Recommendation for inner dually valve stem extensions
hermanmullins replied to gbrawley8's topic in Tires
gbrawley8, Welcome to the Forum. We had 8 new tires put on this year. I had the flexible extensions and the dealer would not put they back on. He did install long valve stems on the inside duels, bent them a bit so they would protrude through the hole in the outside wheel. He then ordered the correct rubber grommets that fit on my particular wheel and had them mailed to my house. The inside duel stem protruded enough for any TPM you want to use. Looks good and the wheel are easier to clean without the flex lines in the way. Again, Welcome. Herman -
Ray, I forgot to say, your key FOB is set to the unit and will work with whatever code you have set. Herman

Ray, Mine is also a 5 slot keypad. (1/2 - 3/4 - 5/6 - 7/8 -- 9/0). Keypad are all the same as how they are configured and for what they look like. Here is how mine is programed. My programming switch is in the arm rest next to the passenger chair. I have to pull out the cup holder, reach down to find the switch and pull it out. It is long enough to get it where you can work with it. TO PROGRAM SYSTEM or TO CHANGE THE MASTER CODE: 1. Locate and press the programming switch. 2. Four rapid beeps will sound. 3. Enter 1119 on the keypad. (This is the keypad outside) 4 Three rapid beeps will sound. 5. Enter the new 3 to 8 digit MASTER USER CODE. (Again on the keypad outside) 6. Wait 5 seconds for 2 rapid beeps. Your new Master User Code is set. 7 Test the new Master User Code. 8. If the new code does not work, repeat steps 1 through 7 CAUTION!!! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DOOR KEYS BEFORE TESTING THE NEW MASTER USER CODE Ray, I hope you are able to use this information.

Thank you for the update on Gary. Our Prayers are still with Gary and his family. Herman

Puff, when we bought our Monaco 13 years ago we changed the key pad code. All I did was pull out the pad and entered our number by the instructions. Our new code over rode the old code. Herman

I have the instructions in the coach and will send you the sheet tomorrow. Herman

Roland, My son, his wife and two sons live in Cheyenne. They have been there for about 20 years. They went to visit her mother in Kearney, NE and decided to visit Cheyenne. Fell in love with it, came home and both gave notice where they each worked, packed up a U-Haul and moved. She did have a job interview the day they arrived and went to work 3 day later. My son took about two weeks to find a job. Since we don't get to see them that often we won't miss our Grandson's 18th Birthday and Graduation (if there is one). My son has a friend from High School that played football and graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie. That would have been about 25 years ago. If it means anything his name was Ross Crum. Sorry for the long answer. Herman

Jay, Welcome to the Forum, Can you post a picture of the TV and Cabinet. That would help a lot. Most TVs are in a cabinet with a frame around the front which is held in with screws. The screws are covered with Buttons. When you removed the buttons the screws are reviled. When the screws are removed be careful because sometime the frame is all that is holding the TV in. But as I said a picture would help. Again, Welcome. Herman

If it helps neither can I. Bad attachment. Herman

txtiger, Thanks for the update. Glad you are up and running. Herman

Your RS sounds great. Ray your said "The wheel and tire warranty covers road hazards if I flatten and damage the wheels." I have heard so many problems with approvals from the RS, how does it work if you have a blow out, heavens forbids on the weekend? Do they contact a service and pay for everything? What if they don't have a service in the middle of Montana? Will they match the tire and rim to what you have? Just wondering, it sounds great. Herman

Now Rare Electrical looks like the way to go if they can match your old motor. Herman

Air leak. Bag, line or valve. Herman
-
Double "T", does it come back to level when you crank up the engine and the air builds up? If yes that as has been said you have a air leak on the right side. If no then it is in your ride height valve. Your coach has three valves. One up front in the middle and two in the rear ,one on each side. The right side valve arm may have slipped or broken or there is an air leak. If you are not comfortable and safe working under the coach then by all means take it to a service center. Herman

This may be a silly question, but could the unit be low on fluid? Herman

Tim, he had reception then he didn't. See above. IMHO he still needs to contact Winegard and get the right tech. Herman

Eric can you send a picture? Herman

Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk
hermanmullins replied to hermanmullins's topic in General Discussion
Will do. Sound like something they tried for the Fair and it went over good. Each year here in Texas they have a contest to see who can come up with the tastiest fried food. One of the best was the Battered and Fried Oreo Cookies. I will look forward to the fried Cheese Curds. Thanks, Herman -
If yours look like this one all you have to do is snap out the clip (shown in Gray in A101) then it pops right off. Herman

Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk
hermanmullins replied to hermanmullins's topic in General Discussion
Richard, a company I once work for had a plant in Decora, Iowa. As we traveled there from Rockford, Illinois we went through Northwest Wisconsin. We stopped at onc the the cheese factories. There I discovered Cheese Curds. They were great with the squeaky feeling when you bit into one. I purchased 5 packages to take home. A week or so after I got home I wanted some Cheese Curds. When I got them out of the refrigerator I found that they had moulded. Do you have any idea how hard it is to cut mould off a Cheese Curd? Herman
