  1. I have replaced two rear top hats traveling down the road. Expensive to the the hat and the nut. I now check mine but I don't have that wrench. I use a very large plumber's pliers with the slip jaws. Fits nice and I can tight them - just a little snugger than hand tight.
  2. Or buy a realtor's key box and hookit around the gas compartment or some other place.
  3. A 1911A1 Colt 45 ACP has magazines you can purchase that exceed your expectations. Magazines Ans a lot of other handguns.
  4. I added a link to my previous post.
  5. Well gee Joe, They are to keep the rain out, right? Oh, wait, they drain water. My bad.😀 Yep, Atwood made the ones for our Wbgo. Just remember y'all, they have right hand ones and left hand ones for the different sides. They are not expensive. This Amazon link is to show the picture. Notice that one side is tapered. That is why they have right and left hand sides. They just clip on with the tapered side toward the front. Weep Hole Cover
  6. I have a very robust anti-virus and malware suite on this computer plus Web Of Trust (WOT). I don't have any problem with that site. I am using Firefox 77.0.1 (64 Bit) as my main browser. As suggested, try another browser.
  7. Yep, meant weep, not week! Sheesh! Dumb fingers don't know where the keys are. I know Winnebago has covers for the weep holes and right handed for one side and left for the other. They probably would fit other models. Here is a link to some Weep Hole Cover Images
  8. Maybe week holes in side windows?
  9. I used to have my wife wash it, then the kids told her to stop as she was in her 70's. Now it get's done once or twice a year by a mobile washing company. Darn kids!
  10. Yep! Keep speed down to engage lower gear. Typically exhaust brakes are set to downshift to 2nd gear. The Allyson transmission will not go directly to that gear if the speed is up but will downshift to the next lowest gear depending on your speed. As you are descending a hill the momentum will cause you to speed up. Let's say the speed limit is 65 and as you go down the hill you are up to 70 or 72. Apply the brakes, slow down to 60 or so and let the exhaust brake work for you. as it speeds up repeat the process. I know when the momentum will speed up the vehicle so I apply my brakes to slow down to about 10 or so mph under the limit and as it speeds up I repeat the process. Many times you know the hill exists so downshifting when you get to the top and start down is always good. I have found that typically 4th gear is good but I have even gone down to 2nd gear on some grades. Yep, slows you down to 20-25 and people will fly by you but that is better than heating the brakes up and have them fail. Happened to my FIL once and he had to exit a run-away landing. He said it wasn't fun.
  11. COVID19 has put a lot of people working from home, or not working at all in order to prevent the spread. Shipment centers are affected more so than other businesses. Just sayin'.
  12. Well, Mike was talking about a handgun and I provided a link for him. Now, I don't know of any states, well maybe Calif., that prohibit a shotgun. It would be safe to carry a standard shot gun, NO sawed off barrel. You do what you feel you have to do but remember that after discharging any weapon you may be subject to criminal penalties. The judge will decide, and he will decide on anyone carrying where they are not supposed to carry. I'm sure you are aware of that.
  13. A couple more turns on that plug and the threads will be inside with the oil.
  14. MIke, This is the best I can give: Traveling with handguns It is not black and white, just convoluted. Safe passage is guaranteed but law enforcement does not always abide by the safe passage law. The link gives a lot of information.
  15. So amazing. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Yep, I've done the same with my ATT MiFi. Great little devices.
  17. MiFi's work the same way and I'd guess the Verizon Jet pack is a MiFi.
  18. Yes, I have a D-Link also but it still needs a WiFi connection. D-Link is a good camera and if you get the right one you can swivel it remotely for other views of the MH. If the WiFi is the phone Hot Spot then it will not work when you are away from the MH as the Hot Spot will be out of range. A dedicated WiFi/MiFi is needed to access cameras.
  19. Ring comes to mind. I have their system here at the S&B and it works well. You do need wifi service though. Their cameras are great with a wide field of view. Set up the app on your mobile phone and monitor away... It would be better to have a dedicated wifi if you travel around a lot. Setting up the devices with campground wifi could be unsettling to say the least, and then there are those CG's that have weak wifi or none at all. Herman gave good advise and there are other services out there.
  20. Run to Lowe's and get some LIquid Tape. After cleaning the connectors and after getting the steps working use the liquid tape to seal the contacts. It applies with the applicator brush that comes with the can. Great stuff. There are several reasons why your steps are not working. Jammed, broken tooth on step pawl, broken tooth inside step motor, bad step motor, low or no voltage, broken ground wire from motor to chassis ground and usually a separate wire than being in the harness. So many possibility. Start trouble shooting and call Lippert Customer Support.
  21. Now Ray, let me tell you a little story: You do know that when getting ready to go somewhere, anywhere, that the husband is always ready first. Then he sits around waiting on his dear wife. Well, as I got dressed to the hilt I walked to where 'she' was getting ready and said, "How do I look?" She replied, "You're wearing that!" and I said, "What?" "That tie," she replied, "Does not go with that shirt." So we go to where I have the ties and she picks one out for me and I diligently replace the one I'm wearing. Several eternities later she comes out of the "get ready" room and asks, "How do I look?" NOW I'M THE GUY THAT CAN'T EVEN PICK OUT THE RIGHT TIE AND SHE IS ASKING ME HOW SHE LOOKS. Do you know how I answered? I said, "You look great!" See, 59 years of togetherness can soften the man
