  1. Sorry, not a coffee drinker. Still hopes the OP returns. There are plenty of folks willing to help.
  2. If I was the OP I would likely not return based upon the first response. Just me, the way I saw it. Why grill the OP about whether he's a member, or chapter member, etc. Thought I would try to soften the response. I do hope we hear from the OP again.
  3. I said most! Like year and chassis. Likely all else that was needed was something like 40KD. No matter, hopefully the OP will return.
  4. Bluetooth and cellular internet have nothing to do with each other. Without cellular you have no way of using any of the services offered by On-Star. I don't believe they are a per minute cost these days but rather a data package with which you can contact On-Star or make phone calls. Not terribly expensive but likely no longer necessary as all the same services are available via your smart phone.
  5. I bought Universal Battery AGM's when my 10 year old Lifelines seemed to be holding less and less capacity. The UB brand is Chinese but about 1/2 the cost of the Lifelines. They are not as heavy so maybe not so robust, but I have already had them for 5 years and they are doing great. Dollar of dollar and year for year I am now at the same cost per year as the Lifelines and any life beyond now is money saved.
  6. 2007 Winebago Tour answers most of the questions Herman.
  7. Not sure why you are addressing me. I only said that if you want to get ANY use out of your OnStar service you need a cellular connection to be available.
  8. OnStar still uses cellular so if there is no cellular you still won't have service.
  9. I know wet cells are cheap but I sure would go with AGM's.
  10. Replacing the tires on a dual wheel axle with wider tires can be a serious safety issue. The tire/wheel spacing is already close and if the wider tires are able to touch from time to time when hitting bumps and uneven payment it can lead to early and disastrous results.
  11. This is what I call it: hoose·gow ˈho͞osɡou/
  12. Mom's passing was terribly sad but finally putting her beside Dad was a great day. Very few tears shed. I was just a celebration of her life. She had been married to a troll of a husband for over 20 years. He did not even have any interest in coming to the burial. We are all very happy that she is out of that situation and back with Dad. Thanks for you your comments. It's quite a family!
  13. While I don't qualify under this category, most every other male on both sides of the family do. Last week we buried my Mom next to my Dad at Arlington National. Dad died over 30 years ago at 63 and it was a great blessing to finally be able to have Mom join him there (getting that done nearly took an act of Congress but that's another story). Mom and Dad lay in rest about 20 feet from her Dad, Adm. Smedberg (Captain of USS Iowa when it was recommissioned and former Superintendent of the Naval Academy later). Directly above Grandads grave is his fathers grave and about 20 yards away is my Mom's brother. Mom's youngest brother is 82 but will be buried there as well. I assume my brother, retired Navy Seal and then Doctor with Army Special forces, will end up there as well. This is all within steps of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was a very special day and just makes you smile and thank everyone involved for their service!
  14. I don't do it that way but I still get a line above the topics that says "(check mark) Mark site read" This appears in the top right and bottom right of every topic I visit. In the upper right you would have "reply to topic" and above that "follow" and above that (check mark) Mark site read". At the bottom right corner of every page I see the "(check mark) Mark site read" option.
  15. There is a way to empty your tanks (for a fee) at most rallies. As mentioned above you want to come in with your fresh tank FULL and your black/grey tanks EMPTY. That's all you can do. There is usually no free fresh water and no free dump once you are in place so conservation is the key word here. You can get water and you can get someone to come and clean out your holding tanks but it's not cheap. If you are only there 3 days you should be fine if you just think about your water usage. Showers need to be very short and you need to ensure you only have water running when you need to wet or rinse something. It's hard at first but the more you do it the better you get at it. I am not a fan of conservation so I pay and pay and pay. That's what's nice. You can save or pay but both options are perfectly OK.
  16. Metric tires tend to be easier to find so I am not sure your desire to move to (my tire) 12R 22.5 is going to be your best option. I have them, I live with them but when I try to replace them it's usually quite a struggle. If I had the money I would change out the wheels and put the somewhat larger metric tires and be done with my 12R 22.5 problems.
  17. Was this done as part of a paid road service that he subscribed to? If the Co. will not respond I am sure his lawyer can get a response.
  18. I pay over $500/year here in TX. Sounds like you have a pretty good deal! Virginia adds personal property tax that costs thousands of dollars per year for an RV.
  19. ^^^^^^^^ This is why I love this guy!
  20. You say you have a rough ride. Have you had a 4 corner weighing done on the coach and adjusted the tire air pressure accordingly? If you have the tires inflated to the numbers on the sidewalls you likely have some of the tires over inflated. With that said, I went from a 19,000 # entry level DP to a 40,000 # Prevost. My ride was never bad on the 19,000 pounder but the difference between the 2 while driving in the wind is stunning.
  21. You can do the same thing with Google Maps if you need to save data. Download the area you plan to travel before you go and like is OK. I say OK and not Good as using Google Maps without data will not give you updated traffic information which I really like having available.
  22. Lake Pleasant RV park, Bothel, WA. The tent might be a problem but give them a call.
  23. That would be Google Maps or WAZE. Do the research before you go to determine where you want to go and then use these tools to get you there. Cost? ZERO! Only this kind of web based service can give you current, up-to-date, information and dramatically more than any available for a stand alone GPS. All of the GPS units suffer from limited and out of date information and that part of the equation will never change unless the companies change the way they do business.
  24. You would do much better with this setup for less than $100. http://www.outsideourbubble.com/secure-private-rv-wi-fi-and-making-a-better-park-connection-for-under-100
  25. Why did you have to change the address?
