  1. Carl, in Main, Mcdonalds sells lobster rolls. Bill
  2. Well I don't do the all you can eat places as much but I haven't found a bad place of the ones we have been to in Providence on Federal hill, like Siena, or Camille's. If you want old school try Aunt Carrie's it is a 1920s era clam shack at,1240 Ocean Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882. Bill
  3. This is what the OP said. Hope we hear back from the OP. Bill
  4. I looked it up it is sold by Eternabond, the tape people. Their site wouldn't open the MSDS sheet so I could see what was in it. I just never heard that term used for solvent. Well actually I am qualified to do that type of fiberglass repair. This might be a good idea as it gives the OP some idea of cost and options. My main concern is what did they do to stick the edges down to the plywood sub structure. Will the edges stay down and not separate even with the RVArmor over it. Bill
  5. That is amazing. I would bet if you measure the difference between the major manufactuers for this tire the differences in diameter will be more than 1.1inch. Why don't you adjust the stop in your steering so it can't hit the airbag? Bill
  6. Spooks535, do you have a generator? Have you been able to run it? It probably uses the house batteries so you might be able to use the switch that connects the 2 battery systems together (with the coach running) and start the generator. This will give you the equivalent of shore power. Richard, with out 12V power the gas valve won't open and you won't get any spark from the igniter. Yes just like the water heater if it doesn't ignite after a set number of tries you have to turn the main switch off and try again. Spooks535, Don't try to light the water heater till you have water in the tank, but that is one more thing to try when you get set up. You need 12V for this to.😄 Bill
  7. I realey don't see that big of a problem. The 275/80 is 1.1 inch taller. It also turns 14 rpm less in a mile. This is handey for comparing tires https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Bill
  8. What is this winterized thing? Bill
  9. Roland, You are leaving just as the weather is improving. We are talking about going back to the Ford Museum on our way East this May. Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. Like Kay said without 12V power nothing works. Once you get plugged in you may find the fridge will work because your system should pass 12V power to all your 12V requirements and charge the battery. Check the water level in the battery's. Bill
  11. The best way to repair this would be to take that trim strip off. clean all the sealant off the joint(I assume there is a joint under the trim piece). I would sand about 3" on both sides of the joint. Then apply a fiberglass repair to the joint. This will get you a lot closer to the original height and the roof will drain better. What is your skill set? have you ever worked with fiberglass? Have you ever done fiberglass repair using resin and fiberglass cloth or matt? I would use acetone and a scotchbrite pad for cleaning the surface. I have never used EternaClean and don't know what a "hot solvent" is. I would definitely use acetone resistant gloves. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself I would look for a place that repairs fiberglass boats and see what they would charge. Bill
  12. Welcome to the forum. Yes a professional inspection is always a good idea. Bill
  13. Just a heads up for those reading this latter, earlier someone talked about overnighting in Palo Duro Canyon. Yes you can but it's a long way off the main roads and the campground is in the bottom of the canyon. The road in/out is intimidating to some and probably an hour out of your way. I like Oasis or Overnite RV Park or Big Texan RV Ranch. For those on the cheap you could look at the truck parking behind Big Texan. Bill
  14. True, welcome to the forum and thank you for your service. Bill
  15. I know you go East on I-40 for a while, where do you turn North? What roads do you use? Bill
  16. Where are you headed this weekend? Bill
  17. Welcome to the forum. Bill
  18. Joe is right. There are as many ways to do it as manufactuers. I am not shure I have seen any 2 the same. Bill
  19. I am glad they are back open. They had been closed because of flooding. Congratulations on the new coach. Bill
  20. Tell me about it I made reservations last year for this year in Maine and Ithaca NY. Some places like the Grand Canyon are hard to get good reservations period. Bill
  21. Keep your serial number handy, you will need it whenever you talk to a Cummins parts guy. What site did you use? https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html This is the same site the dealer looks at to find information on your engine based on the serialnumber. Bill
  22. You know they sell an adapter so you could refill the small bottles off a bigger tank. Lots of videos on youtube. Bill
  23. I have to ask who came up with this? That is about the dumbest thing I have seen in a long, long time. There is no rational reason to do roof that way. They could have A) gotten a big enough piece of fiberglass. (What do they do on a 45' coach) B cut the parts so you run them across the roof and fiberglassed the joints together. Done right you could not see the joints and it would be as strong or stronger than one piece. Is the covering on the outside of the chanel fiberglass? Bill
  24. The only complaint I have had with the Colman I have is the wheels started to get wobbly so I tightened the screws/axels up. Well ok 2 minor things. It tends to be realey hot even with the burners turned way down. The new ones have 3 burners and may give better control. I just use the small cans of propane and don't think it uses much propane.
