  1. I also have a filter for the ice maker in the fridge. I use the filter housing to run the few gallons that are required by the filter manufacturer. I do this before installing the filters so they are cleared. I do not use a filter on my hose. I relay on the whole house filters to do their job. I don't like to have filtered water sitting in the fresh water tank. That's just me. Herman
  2. Eric, all of the struts I have replaced had a part number on them. That told me the length and lifting weight. Have you tried going to Stabilus website and clicked on their product Lift-o-Mat? You might find a contact there that can direct you. Herman
  3. We have made the trip so many times, I can almost put it on auto pilot and rest most of the way. To avoid large areas we are planning on several routes. Maybe even up through South Dakota. We might even go the Gillette to the CAM-PLEX and park where you and Linda did in 2018, can't get more isolated than that. Herman
  4. Blue Bell was at one time one of the best around. But not so since the reopened that plant after the listeria problem. A good friend of mine, who has over 50 year in the ice cream industry, says that Blue Bell began to put more air in the ice cream to increase the volume which makes for a poorer quality but more money. But I now just watch other eat it to help keep my triglycerides down. (I did have to spell check that word) Herman
  5. I have a extra filter similar to this one. When I need to change the filter (2) in the coach, I will hook this extra filter up a potable water hose, put a new filter in the housing and run several gallons of water through the filter to eliminate having to do it when they are in the coach. Herman
  6. I will try something else. Thanks Herman
  7. How should you wash your hands during these trying times. Herman
  8. We have a Grandson turning 18 and Graduating from High School in May in Wyoming. We will be there if we have to dry camp the whole way. They may not have graduation but we won't miss his Birthday. Herman
  9. Dennis, I removed your phone number. It isn't a good idea to have your number for everyone to see. You will get responses here or they can PM you. What does your washer need fixing? Ours has bad water valves that lets the tank fill. To use it I go outside turn the water on to washer then turn it off till we need to use it again. Splendid says the valve is no longer made. Someday I will find a valve, till then I will turn the water on and off. Good luck getting that board off. By the way you did notice this is a 5 year old post. Herman
  10. Wakury, I am assuming that you don't have a tow bar or anything else. Have you checked Ebay? You should be able to find pre-owned parts there. Lower prices and all you would need is the installation. Another thought would be a tow dolly. You should be able to pick up one for next to nothing. Then all you would need would be a brake system and a light bar. Herman
  11. Kay , might I add to your list a braking system. I am sure the 500 weight more then 1,200 lbs, the maximum in some states for towing without an auxiliary brake of some kind. Herman
  12. I salute each of those that came home from Vietnam and I bow to say a prayer for those that didn't.🙏🏻 Thank you for your service. Herman
  13. My feeling is quite a few from the East may use theirs in Perry while those on the West will use theirs for Gillette. Besides the certificates are good for 3 years. Herman
  14. It be a bit harsh but maybe they need to get another Doctor. One that will give them either 90 days or renewals for 30 days that can be filled by pharmacies that are nationwide. Herman
  15. Right after Bad Back, Bad Knees and Bad Hips. Herman

  18. Golfnut49, Welcome to the Forum. Speak with you Dr. and tell him your situation and ask if he can give you some post dated prescription. Then you can come back to him every three of four months for a consultation Can't hurt to ask. Herman
  19. Could be the gas your are seeing is only from what is in the bowl? It may be showing up with the accelerator pump but not enough fuel to run. That could mean the fuel line is stopped up some where. I never saw where the starter fluid was tried. Herman
  20. For us that's was an hour ago, right now it's Rocky Mountain Time but an hour away at Pacific Time, but hay whose counting. Herman
