  1. I sent the Poster RVPAGE a PM and asked them what they meant but have not gotten a response. Herman
  2. F405255 = Edward & Rae Molinsky Shawsbury, PA I went straight to the Members Directory and got the Name. However if an F # hasn't payed their dues the name will not appear. FYI once a F number has been issued it will never be used again unless a son, daughter or grandchild register and they may use the number but their plaque will have the designation of "S, D, GS or GD" on it. Herman
  3. Paul, If your's is like mine the detector is mounted on the under side of a cabinet beside the bed. You may remove the bottom of the cabinet by prying up the carpeted bottom board. There you will find all of the wiring for you detector, both positive and ground. It may just be a loose ground. Good luck, Herman
  4. Kay, when you got to the Dashboard scroll down to "Membership Directory". There you will be able to search by F#, name, even location. Give it a try. Herman
  5. Contact an auto upholstery shop, they glue headliners to fiberboard everyday. Herman
  6. Bill, We have all been there, done that and most of have Tee Shirt to prove it. Hope he didn't charge too much. Herman
  7. Some time when replacing the solenoid the wrong one is installed. It has to be a continues solenoid, not a starter solenoid. Herman
  8. Roland, One thing you might try is to hook up you tow vehicle to the coach, remove the pin, be sure the brake is set on the coach and back up the to vehicle. It may take as bump or jerk but the tow bar should come out. Herman
  9. I had a tire repaired some time ago where they used a plug with a patch on it. It looked like a mushroom. The plug was pulled through from the inside and filled the hole while the patch part covered the hole. They said they liked a plug to prevent water penetration to the steel band. Sounded good to me. Herman
  10. I also agree with Kay, however I would do it at a Truck Tire Shop where if it does loose air it can be repaired right there. Not a good idea to do it where you would have to move the coach if it starts to loose air. Herman
  11. I make a concoction of my own. Lots of folks think is may be OK other not so. If you want the recipe send me a PM and I will give it to you. Herman
  12. The FMCA Forum is the site of choose for me. iRV 2.com is OK but I know most folks here and it cover topic of interest to me. I do not care for RVillage.com. There is too much of asking where are you, what are you doing. Just too much personal and hardly any tech questions. Just IMHO. Thanks for asking Smithy. Herman
  13. ptblood, Welcome to the Forum. Have on fear after the first 50 it or so becomes a breeze. You will enjoy it. There are several thing other then just parking. like driving a pilot car where you lead coaches to the area where they are to be parked and staging where you direct the coaches to the line they belong such as 30 amp, 50 amp or Will Call where the coaches pick up their packets. So come enjoy and have fun. Herman
  14. Bill Fighter, Check out your power cable in your Automatic Transfer Switch. See if you have 110 volts on both legs. Also how does it work with the Generator. Does it have power on both legs then? Herman
  15. I'm sorry but test what? Herman
  16. Mine is in an overhead cabinet in the bed room. Do you show no power on one leg? Had an issue recently and found a cable issue. Replaced the plug. Herman
  17. Gary, Do you have anything under your current refrigerator ? Herman
  18. It is just IMHO your Jeep should be alright. I would go with a quality Tow Bar and Base Plates, not something with just a lower price. Herman
  19. Bill, I think we have a bunch of 8 Tracks that will work in your system. Herman
  20. I would suggest a full set. A 15 to 55 and maybe larger. If you haven't bought any dry wall screws, they are now Torx Drive. They include a driver bit in each box. I know the drive system well. I sold they in 1969 through 1972. Great system. I introduced the screw to Lufkin Trailers for their floor boards. Herman
  21. Nice looking place. Shame you can't return for the summers. Herman
  22. Bill, As has been said, Welcome to the Forum.Happy that you found a good place to have your coach serviced. If you use them for all of your normal service, they will have all the records if you have troubles down the road. Herman
  23. Ross, If I know the Governing Board it will drag on until it gets close to 4 or 4:30 then move like lightening. It shouldn't be too bad this year, very little is on the calendar. We will hold a set for you. Herman
  24. Carl, He is still in Weatherford but he did move.If I remember he said that he still does the work at his shop but has move his residesnt. I know he doesn't do carpet but not sure about tile. Herman
