I agree with Brett, it would be a shame to spend a lot of money (out of pocket) moving it to find out it is totaled. Bill

Welcome to the forum. What thermostat do you have now? Why do you need to replace the thermostat? What make are the air conditioners? Bill

Lloyd. Sorry for your situation. Is everyone ok? What does your insurance company say? Bill

Welcome to the forum. I would start with the current towable list. https://www.fmca.com/images/stories/pdf/2019Towables-Updated_FRV0119.pdf Bill

East to West, southern Canada
wildebill308 replied to oscarpower's question in Destinations/Attractions
DD those are great but on the east side. The OP is talking about going west from as far east as Sault St Marie, UP. Jocelynn Wirshing-Power, I would recommend the Sault St Marie, UP crossing. I would take a day trip to Mackinac Island on the way up to the UP. Interesting area and I had a local explain "it isn't the UP till you cross the bridge". From there I would just follow the Maple leaf of 2 The Trans Canada Highway. Bill- 17 replies

Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk
wildebill308 replied to hermanmullins's topic in General Discussion
Well I got my confirmation on where we will stay before going into Minot. We will be at Fort Stevenson State Park. It is about 45 miles from Minot. We plan on leaving here on or about the 23 of July. Going to Amarillo, then Raton Pass with a side trip to Philmont then to The Rocky Mountin National park then wander towards Minot. After that West. Bill -
This in itself would be reason enough for me to look at different makes. Bill

I have read all the responses in this thread and I want to go back to your first question. First I would you take a deep breath and not get to excited by the coach the salsman is trying to sell you. It is nice but it may not be the best one for you. Have you driven a Newmar yet? I would try to find a Fortravel to test drive. Just to give you a better feeling for how different coaches drive. Back to the towing the jeep question. I don't think you will be able to tell it is back there unless you see it in the rear view camera. Bill

That is about right. some coaches run a little cooler some a little warmer. I wouldn't get to worried till the temps get over 250. Keeping the radiator stack clean will help. Bill
-
You have to be careful when going bigger. My coach started with the 255 80 22.5 and now has 275 80 22.5 and I am at the max I can run. Bill

sbuck98, welcome to the forum. The schooners sound interesting. Bill

I think the big takeaway for new people should be. Don't buy a coach based on the size requirements of a few campgrounds. There are always other places. Bill

Compare them to your originals to see what the difference are. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Bill

Let's not forget those who gave everything so we can have so much. This includes first responders who run toward danger not away. Bill

Speck, on page 30 of the manual that Jim linked to tells how to read the codes and what they mean. Let us know what you find. Bill

Illinois motor fuel tax violation

Remember they have a short "warm" season to work in. Most of the NE is like that with lots of bridge and road projects. Bill -

That and the signs telling you the road is rough. Realey, why not just fix the road/potholes. Bill -
I was there about a month ago. We camped in Freeport and drove down to the Kittering area for some shopping and lunch. Where were you? Bill

I was here 10 days ago. https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/me/freeport/04032?cm_ven=localwx_10day Back in Ft Worth and it is definitely warm. Bill -
Like Brett said "first find out if your batteries are being charged." If they are you are done. If they are not being charged let us know and we can offer a simple fix. Where are you now? Is the coach plugged in? Bill

You might want to go re read my first post and the OP hasn't responded to what he likes. Many people consider Freeport a major attraction with at least 83 outlet stores and is home to LLBean. Bean is a great store for those who like to shop at off peak hours as it is open 24/7. You can walk in at 2 in the morning and there will be someone to great you and ask if they can help. So just for you I will add a couple outher things/places of interest like Bradbury Mountain State Park, Route 9, Pownal, ME 04062, 207-688-4712. Desert of Maine 95 Desert Rd, Freeport, ME 04032, Yes they have sand dunes in Maine. The Fire Department Museum, 2 Main St. Freeport, ME 04032.
