Catalytic converters theft is very common as well as stealing gas at park and ride. To steal a catalytic converter one person find a truck easy to get under and cut them out with a battery powered saw all with little or no noise.

I think advertising 21 security cameras and 19 were fake should open a way for a lawsuit for all expecting security. I have better luck at my home and barking dog.

That was so nice of the manufacturer to put it where you can't reach. Hopefully you relocated it.

If you traveling down the road with only 1/4 tank freshwater it will be sloshing back and forth allowing the pump get airbound. Once airbound it may stay like that until after you level the coach. For that reason I always fill the fresh water tanks when traveling.

I believe you can but driving it will overwork your alternator. You may have to go to a bigger alternator.

Getting the coach ready for snowbirding again and the awning is not working like before. This time it decided to stay broke so I went back to the dash and traced the problem to the motor wiring harness. It is a two wire harness with one red and one black wire. The wires reverse positive and negative 12v power depending if you have the switch on extend or retract. The black wire is dead like an open circuit. That harness is about 10 feet long and travel up and down the scissor arms where there is a nasty bend at the bottom with the awning retracted with the arms flat. Rather than to cut the harness open to find the break I ordered a new harness. I'm hoping to find the splice right inside the outside wall. At that point I will verify that the black wire is good at that point the splice it for it to be inside the wall. I also found the air dump quit working. No power to the solenoid, fuse is good. Had to go inside drivers console and check the switch and wiring. The two ground wires were tight but the two 12v wires was loose in it's holder and not making good contact. I fixed that and now have air dump again. I hope that will be all as we only have five weeks till blast off.

Freightliner service told me every two years.

I sure hope you are right.

We stayed at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station RV park on the base so no worry there. But we did travel over the bridge to Padre and Mustang Island by car. There so many isolated areas once you turn left or right.

The story is all over the tv news today. We stayed at same places as this couple in TX, not anymore as their killer wasn't caught.

Verizon versus Sprint
huffypuff replied to chuckconnie's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
I have a sprint phone with unlimited plan with 60 gb to tether per month. I tether my phone to my laptop when needed for business on the road, works great. -
This is what it look like.

The rocks is actually a metal sculpture called sun reflection or something like that. We picked it up at Desert College near Indio, CA. The house looks small from the front but it's got another level below fully open to the back. House is 2,500 sq feet.

Here is after the SRX4 was done and it made the paint look new.

I bet one bottle will do 3 motorhomes. My one bottle done the car twice, the pickup once and the motorhome once including the wheels.

I imagine that spraying the side with the ceramic wax mix and hosing off will be lot easier. I'm hoping to keep clean with micro towel on a stick between treatment. Thank You. Wasn't hard work at all except my 66 years is making me feel it the next day.

2015 Lincoln MKT Transmission failure
huffypuff replied to bhalldorson's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Ford transmissions on the newer cars are very touchy with a little off programing can trash the transmission. The replacement transmission has to have all the solenoids numbers programmed into the computer before it's ever put into gear. That is online with the programming tool to the Ford website. The AWD PTU is lots of problems also. -
Looks nice is all about I can say as I can't afford the payments on something like that. Congratulation.

Took a couple of pictures today after the ceramic wax and wheels cleaning. Not bad looking for a 14 year old coach. Starting getting it ready for snowbirding You can see brilliant reflection on the back and sides.

For the chassis you can try this link. https://www.brazelsrv.com/Service-Documents/2004-Chassis-Manuals

It worked well for the car and truck of preventing them from sticking in the first place. I haven't driving the coach yet in bug country or during the bug season to tell. Best thing for you to try on one of your smaller vehicle and see how it works for you.

I put it on the coach today and took me the better part of the day as the first coat is the base coat. Looks impressive and I actually seen some fine tree branch scratches disappear. After the base coat recoating every year or so is pure magic.

I use the Meguiar Hybrid Ceramic Wax on my car and pickup and very impressed with it. It is so easy to apply that I'm going to do the coach next. I'm including a link about it. Only cost about $20 and can do about 8 cars.
