  1. Are you entering your "control number" at the pump? Bill
  2. So why haven't you "updated it" with your information? What coach and what toad and what brake system are you using? Bill
  3. That looks nice. I haven't stopped there but have been up in Sault Ste. Marie. Bill
  4. You need this card. https://www.rvpluscard.com/ Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. Like Five said check the manuel to see what it says for that year and model. Any CR-V after 2014 can't be towed 4 down. Bill
  6. "Not to be a trouble maker," Well yes you are. Give us specifics What RV chassis maker recommends against polyurethane bushings? Have you used them? I have used them in a couple of applications and the ride is ALWAYS better. Bill
  7. Ok do what you want but the Polyurethane bushings last longer and work better. Bill
  8. Interesting I have been in both Lebanon, NH and Boston MA in the last couple of months. ☺️ Bill
  9. Carl, when you stand in front of FANEUIL HALL look to the left. The alley/street going down the left side is where the NPS office is on the building to the left about half way down. We went in to use the restroom and found out about the free tours. 😂 Bill
  10. Yes, I replaced with mine with Polyurethane bushings. See the post below. Bill

I would check with the park service to see what the conditions are. https://www.nps.gov/yose/blogs/fireinfo.htm Bill
  12. I would recommend you get an all wheel alignment done loaded like you were leaving on a trip. What size are your tag tires? Bill
  13. Danheinemann, welcome to the forum. I think it is easier to use Gasbuddy rather than driving through towns looking for cheap fuel. 😃 I am on a short trip North East. Diesel prices tend to run a little higher. Lowest so far was in VA $2.869 to $3.369 in NY. I managed to skip PA where I saw prices over $3.67. I think I have done fairly well with a average cost of $3.144 so far. Bill
  14. My guess is there are much better discount programs for the commercial accounts than available to the general public, much better than the Good Sams program. Bill
  15. One thing I found fascinating was tours of old Boston https://www.nps.gov/bost/planyourvisit/guidedtours.htm Look for the RED LINE it is a actual red line in the sidewalk you can follow to many historic sites. https://www.thefreedomtrail.org/ Bill
  16. Please explain what miss information I am giving out. What I stated is absolutely true and correct. A 10,00 lb rated towbar will have more reserve strength whether it is used in a 5000 lb receiver or a 20,000lb receiver. The main core subject of this thread is that aluminum towbars can break. So tell me why you think it is smart to use a minamaley capable tow bar or one that has a good reserve strength. Bill
  17. My reasons for not using a A frame. 1. to hard to hook up nearly impossible by myself and if not totaley strait and near perfectly level. 2. If not driving a jeep it may not be possible to find a baseplate that would work. 3. I want my towbar to stay on the coach. "all these fancy ones that cost so much and have to be rebuilt" I have bought 2 different Avita bars used for under $250.00. I had them gone through by Blue Ox as a precaution and it covered the annual maintenance. This also zeroed out the maintenance hours. All tow systems need annual maintenance. Bill
  18. Welcome to the forum. What speed and rpm are you running when you try to downshift? Bill
  19. I always recommend geting a towbar that is at least 10,000 pound rating. That way you can tow nearly anything. If you start with a smaller bar you don't have the reserve strength and larger safety margin. Bill
  20. I think Richard is correct. Frost is a good indicator that the door seal is not working right and letting moist warm air in and the cold air out. Bill
  21. Do you still have it and can we get a discount? Bill
  22. No, actually it doesn't alter ride height what it alters is how high the coach sets. Ride height refers to the height of the body over the suspension. This is controlled by valves that are adjustable. Bill
  23. The limitations of tow vehicles up through 1 Ton as stated above can be overcome by upgrading to a Medium Duty Trucks (Class 4-6). Bill
