  1. Yes I love the old wives tale that ice cubes will clean your black tank. Here are a couple of videos on dealing with your black tank. I seriously doubt you will have as much agitation in your tanks as this guy gets and it doesn't look to good for the ice cube method. Bill
  2. Both you and Carl are right. Now all we need is the Op to get back to us. Bill
  3. Kay, did you use a sealent like this? https://www.sika.com/en/solutions_products/industry-markets/transportation-market/special-vehicles/caravan-motorhomes/01a008sa04400.html Astomer butyl sealants are a good choice for bonding. Bill
  4. My incident happened in Miles City Montana. We were headed west on I-94 and were going to spend the night in the KOA in Miles City. We decided to get off on state 12 which is a nice road and check out some gas stations and follow it to the campground. Right on Main street at state 94 there is a underpass under the railroad tracks. The overpass is 11' 5" and the warning signs start where the road starts to dip down. I was lucky as I stopped and no one behind me ran into me. there is a road to the left that you can use to get over the RR tracks not real smooth but doable. You can save all the excitement by coming in on state 94 on the westside of town. After geting setup we went out in the toad and hapend to go back under the bridge. Traffic was bad because someone had a class A gas coach stuck under the bridge up to the front AC unit. Bill
  5. What area will you be in before you head home? Most large RV parks usually have some storage. I would ask around as you travel. Bill
  6. Bill, nice rig. I did see a rig last month at a campground who had a auto leveling system and it did seem to make setting up easier. Bill
  7. What was the ratio in the 92? You can change out the gears fairly easily by finding a used 3ed member and just doing the swap. Bill
  8. Dan, tell them they are losing business to Michelin by not offering the same range of tire sizes as Michelin. I have just bought 8 tires from Michelin because of their current policy. Bill
  9. Joe, if there is room to move them inside that would be the correct answer. Can you get the OP a picture of how yours are routed. Bill
  10. Yep that would make me say unpleasant things about the engineers that thought that was ok. First, when looking at the pictures I see a couple outher things that trouble me. one thing is the self drilling screws holding the support to the lip of the beam. I would replace them with appropriate length hex bolts with self locking nuts then cap seal them to prevent chafing on the nuts or put the head on the top and the nut on the bottom. The water lines could shift and chafe on the sharp pointed screws. The next thing is, what are the 2 big threaded bolts/studs with no nuts on them holding? They also look like a potential chafing point. Next tear off that foam where the hoses go into the coach it isn't sticking to the coach or doing what it was supposed to do. We can replace it latter. Can you get a picture of the lines with the slide in? I have some ideas on how I would insulate it but would like to see what it looks like with the slide in. Bill
  11. Mike, welcome to the forum. Pictures would help. Bill
  12. South is a large area. Any specific leads? Bill
  13. You realise this post was started over a year ago. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum. Where are you and where is home base? Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. Is it a hydraulic system? It may be low on fluid. Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. Have you tried to plug it back in? Bill
  17. Carl, Herman is right. Richard, I don't think PPL tries to find issues but passes along what customers find. I would rather hear about issues weather it is a real problem or a perceived item or not realey a problem. Fixing a problem or negotiating the price might quicken how fast you sell it. I have not heard of verrey many complaints about PPl considering how many people are doing business with them. Bill
  18. Like Carl said, "Call FMCA, then ask for Member Service, they can answer that for you". Better to get it from the source. Bill
  19. deemeehan, welcome to the forum. Kind of strange that all that I posted came from firsthand experience and backed up by the TT posted rules at https://campingpass.thousandtrails.com/contract?qs=4Rule Can you enlighten us? Herman is always spot on. Bill

    Tire upgrade

Welcome to the forum. That is not that radical of an upgrade. It will give you a little overdrive of 5.6%. You can compare different size tires with a tool like this. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Bill
  21. Eric, welcome to the forum. So are the batteries off? Both sets? Were they on before/did you have 12V power before? Have you checked the batteries with a voltmeter to make shure they are charged? Bill
