  1. Bill, As has been said, Welcome to the Forum.Happy that you found a good place to have your coach serviced. If you use them for all of your normal service, they will have all the records if you have troubles down the road. Herman
  2. Ross, If I know the Governing Board it will drag on until it gets close to 4 or 4:30 then move like lightening. It shouldn't be too bad this year, very little is on the calendar. We will hold a set for you. Herman
  3. Carl, He is still in Weatherford but he did move.If I remember he said that he still does the work at his shop but has move his residesnt. I know he doesn't do carpet but not sure about tile. Herman
  4. I am just curious, how much does a cover weigh to cover a 40 foot motorhome, TT or Fifth Wheel? And how do you get it up on top to cover the unit? I'm not trying to be funny I would really like to know. Herman
  5. R. LeBlanc, Not in Vegas but we have Erniee her on the Forum that does nothing but RV flooring. However he is in Weatherford, Texas. One of the Best. Herman
  6. Pet are welcomed at all Rallies. Is is best if you have power and are able to keep your pet cool with A/C when the weather is Warm. They must be on a leash and under control when outside. I see may dog walking their owners all the time. I keep doggie treats with me in my golf cart all the time and have made friends with quit a few of them. But to have them with you when entering any building for vendors or entertainment or such, they must be certified as a "Service Animal". Bring your pets but "PLEASE PICK UP AFTER THEM." Thank you, Herman
  7. Welcome, I just checked the FMCA Towing Guide (on the FMCA homepage click on "Magazine then select Towing Guide then select the year). It states that the Buick Lacrosse in both All Wheel and Front Wheel Drive are towable 4 down. It has a 65 MPH limit. Herman
  8. Lyle, Just to let you know your Topic went in twice and I deleted one of them. Most tire manufacturers have a chart that will tell you the pressures to run in your tires. Brett correct me if I am wrong , but I believe you use the heaver of the two tire on an axle for the weight for PSI to run.

  11. I see where inspections are necessary where the heaviest wire are such as the ATS and the Inverter. But one place the is overlooked is your power cable. More especially in the molded plugs. I had a power cord that would work on one coach but not on another coach. I inspected both ends and heat had done a deed on both ends. Most all electrical shorts are cause by loose are bad connections. So as Brett said Inspect. (ole adage "an ounce of prevention.... ") Herman
  12. Sorry but no you are correct, it is 7 years old. Rich said that he was slowing down a bit, but 7 years? Herman
  13. Carl, Give it a day or two to dry out and then check again. This should tell you if the rain caused the problem or there is a short somehwere. Herman
  14. Ken, Now there is one I haven't before. Herman
  15. Is anyone interested in getting together in Gillette? Last time in Perry had very few folks there. I will have a social at my coach if you'll would like. I can post my location on the 12th the day I arrive. Is Tuesday afternoon the 17th say 4:00 pm, all right with everyone? It will be before any activities begin. Bring chairs and your choice of beverages. Herman
  16. Rich, You know I like you. But you have way too much time on your hands. Herman
  17. Hank, I use my MiFi for the internet only. I don't make calls through it nor do I stream movies. I have not had any issues whatsoever with ours. My fife and I both have Smart Phones and she uses it for Facebook however I do not. Good for what I use it for. Herman
  18. Roger, take the number you have, go to WalMart put the number in and see what price you find. If you are changing your pump you can up grade if you like. Herman
  19. Welcome to the Forum. Would have to see the unit to offer any ideas. I would suggest calling Monaco but since the bankruptcy and several buy outs there aren't any of the old timers still there. Good luck, hope you find a solution. Herman
  20. It will have to be a DP since gas coaches do not have step covers. Look directly under the step cover. You should have several screws that hold the mechanism.See if that will allow it to come out so you can repair it. Herman
  21. Don, Welcome to the Forum. Hwy 160 going East out of Pagosa Spring you will encounter Wolf Creek Pass going to South Fork. I think 11,000 ft. but is not to bad. I did it about 4 years ago in my 40 footer towing a Yukon. Herman
  22. RBard48, Welcome to the Forum. Sound like you found the vehicle that fit your needs. Thanks for sharing. Herman
  23. khutton, When you have your coach stored for 4 to 6 weeks is it stored with power plugged in? If so then your inverter was helping keep everything charged. The best way to insure that the gremlins don't drawdown you power when stored for a long time is to disconnect your battery cables. If both the house and the chassis battery are fully charged and the negative cables are off you should be OK. Herman
  24. Just thinking. Would plumbers tape protect the threads for Galvanic Corrosion while seiling for leaks and helping when removing? Herman
  25. Mine were from a 1998 BMW 528i, Monaco wanted $368.00 for one. By using the number on the unit I found them on line for $128.00 for the pair with no tax or freight. Rich the numbers will help in the search of who made their head light units. Thanks, Herman
