  1. I have ben west several times with the coach since I retired. When planning I use 50 mph as a standard/average. It is hard to make suggestions without knowing what you are interested. Really there are years worth of things to see and do going west. Like Joe said it depends on the time of the year what route you take. For starters you can just get on the Mass pike and go west. That will take you to Seattle.😄 Start with what have you seen or want to see along that route? Have you been to the Falls? Have you been to the Corning Glass museum? Have you been to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn? Mount Rushmore,Custer's last stand, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Glacier National Park. If you don't want to go to the coast you can drop south to Utah and see all the parks there. Arches, Canyonlands (all 3 sections) Zion. I liked Golden Spike National Historical Park. They have the same engines that were there that run up the track and reenact the meeting of the railroads. All that and the coast to. No seriously did I get carried away? I haven't commented on I-70, I-40 or I-10 then you have the main north south roads.😁 Bill
  2. Look at Dinosaur Electronics. They make a number of boards. https://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/ Bill
  3. Tim, beautiful coach. They are out there if you look. How was the trip home? Bill
  4. I would just install drip rails to keep it off the side of the coach and away from places like over the door. Bill
  5. That tank suspension system is more prevalent in trailers, but there is a distinct lack of quality across the board. Bill
  6. Help me out here, what part of my suggestion is not "permanent"? I think you should go buy the Tiffin Allegro Bus you want and then you can come back and ask about how to clean the clogged drain lines. 😁 Bill
  7. I agree with you. Glad you got it fixed. Bill
  8. That is a good one. Look at the one I have in my signature. Bill
  9. The slide outs can wait. Take care of your wife we wish her a full and speedy recovery. Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. I just adjust the level so it runs off the back left side. Bill
  11. Cleaning and polishing are nice. BUT (big BUT) if the flame doesn't stay on? HeatherRourke, You can find a lot of parts on Amazon. Bill
  12. Yes it looks pretty empty in the view on google street view. That could change with a few randomly spaced cars parked around it. Get a toad. Bill
  13. I would first change the thermocouple per my poste above. Yes the burner tube could be cleaner and there could be some plugging of the orifice. The big problem is it isn't seeing the burner is lite and shuts it down after the end of the timed ignition cycle and displays the error. Bill
  14. Richard, Good luck with that. I looked at it on google street view. You might get lucky and find enough space to park your rig but I wouldn't put any money on it. This is a classic example of why I don't leave home without a toad. You give up to many opportunities to go and see and do. Bill
  15. I am going out on a limb here, but it could be the thermocouple is bad. That is the tube glowing red in the picture (over the burner) or better known as "that little stick thing". This is what tells the control board that the flame has lite. The continued clicking of the igniter makes me think that may be the problem. "It all stops and the fridge goes into the error" this is because it is not geting the signal that the burner lit. Bill
  16. Like Ernie said, the slide motors take a lot of "juice" When you try the slides are you on shore power? My owners manual says to have the engine running to operate slides. Bill
  17. You can try this. Switch the harness unplug the one that works and see if livingrook works with that controler. Bill
  18. This is generally called a baseplate. They are specific to the car, year, model, all affect the fit. The brackets connecting to the coach is the towbar. There are wiring harnesses that you can use to connect the lights. You will need a auxiliary brake set up like a Brake Buddy. Like Kay said you can find towbars and break systems used for good prices. I would tend to recommend a new baseplate. They take more abuse and are hard to find that will fit exactly. I found a 10,000 pound rated Blue Ox bar and a brake buddy on craigslist from some people who had sold their RV. I had the towbar rebuilt and certified by Blue OX at a FMCA rally for about $30.00. I had the baseplate and lights added as part of the deal when I bought my 2014 CR-V. I personally like the Blue Ox setup because when you arn't towing you have to look closely to see the setup. Let us know what you find. Bill
  19. That will do it but, I was thinking the on/off switch on the fridge. When you turn it on, to try to get it to run on propane that it is not on auto but on propane. What I may not have been clear on is you don't need the batteries to be fully charged if you have shore power. The converter will produce all the 12V power you need to run the circuit board/controls. Try making shure propane is selected and see if you can hear the igniter and or the valve open. Bill
  20. Didn't make it through Stark last summer but was in the area. Drove across just south of you on 2 to Newry and spent a week exploring the area. Nice area. So it worked on 110 when plugged in? Ok this is going to sound silly, do you have propane? Can you light the stove? Sometimes it takes a while to get the air out of the line going to the refrigerator. The burner will try to light but if it doesn't will shut off after a set number of tries. You have to turn the main switch off and try again. Look and see if there is a valve on the propane line just before the fridge. It could have been turned off for some reason. You should be able to hear the spark igniter trying to light if you go outside by the fridge. People with good hearing say they can hear the gas valve opening. That is something else that might be stuck from setting for a long time. You could try taping it with a screwdriver handle if you can't hear it open/smell propane. If you are plugged in to shore power even if it is 15 amp you should have enough 12V power to power the refrigerator. Bill
  21. Lets start with some more info on your class A. Like make and model and what chassis it is on. Just so you know, if you add this info to your signature you won't need to type it every time you have a question. It will help you to get better answers quicker. Look at Wolfe 10s signature as an example. Bill
  22. What year? Have you looked at the FMCA guide? Bill
  23. That is a great area. Not far from Lake Winnipesaukee, where they have a great wooden boat show every year. We generally stay at Newfound Lake. May be there in a few weeks. Bill
  24. Follow the links that Wolfe10 posted. It is easier than trying to explain how it works. But no they don't ship you the tires. I suggest you look at the Continental program. I used it not long ago and saved over $100.00 per tire over the Michelin sale price. Where are you located? Did the fridge work on propane when you bought it? The tune up is a good place to start. Bill
  25. Welcome to the forum. Have you tried EBay? Bill
