  1. I also have the smart wheel and it only took me 7 years to learn how to set the interminite wipers. Herman
  2. Also don't hit my head as often. Herman
  3. One more thing. If you see YELLOW POWDER or SMELL AMMONIA, DO NOT BYPASS THE MODULE. Just unplug the unit move your food to a cooler and be ready to replace the unit. I would recommend a residential. Herman
  4. Please understand it is alway a gamble to bypass the module. There should be three wires on the module. A Brown one going up to the cooling coil. A black 12 volt power wire coming in from the left (it was on my coach) and a third wire, I can't remember the color but it goes to the Main Board. Unplug the wire from the motherboard (Main). Move the Black wire from the module and plug it into the connecter where the third wire was connected. This will supply the power to the unit. If you have a RV dealer that you use at home, you may call him and ask if he can order you a new module. You will have to have you Serial Number from the Norcold 1200. One thing I failed to ask, do you see any Yellow Powder on the cooling coils? If so you unit has failed and a new module will not help. Good Luck, Herman
  5. That it Ben, it take a strong magnet. Good luck, Herman
  6. The Flagstaff area can have a lot of snow in March. Still a great sight to see when you can. Herman
  7. Ben, If you have had both of the Recalls done on your unit then you may have had the small module kick out. You can tell by looking at it. If there is a green light on is is on, if it is red then it has popped. It can be reset by a strong magnet. Take a strong magnet and move it all over the module and the green light should come on and the unit will work. If that is the issue then adding a couple more cooling fans on the back of the unit. The module is to prevent the coil from overheating. Too much heat and the module will cut the unit off. Then it's reset time. Maybe it will stop raining long enough to check the unit out. Good luck and stay dry. Herman
  8. Jim you are not making too many friends right now. Here it was 29 this morning and felt like 19. Herman
  9. Bill it is still a nice looking coach even if the mirrors are upside down. Herman
  10. I use my ICC buttons all the time as you do. I wonder where the Knight of the road have gone? When I signal my intention on pulling back over when passing a truck, 1 in possible 20 will flash the ok. But I still thank them anyway. Herman
  11. CC, try looking at this place, https://www.busforsale.com/home/index.php They have coaches with bunks in all sizes and models. Herman
  12. Will you have it in time for Coffee Creek? I would like to at least put my hand print on it. Beautiful Coach!!! Herman
  13. Now is the time where you ask yourself where did that come from, it still has the tag on it? 😯 Herman
  14. Glad you are on the road to fixing the door. IMHO If it had been me I would have checked with as many RV dealers as I could. There have been so many Norcold 1200 replaced someone might have had a door you could buy from a scrapped unit. Herman
  15. Ookpik, Welcome to the Forum. I myself have no idea what you speak of. So fi we could get a bit more information such as Make, Year & Model RV you are talking about someone with the same unit may had your same issue but just doesn't know the part number. Thanks and again Welcome Herman
  16. Jim, several year ago I changed out both of our TVs for Flat Panel units. On the front tv I cut the box back by 7 inches. The new TV is secured by "L" brackets and 4 long all thread bolts. I have been in the cabinet several times and each time the nuts holding the TV tight are still tight. Herman
  17. Ccallaway, Welcome to the Forum. I am going to have to digest what you would like to do. Are you planning on buying a truck large enough to pull a 5th wheel large enough for your family of 5, take a trip for year then sell both? Or doing the same with a motorhome? Have You considered the cost of such an adventure? Just questions to consider. Herman
  18. Kay, Bill's SPELL CHECK has a mind of it's own. What Bill was referring to is the Rally at Coffee Creek RV Park in Santos, Texas that the South Texas Renegades Chapter is having there on March 12-14, 2020. And yes we will be going there as it is on our way to Tucson. Good and Active Chapter. Herman
  19. We are going to Tucson but we have to be there on the 20th. Hope to see you there. Herman
  20. Puff, Congratulations on the new coach. My coach doesn't require DEF but I have seen lots of comments here on the Forum about Bulk DEF at stations. Most are not good and all recommend buying it in 2.5 gallon containers. I also understand it does have a shelf life, sorry I don't know how long. Again Congratulations. Herman
  21. Thanks Mark, I am not familiar with the Ford chassis but several on the Forum are. You should get some great help soon. Herman
  22. I changed out my Nevercool for a residential unit about 4 year ago. I had the doors from the old unit all this time. About 5 months ago I cleaned out the shop and all 4 of the doors went to the dump. I would have been happy to give them to you. Sorry. Herman
