman
  24. Carl, you are so right. With all the room in the water bay that is where you would thank that there would be a nice convenient place for it. Not on my Dynasty, mine is in the fuel bay on the passenger side. Go figure. Herman
