  1. Jar, Give RV Glass Solutions a call. They are in the magazine. They speclize in RVs. They will work with your insurance and have the windshield sent to service center close to you that knows RVs. Great folks. Herman
  2. Kirk, Welcome to the Forum. Did the coach sit for a long time without a lot of driving? Just thinking you may have some old gas. Have you tried adding a fuel conditioner? I would try adding a double of the recommended amount and drive the coach. Also just to be sure of how it was maintained I would change the fuel filter. Herman
  3. Just one of those crazy english spelling. Silent "O". Herman
  4. I use a home made "J" hook hold all three doors securely. Herman

    Air Filter

That's what he get for having that High Dollar American Eagle. Glad he was able to find one. Herman
  7. As has been stated. Size on all fronts. Measure your opening, height, width an depth. Then find a unit that fits within those measurements. I would suggest looking at a Samsung since they work on both pure and modified sine wave inverters and draw very little amps. Next check the size of your inverter. You will need a 2,000 watt min. Then check the available amps in your battery. As I said it's all about size. Good luck and ask if you need more help. Herman

    Air Filter

Did Five ever get the Part Number for his DD13 Air Filter? Herman
  9. Rich, I have air leveler only. I always dump the air, then start the auto level. With our last coach I had jacks but would also dump the air then start the auto leveling. In doing this the Jacks don't have so far to level. Just the way I did it. Herman
  10. Kay, I know you aware of it but Jacks for Safety. Would hate to see a picture of your feet coming out from under the Bus. Herman

  14. TT, I have found that if I am in tall grass or the woods one thing that will wart off Chiggers and Ticks is Sulfur. I keep a sock with Sulfur in it in a zip lock bag. when needed I just dust my shoe, ankles and trouser with it. Works for me, haven't had a Tick or Chiggers in a very long time. Herman

    Slow Air Leak

I have extender on all four tiers on the rear. They work well when installed properly and secured so as they won't flop around. Glad you caught it and didn't have an issue on the road. Herman
  16. Now that is different. Nice job it looks good. Herman
  17. I would do SR 7 in my truck in a heartbeat. Beautiful trip. In my Motor Home, no way. From Hot Springs to Russellville bad. Russellville to Harrison there are at least three runaway lanes. Really bad. I would take 70 out of Hot Springs to Little Rock then I-430 North to I-40. I-40 West to Conway. Then Hwy 65 to Harrison. Herman
  18. I handled all of the Warranty Claims for a boat Dealer. Which I agree has a different mind set. Here is how the Boat dealer worked. We were dealers for Skeeter and Champion Bass boats with OMC, Mercury and Yamaha engines. There were certain guidelines for payment. If you qualified by meeting all of the requirements you were paid at the standard Flat Rate. I had to request replacement parts for what we used. Both the labor and parts were credited to our account and deducted from you statement. I did have to review all statements to be sure we received credit. On any part that was supplied with their product but not manufactured by them had to be returned before credit was issued. Plano Marine was and is still considered one of the most reputable dealer in the industry and know far and wide that if you had an issue that was under warranty on matter where you purchased your unit, you would be taken care of in the order where you came in. We gain many new customer in doing so. I can't understand this in the RV industry. Treat a customer fair and you will gain a customer for life. Treat them like second class folks and the negative publicity will follow them forever. Herman
  19. If you know what your route will be, get out your map and see which towns you are likely to pass through. Then go to rvpaksreview.com and check out Nat. or State Parks, campgrounds or resorts along the way. Herman
