  1. That is a most excellent job. Till you blow the pictures up they look like the floor goes under the wall. I know that took some time and craftsmanship to do. Bill
  2. The time delay has more to do with giving the AC compressor time to bleed down the head preshure so it will start easier. Switching with a load on can damage the ATS. Bill
  3. Let's check something. I just got a new RV PLUS charge card today and had to activate it. This card looks a little different as this one is more yellow in cooler and the old one was more red. Probably no big deal but what I did find was when you log in click on the card management heading that should take you to a screen showing all the cards issued to you and their status. The interesting thing I found today was the control number on the card didn't match the one listed for the new card. You can edit the number to reflect the number on your card. You do that buy clicking on Update Control#/Status this allows you to change the control number/pin number plus click on Activate to change the status. Five, I would double check that the information is correct and showing the pin on the back of your card and active. Let me know what you find. Bill
  4. Well I do like to taste ice cream and visit creamery's. So far have been to Tillamook Creamery in Tillamook, Oregon. Ben & Jerry’s Factory in Waterbury, Vermont. and Blue Bell Creameries in Brenham TX. Where they make the best ice cream in the country! Kay, that looks good. I didn't take pictures but the pancakes at Hash House a Go Go were bigger than that plate. They claim they are as big as the steering wheel on a tractor. Bill
  5. Well to bump this thread back up a little. Had to go to Plano Tx today for doctors appointment. After that decided to get some brunch and looked around Plano (it isn't like there aren't lots of places to eat in Plano) and found this place Hash House a Go Go. Who could say no to a place like that. www.hashhouseagogo.com. Bill
  6. Yes but I have never seen or heard of adapting a flex fan to a rear radiator Cummins like the Op has. Bill
  7. You might look at Summit Racing, they have heavy duty fan clutches and hi flow thermostats. Makes me wonder if there isn't more to the OP's problem. I hear about them not working and basickley be free wheeling but not locking up. Bill
  8. Try PPL motorhomes, they have a big parts department. Why can't you drill out the 1/8 hole so you can use a 3/16 rivet? Bill
  9. One outher thing I recommend and do is start a file on your computer and keep track of all the part numbers for anything you replace. Oil filters, fuel filters air filters etc. this includes the generator. I also have a section recording when and what was done for maintenance. Things like last fluid change on transmission. This makes it easier to look things up. Bill
  10. Yes that would be the best way. Basicly finding the ATS isn't important unless it quits. You can't do anything but make shure you connections are tight(annual maintenance). Do you have 30 or 50 amp service in your coach? Do you have a load center that shows how much amps you are using sometimes only when on generator or less than max power. This is also a load shedding tool in my coach so I don't draw more than the available amps. Bill
  11. You may be able to get some gutter extensions to help with the problem. The stain problem is probbabley just mineral deposits or oxidized paint off the roof. Bill
  12. Richard is right about loading your generator. However without knowing what coach (it isn't in your signature) I can't give a more accurate answer for your coach. My coach defaults to the generator if it is running and plugged into shore power. One big tip is to turn off heavy load items like the air conditioners before starting the generator. You want to let the generator warm up a little before adding a heavy load. You could also damage the contacts in the auto transfer box. The same when you are done and going to shut it down, let it run with no/low load before shutting it off. Bill
  13. Let us know what they find. Could be several things, hard to troubleshoot without hands on. Bill
  14. I can't see anything on his post but the text??? Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. I think it is better to do a all wheel alignment. You should be loaded like you are headed out on a trip. The reason is even if the front is correct if the thrust angle on the rear is off it will cause wandering and be harder to drive. Bill
  16. No, tell us how you realey feel. Yes they have over sold the "you need a degree to make it" mentality. It use to upset some of the new engineers they hired at Lockheed that a lowly aircraft mecanic was making more than they were. 😁 Seriesly All the big/better places are busey, REV Group RV Service Center in Alvarado is full and I bet there is a wait to get in TCC and MHofT are busey and only Carl can get right in. So I think there is plenty of business out there. Bill
  17. Like Carl, l I think the switch with a red indicator light above it is for the block heater. But I think the vent on the driver's side by the kitchen sink is most likely your furnace. Easey to check just turn your furnace on and see if it is blowing hot air. The one in back is probably your water heater. Take the cover off and look. Some of the combo washer dryers don't have a vent to the outside. Bill
  18. You better call them now. Don't expect to just show up and find a spot. If you do it will probably be closest to the tracks. Bill
  19. I have the Surge Guard 34850 portable. It has saved me several times from plugging into bad pedestals and being portable I can check outher power pedestals without moving the coach. What a lot of people don't seem to understand when they talk about surge protection for their coach is, low voltage is what causes the majority of the problems in coaches. I would bet the OP's problem was caused by low voltage not over voltage. Bill
