  1. It doesn't, strictly bling that's bolted in place!
  2. That's good to hear, it looked bad from here! Then I got the large hail warning!
  3. Probably since you have 1500 listed, it just defaults back.
  4. Byron, thanks, but I know all off that. We had no place to leave the coach, since we where on the road. At $221,750 Retail, it's about $180-190,000 wholesale and I would be fine with that...$125,000 is ridiculous! MOT was the Gold Standard, until it changed owner & the Motorhome Guru, made a "how to buy a used coach commercial there!" Last year... Joe, that's the Stupid barrier! You can put fake ferns in it...GRRRR!
  5. That non-attention, is some how our fault. When I tell her, "GPS is wrong & I'm not turning here!" She goes into overdrive...then later, when she finds out, that I was right. She goes into a pout...no more words, for a blessed 30+ minutes! Linda can't stand it, that I have a photographic memory... Until someone, like your DW asks her for some direction or where we stayed 3 years ago...I tell Linda and she passes that on, as if she knew!
  6. Galveston Island, same weather. current 62 & wind, drizzle, no fog. Unless it's August, you'll have wind on TX coast. Wayne and Brett, has a bad weather system right now, with big hail.
  7. Ian. They will, just make sure you call. Very popular area, all year! When your there, take a drive to Port O'Conner.
  8. I use World Goggle for roads and towns, that we will be on/in. Linda keeps a file of RV Parks and if it's on our route, she will call ahead. As Ian, if it's in a popular area, we call up to a month+ ahead. She also has apps for Park review. Big Rig friendly. Joe, you need Truckers Atlas! This Forum is also a big help, in locating places & campgrounds, from members that live in area! I'll be using Forum for our trip to Montreal, Canada and New England area, upon our arrival, back in USA.
  9. Bruce, new toad? I hate this test...If I ever pass it, bring the little red cup. We'll have a party!
  10. HealthyGranddad. Welcome to the Forum! Call FMCA Customer Service and ask for Don! Also, FMCA RA service rep will be in Perry.
  11. Wayne. The wall I'm talking about, is about 30" high by 36" long by 12" wide and it's between the slide wall & drivers seat...it's a permanent, fake, planter! The same can be found on the new Foretravel's and the H3 Prevost ! As Linda said...STUPID, dysfunctional, BLING ! We are now on Galveston Island at Stella Mare RV Park...plan is to clean & pack at my house, to put it up for Sale, by April. Can't park the rig by the house for more than 3 days. We leave for Perry March 9. Unless we find something in Perry, we will do a re model of this coach!
  12. Oh well, going to Perry...it would be a PIA to circumvent AL! We'll be leaving from Galveston, TX. and take I-10 to I-75 !
  13. We looked at a 2006, with a CAT 625 & ZF 10 speed. A 2005, with a Cummings ISL 500 & Allison 4000. A 2003, with a DD 500 & Allison 4000. A 2012, with a Cummings 600 & Allison 4000! All, have a wall between back of DChair & Slide out...neither Linda or I could fit & drive in them!
  14. Ian. Pioneer RV Resort, has been mostly re built since Hurricane Harvey blew it away. By next winter, everything will be back to normal. Have been to the old one, many times for Rally's and your just behind the dunes from beach! Everyone has their own opinion's on RV Parks/Resorts...try one, try 2. 3. You'll find the one that the 2 of you think about each year!
  15. I have not written about a bad, greedy, dealer before and hope I never run across an other! Linda & I went to Motorhomes of Texas today, we had an appointment to look at a coach, that we hoped would fit our life style, a used Newell 45'! No fault of the dealer, that it's only for short people...if your over 5' 6", forget it. You can't get in driver seat, I tried and my knees was above the steering wheel. So we looked at other coaches and found a 2014 Mountain Air 45', by Newmar that we both liked.... Then the joke, I know what options I have in my coach and I just put on a new RV Armor roof...I know NADA Low/High wholesale value & the same for retail, as of January 2019. The Owner came back with a $125,000 value for a coach without any options, refused to go inside my coach, cause he new better! Then he upped the sales price of the unit we where buying by $20,000...said it had the wrong sticker on it. I will not set foot in Motorhomes of Texas, ever again!
  16. Your right..there's more coming! Makes one realize, the Ice Age, is still retreating...one foot forward, 2 back!
  17. Byron, little early to be there now! Not to mention cold, deep snow... Richard, where you live, is not a place that a sane man would spend winter! Ugh..
  18. Probably cold enough, to make B Clinton's Cigar, a nub! We got the furnace on...39 in am...again!
  19. Ray. If your switch is part of the control panel, then it's behind the panel. I have 2 switches, but only one ground.
  20. Since there are 4 different lengths and floor plans, it would really help to know what yours is. Due to the awning and compartments, on the passenger side, your only choice would be on the driver side, unless you have the full wall slide. Then you only have the rear to work with! Until we know what you got....
  21. Byron, don't forget the "Indian Paint Brush's"...they to are LB.
  22. We have had mid 70 days and low 70 nights X2, Current is 71 & dropping back to 46 in AM...TS every day/night for more than a week...I'm growing web feet & feathers!!! Quack, Quack! We are in Rayne, LA.
  23. It's Mardi Grass, until Ash Wed. March 7...
  24. South Plains Cummings, off Loop 610 East Houston is great. Wayne, I know that area well...you picked a fun time/place to park! I lost my low coolant sensor in Ruidoso, NM and drove it to Dolores, CO., then to Perry, GA., I disconnected it in CO. REV sent a new one and I connected it in Perry....there's a Post on it here, between me and Brett mostly!
