  1. Guess I never really paid attention to it. Must be because I'm right all the time.?
  2. Edit is only good for so long then it goes away. I'll just pester Brett if it is wrong. Might even blame him for....well, we'll see,
  3. As you go higher or lower in altitude the pressure will increase or decrease 0.48 psi and the PSI will Increase/decrease 2.0 psi for every 10 degrees of temperature change. Let's assume your max tire pressure is 110 psi and your minimum load weight pressure is 90 psi. A fudge factor of 10 psi would make the minimum load weight 100 psi. If you go from sea level to 10,000 feet altitude you would raise 4.8 psi and with the 90 to 40 degree change in temperature you would drop 10 psi for an overall psi change of 5.2 psi. With the fudge factor of 10 psi you would still be within your minimum required load pressure. You can do the math for the inverse situation. I always set my tire pressure between the max the tire allows and the minimum required for the load. If you do not have the four corner weights then run max tire pressure allowed and be safe, only adjusting as needed when you get to your destination. There are other scenarios, I'll bet, and the closer the minimum and maximum tire pressures are, the less of a fudge factor is available. Tireman9, Roger, please correct me if this is not correct and I'll ask for the post to be removed.
  4. Only time will tell. Could go either way.
  5. Funny, I've seen Prevost's in a Junction City repair facility - it was next to us in the electric only parking area. No on manufacturer is without some problem, some time. Yes, I do realize Prevost and MCI are chassis configured as a motorhome, but in the RV world when you mention on of those names it automatically connotes motorhome.

    Safe-T-Plus

Besides better steering stability, with the previous one I had you could take a front wheel off and still steer - according to some videos. They showed cement trucks, popping a front tire and still having full control. I don't know if they have a video on the IFS Safe-T-Plus but when I get home in October I'll be ordering one. Anyone in the Atlanta area can go to their factory and they will install it.
  7. I have mixed emotions. My last Winne did not fare to well construction wise, whereas the present one is holding up well, knock on wood. It could also go the other way combining different good construction aspects from each into the other. I really hope it improves both lines. If they keep the present factory policies nothing will change. They all have problems, even the Prevost. Additional Link

    Safe-T-Plus

Whoopie! From Safe-T-Plus "Safe T Plus is pleased announced its newly engineered Safe T Plus Steering Control unit and mounting hardware kit for the ZF Independent Front Suspension chassis." Happy trails!
  9. According to their web site, motorhome and additional vehicle are covered, FMCA Roadside Assistance When you called you got the first person out of the barrel that most likely didn't know what they were doing.
  10. CiskHG, we are talking about the discounts for the TSD Logistics EFS Card and typically Loves has a $0.40 discount. Some stations have less but TSD has a web site (with password) that states what each participating Loves prices are. Not all Loves will offer that discount.
  11. Stop engine light because of low coolant. Got towed to Cummins. It was a broken wire in the engine harness. GS tow was 40 miles. I asked the tow operator what it would have cost me and he replied, "$750."
  12. Looks like the boat motor is higher than 13'6" or am I just seeing a different angle.
  13. TA/Petro have between $0.30 to $0.40 a gallon on average. PFJ only has about a $0.05 cent discount so the PFJ card is the better deal. Love's is about the same as TA/Petro - not much difference that I can see based on today's rates.
  14. Used the TSD (EFS Card) for the first time at a Love's station. Pump showed $97 and when I received my bill it was $80. Saved $16 and TSD took out 10% of savings for $1.60 in fees. I'll keep using it. Loves gives the best discounts. Anyone that is signed up with them will stop receiving the daily email on prices. It is now on their web site.
  15. I don't plan on using the insurance policy on any of my belongings, but I have insurance. I have used auto insurance in the past. Sure glad I had it. Used it for the house also. Yep, paid in a bunch to Progessive for my 2008 MH. In 2017, hurricane Harvey claimed it, and Progressive paid me what paid me what I paid for it Glad i had the insurance. The people I have met in person or on this forum is also worth the little extra 7 cents a day.
  16. For a little over $0.205 (20 and 1/2 cents), I'm not sure I would go broke for all of what FMCA has to offer. Let's see. Present rate $50 or 13 cents a day. so for about 7 cents more a day people are going to give it up. Okay, but I really don't understand the reason why someone would give it all up for 7 cents a day..
  17. Herman, Yes, that was my point. They do not list every piece of wood work. The trim is not that much on the fireplace. I would rather have a professional or someone that knows a lot about wood work pull the trim off. I don't believe they used any glue, just a pneumatic brad gun. The heads are extremely small so thinking brads. Problem is that once the trim is off, the brads will still be stuck to the underlying wood/structure. Might be easy to re-align and press it back on - again - not for me to do. The fireplace, according to Mfg, glass can be removed just removing the screws on the front. Don't know about entire fireplace. Bill, They have all of their installation/instructions/wiring diagrams on-line and easy to get to. If on a Windows machine the drawings are even in 3D,
  18. Bill, Manuals and bags of paper works do not describe Winnebago's many installations on various RV's. Best I can ascertain from calling is that the molding does have to be removed. Was wondering if anyone had done that and how hard was it to take off and put on the molding.

    Bio Diesel?

According to Federal regulations, BIO Diesel of 5% or less does not have to be labeled. Just assume it has 5% on any pump not labeled.
  20. I'm interested in this but not because the fireplace is out, the glass is filthy and it is on the inside. I'd like to clean the glass.
  21. I hope you kept two magnets from coming together and your fingers out of the way.
  22. Just one question. Where do you get the paper wrappers to smoke all that stuff?
  23. Tomorrow is pork chops cooked by friends here at Little Farm on the River, Rising Sun, IN. Other sides, green beans, kohlrabi and onions sauteed in a heavy cream sauce, and who knows what else may come up. Yesterday I fixed clam chowder for us and friends. Ummm! Goooooood!
  24. Call them direct. Roger and Clair are great to work with. Phone: 336-753-0905
