  1. Tim, Sorry but I will disagree with you about using a 30 to 15 amp converter to run an A/C. At most all houses run 14 gauge at most 12 gauge wire on their 15 amp receptacle. IMHO wakury would be asking for trouble. So I will stick to my first statement and say 10 gauge wire from a 30 amp breaker to a RV 30 amp receptacle. I alway lean to the safe and sure side. Just mt thoughts. Herman
  2. Now that the funniest thing I have heard all day. 😂😂😂 Carl flexing 😂😂 Herman
  3. As Brett alluded to DO NOT PLUG INTO A 30 AMP DRYER OUT LET. IT PROVIDES 240 VOLTS. You will need a RV 30 amp receptacle wired with one 30 amp 110 volt Hot leg, one Neutral and one Ground. Herman
  4. As has been said, Welcome to the Forum. The outside of a tire can look perfect while the inside is bad. With 9 year old tires you are living on borrowed time. My advice is replace ALL of the tires NOW for the safety of you and your family. (PLEASE) Herman
  5. The first question is "How far do you need run to plug in?" Also you will need a 30 amp receptacle and breaker to supply power. I hope you weren't planning on using a standard 14 gauge extension cord. You will need a minimum of 10 gauge cord with 30 amp connectors. All of this is assuming your coach is only 30 amp and one A/C. Herman
  6. Hopefully he will come back. He joined 13 hr ago. What Dallas traffic?? Herman
  7. They are called 'The Dallas City Council" 🦃's Herman
  8. Joe although they are quite the same I have run Yokohama's on my 2011 Silverado 1500 and are very pleased with them. I have about 27,000 miles and them and the wear has been good. Those are miles on the speedo but add about 10,000 more towing. I will go with them again when I need to. Herman
  9. But Carl those may cost more but they aren't on the program. Herman
  10. I never heard of Toyo tires and they are not listed in the FMCA offerings. Sorry no they aren't on the FMCA Tire Program. I got them because, IMHO, they are good tires. I have about 15k miles with no issues. Ride is a bit better than GY G670s. Herman
  11. I sent a PM to the OP, but no response yet. Herman
  12. Goodyear G670's have a tendency to wear the outside of the steer tires. I have had good luck with my Toyo's. They wear good and are 1/2 the price of Michelins. Herman
  13. I remember that Joe once said he was once a Volunteer Firefighter. Herman
  14. Bill, have pick up your's yet? Herman
  15. Congratulations are due for two reasons. First on the purchase of this beautiful coach. Second, it is soon to be Carl and Linda Christensen! Congrats on both accounts. Herman & Bobbie
  16. Wayne, our chapter, Lone Star, had a Rally scheduled for Miller Creek this coming April. They contacted us to let us know that they were cancelling the Rally and that they would no longer have Rallies at their park. They are full of snow birds for the winter and very few if any groups have rallies in Texas in the summertime. You are correct it was a nice park and the Rally room was adequate. Lone Star's April Rally, the 16th to the 18th, will now be at Bushman's RV Park in Bullard, Texas Bullard is about 8 mile south of Tyler on US Hwy 69. We would love to have you or anyone else out their that would like to attend. If you would be interested just send me a PM and I will be more than happy to send you the information. So from a swabbie to a jarhead Semper Fi. Herman
  17. Do you have a "Gas Detector"? If so it may have detected an odor and shut off. I had a faulty on once and kept a can of air, the kind for computers, that I would blow into the unit and it would reset the solenoid. I did that till I got a replacement. I think it took me about a year to replace it. Herman
  18. Heidornps, As Carl said, Welcome. Along with the coach information can you send a picture. You know, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Herman
  19. Wakurg, any word from Saint Lucies Tire and Battery? Herman
