  1. Richard, call or send a mail direct to Dan...could be a long time before he gets back on.
  2. $4,500...that's stiff. It was blue!
  3. OK...mine is 23 cu. ft., that aside, I don't recommend a Norcold 1200! 🤮
  4. Ray, I have the same switch. Did the same thing! RayIN, good idea! The power washer I keep in coach is not powerful enough, but the one at the house is & I will do that tomorrow. We'll be home late today...5 months on road & 13,000+ miles!
  5. You might have a loose ground wire.
  6. JLMacy, Sorry about your trouble. Suggest you call FMCA and speak to Dan Ball, Director of Customer Service & Marketing.
  7. Welcome! This is a new one...we have plenty of answer's for gas to residential. You do realize that you will loose 50% or more of your capacity? I would follow Brett's advice & call Forest River, Tech Dept. I'm not familiar enough about 5'ers to advice you further!
  8. US Hwy 50...1926 to present. US Route 66 is not a coast to coast, it opened in June 1926 and closed in 1985, went from Santa Monica (LA, CA) to Chicago, Ill. US Hwy 50...1926 to present.
  9. The weakest point is where it's connected...I forgot the color of the loctite, but you have to be able to undo it in the event you damage a wheel.
  10. I had the Tyron installed on my AC 45, they came loose and destroyed my steer tires from the inside...$2,400 for set of 2, made in UK for military vehicles! This looks like the same thing, just from Australia & not UK. They are both made from an Armor company...I made a call to UK, spoke to the Warranty Dept., nope sorry, it's made for the military not camping wagon (their name for motorhomes). Buyer beware & get all the fine print, before you buy!
  11. My last set of Michelin's, 315/80 steer, 295/80 drive & tag...they lasted 2 month's shy of 5 years! June 14, I replaced all 8, with BF Goodrich 315/80, now have over 7,000 miles on them & will never pay premium for Michelin's again...BF & M is the same tire, M is advertised so you pay more, BF is not. $3,000 diff in price! Hankook, Toyo, Kelly, Continental, all good tires for our application!
  12. I took 620 off the Blue Ridge Pwy, thinking it was a short cut to Salem. Figured that since the 18 wheeler in front of me could do it, I could...that almost ended in disaster! My 45' coach don't articulate as a logging truck does and it became pea soup fog, half way down! I got on the BRP coming out off Galax, VA. My friends was placing bets on me not making the golf rally in NC, when I rolled in!!!
  13. Welcome! Next time your going down a long hill, manually downshift, if your passing OTR's your going to fast. You should know that.
  14. Yes! I know, he also asked about pro & con. I might also add, the WB Horizon 2020 is not available yet.
  15. Thank you Dan for clarification! I will do as Wayne & Jim...TSD, simple, efficient and no $$ is tied up. Also, most of our travels are in South Central & NW USA.
  16. All 3, nice places for a visit...the RV Park can get nasty, when there's storms in area!
  17. Ray, same with the sweeper...both have been around, since the early 1970's...have used them on gas units, never DP's.
  18. Welcome! The Beaver Brand, Country Coach Brand, was high end coaches up to 2007! To compare them to a WB, is like Cadillac to WV Bug. There is none! IMHO I would remodel the Beaver! What year is your chassis & engine? You probably don't have Particulate filter and DEF was added in 2010 to 2010 built engines. I'm guessing that yours is a 2006, CAT 400. The last Beaver made was 2010 on a 2006 chassis...Beaver went Bankrupt in 2007. Country Coach was the first to go in 2006, but used the last of it's chassis for the 500 & 600 hp Veranda model in 2010. Have you made contact with Beaver in Oregon? They specialize in remodeling & selling used Beavers!
  19. WBill, not quite, but close...I don't remember the gang of 11 leaving, but I woke up in the right coach...we where staying at the Roadrunner RV Resort in Red River, NM. That was 2007. I also remember a $63 per shot...ugh. Just because it's expensive, don't mean it's good. 🤮 Since Brett goes to Angle Fire, he may have been there...food is great.
  20. DD69, Like your idea...I got 3 to change out, one young man with a strong body and the same equipment at home..18 foot I-beam, steel rafters! Then Linda told me, the Fork Lift, I keep forgetting she has one, is good for 17 foot & 3,000 lbs.
  21. Me too & they now have one that work with no air coach. I've had them all, this is the best by far!
  22. Gulf Stream is still in Nappanee, Indiana. I would send them an inquiry. They still stock from 1971.
  23. One is debit card...no thanks! I read and understand. It was OK until the caveat about using it for other purchases, besides diesel...then it became a possible liability. Banks don't protect your assets on a debit card, if lost or stolen!
  24. DB, what brand Tequila? I used to drink Herraduro white & Don Julio white...never gold. There's a bar in Taos, NM that carry 93 different brands...Oh what a night that was! Hic,
  25. Labor alone, would be astronomical. It would be a lot cheaper to fly over, buy an older coach and ship it to England. My cousin wanted to keep his boat, a 34 foot Rib, when he moved from Oregon back to Sweden...Total cost $9,300. He had the engines removed before shipping & shipped separate for $4,700, but saved over $6,000. Same boat as a USCG rescue craft.
