  1. Lets hope you got your coach fixed too. Bill
  2. If you are wanting to get home quick I would take Route 76 to Route 80 then East to 90. As you know I-90= The Mass Turnpike West. Bill
  3. The reason I said 10 years old is after that it is hard to get financing. Speed wise on the flats not much different. The problem is it is hard to compare a gas coach to diesel as the diesel will weigh more than the gas coach and have bigger tanks, fresh water, grey and black. I travel at 65-68 much faster and mileage gets pretty bad. You should also know most 22.5 tires are only speed rated for 75 some only 65. When looking make sure you check the date codes on the tiers. You can have lots of tread on a old tier. You ought to add replacing all the tiers if they are more than 7 years old (can be a negotiating point). Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your new coach. If you add it to your signature it will help to get you better answers to questions. Bill
  5. I would start by looking at the websites that Herman and I posted. You will get a better idea of what coaches are selling for. I would be looking at coaches less than 10 years old. Bill
  6. Herman it is 61 this morning in ABQ. Bill
  7. So what is your point Rodger? What does the cost of a Jag have to do with buying an older RV? I could buy a new Bentley Bentayga for a toad but what does that have to do with financing a 10 year old or older coach? Bill
  8. I am still inclined to believe that the big mud flaps are put on for cosmetic reasons and are detrimental to protecting the toad. They create a low pressure vortex behind it causing more dirt and debris to be directed into the path of the toad. I have been watching different coaches as they go down the road and watched one pull out today that even aired up it dragged in the gravel. I think it would take some time in a wind tunnel to prove disprove it works to protect the toad or adds to cooling of a rear radiator coach. I think the barriers that run parallel under the tow bar may work better. Bill
  9. Go read my earlier post. They also have RV specific program but I haven't tried it. Bill
  10. When you buy one it is "NEW" to you. I wouldn't hesitate if I found one that I was looking for and the price was right and my inspector said it was a good one. Why wouldn't you if you are saving enough money. Bill
  11. Look at the stem of the valve when you move it. Make shure the valve is moving and not just the handle. Get a mirror and look behind the panel and see how the pipes are routed and if there are any other hidden valves on the fill line. Next question do you have water inside when hooked up to this fitting? New coaches are always fun. One thing you will need is a good water pressure regulator. Bill
  12. If you fix us some good ribs and brisket, we won't care if you have a head say nothing about hair Bill
  13. We have been using CoPilot and like it. You can down load maps when you have wifi so you don't use as much data when on the road. I have it on my phone and tablet. Having it on the tablet gives a bigger screen than the usual gps products. There is a RV function so it is good about keeping you off bad roads. Bill
  14. I don't see why not as long as it is front wheel drive only. Bill
  15. Look you caught someone trying to get into your coach. Bill
  16. Ernie, are you going to be at The 6 State rally? Bill
  17. Yes but "Bill-Jo-Bob's Cheap tire and Bait Emporium" always has the best prices on bait even if it ain't the freshest smelling.
  18. Here are some coaches to look at http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/diesel-motorhomes.php Like Herman said motorhomesoftexas.com is a good place to look. You can often find a used luxury coach cheaper than a new lesser quality coach. Bill
  19. The only campground that I have stayed at before on this trip was the one in downtown Little Rock. The other 35 (so far) I had never been in before. You just have to ask when making your reservations. Bill
  20. See, what did I say. Looking good Ernie. Bill
  21. Welcome to the forum Keon. The question becomes what year is your new coach and what is the finish on it now? Is it painted or fiberglass with decals? How much is your budget and would a good polishing and detailing make you happy. I would call Texas Custom coach and see what they say. They are just West of San Antonio Texas 10498 State HW 16 S, Pipe Creek, Texas, 78063, Toll Free: 888-761-4225 http://www.texascustomcoach.com/ Bill
  22. I would also look at http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ to get a idea of what other people say. As noted Tom would be a good source as they winter in the area. Bill
  23. I don't have a full width mud flap on my coach and I cannot see where I have acquired any meaningful damage to my toad from towing it behind the coach. I have picked up a couple things when just driving the toad, saw and felt them. I have been keeping a pretty close eye on it since new. Bill
  24. I would expect if anyone had a nice interior it would be Ernie. Bill
