David, Glad they got you back on the road. See I told you TCC was the place to get it fixed. Bill

Are you talking about the FMCA 95th International Convention, March 7-10, 2017 in Arizona? When you register you will be given a arrival date and when you arrive the parkers will park you in your spot. Bill

Gorm50, I run Diesel Kleen I do tend to add more than the minimum recommended. Bill

You have got to get out of that paint barn and quit sniffing those paint fumes. Bill -
Only if I can watch. No on second thought I couldn't watch. Bill

I will loan you my Sawzall. Bill

Dan'l, What year range are you looking at? One of the first things you might do is go to PPL and download the booklet 8 mistakes to avoid when buying a motorhome. Most coaches come with a queen or short queen bed. Simple way I used to add some length is to stuff a couple pillows between the mattress and the wall. Or just buy a coach with a king size bed. Bill

So far that is the plan. Bill -
I just use the Diesel Kleen white bottle. Hard to think about winterising when it was 90 today. Bill

The Crockett Hotel is great because of the history, or the Omni La Mansion del Rio where you can sit on your balcony and watch the tourist and the boats on the river. It's not to late. Bill

In a few short years you get to correct that mistake. Bill

Without knowing the temps it would only be a guess. This is why a good infrared thermometer is an important part of my tool kit. https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=laser+temperature+infrared+thermometer&tag=googhydr-20&index=industrial&hvadid=91332820709&hvpos=1t1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2021920202882703851&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9027284&hvtargid=kwd-138791814781&ref=pd_sl_35fx6crinv_b Bill -
I second the LED upgrade. I had to drive after dark for the first time this last trip and found I had 35 mph headlights. I finally found the lower fog/driving lights and that brought it up to 40 mph. The new LEDs do a good job. I was in a friends jeep and they worked great. Bill

Welcome to FMCA and the forum. I will offer some observations and advice to both you and spikesfam. I personally don't full time. I do tend to take extended trips and know many who do full time. First I would highly recommend you go read everything The butlers posted and linked to. They do full time so I would defer to their personal experience. Figure out what your budget is and what you can spend monthly. Start looking at used coaches, places like PPL http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/ ,have a good selection and you can see the floor plan you can look and see what coaches have sold for in the past. Here are a couple of other places to look. http://motorhomesoftexas.com/, http://www.mhsrv.com/ http://www.rvtrader.com/ Go to a couple of RV shows/dealers and look at floor plan and find the one that works for you. Sit in the coach take your time get a feel of how it is laid out and how well does it suit you. I am not advocating buying new but it is a good way to see many floor plans and experience them so when you see a floor plan diagram you will have a reference. Always look at a coach with the slides in at some point as you want to be able to move about, go to the bathroom, get to the refrigerator with the slides in. If you can't move on in your search. galladanb, Look for a storage place, covered would be nice or possibly a campground that has storage, most have a lower rate for storage. It would be a good idea to have that lined out before you buy. Plan now to have a Towd. 4 down is the best way to tow, but if you can't you can use a dolly. I don't like a trailer as they are to hard to move by yourself if you need to. Yes there are people who don't have a towed but you give up 65-70% of your experience and ability to explore and add a huge hassle factor. If you want to go to the store you have to unhook everything and store it and re set up when you get back. Plus parking is never going to be easey. Financing anything 10 years old or older is probably not going to happen. I missed several great rigs because no one would finance them when I was looking. One thing to do is if you are going full time (selling the house) you need an exit strategy. Some day, hopefully not for a long time you will need to leave the full time life stile. The time to start planning for that time is now. Thats a long enough list for now if you have any questions please ask. Bill

Ok what was the outcome of the vote? Bill

Best bet is they used a cheap mylar tape and it didn't hold up. Bill

I did the 5 year renewal before the increase and saved enough to have Blue Bell on my cherry cobbler. Bill

If Michelin has some competition they might give us a better deal. There are several levels of "advantage" programs and we are not at the biggest discount. For example I was quoted for a 275/70R22.5 X2A2 energy $538.99 Same tire quote from Advantage program $499.53 That is a $39.46 savings. Keep in mind I just saved $43.19 on a tire for my CR-V that list for $163.85. I think there is still some room to trim prices on the bigger tires. Bill

2003 Monaco Cayman 36PBD Kitchen & Bedroom Slides Will Not Close

The other thing does your coach know it is level? In Carl's case the adjustment was off on the auto level so the coach thought it was but it was torqued a little. We had someone at 6 State who was having a problem with his auto level. The passenger side was about 3 in higher and it said it was level. Try making sure it is level and that will eliminate one possible problem. Bill -
Wintering Out West...Say Cody,WY...Or Gardiner, MT?
wildebill308 replied to MLnDavo's topic in Full-timing
Well the OP hasn't been back since the end of last February. Last coment, if you want to freez your but off fly up to that area and go play in the snow then go back where you can go outside without risking frostbite or hypothermia. I lived and worked outside all winter in that kind of weather. You don't see me there now. Bill -
You should, Unlike some others I won't offer to sell you used ones or scratched off lottery tickets.

Looks like a bit of mylar tape used to tape the sections of duct together on the inside of the duct.

Camera Or Mirror For Front-End View Of RV
wildebill308 replied to rkbcmoyer@aol.com's topic in Modifications
Welcome to the forum. Looking at the picture that is a severely convex mirror. That far away it would be hard to see much in it. I can see the sides of my coach using the existing mirror set up. I have convex (wide angle) mirrors on the bottom and regular ones on the top. I am still trying to figure out why you need to see the front of the coach. Bill -
That looks like a nice coach. Just check the dates on the tires. The V-10 is a good engine. Keep us posted. Bill
