Refrigerator replacement, 2002 country coach magma ,
manholt replied to Scott89128's topic in Type A motorhomes
Our in house fridge & Freezer gave up the ghost 5 months ago....everywhere we looked, there was none in stock and delivery was 2-3 months out. Instead of Amazon, I went on line to Alibaba (Amazon's biggest competitor) and ordered a 4 door fridge by Whirlpool 29 cu. ft.....$435 less than here and delivered to house in 4 days!!! 😃 Almost all brands are now owned by China! 🤬 -
My last 3 DP's had the Sani flush system for black and grey tank. Never heard of it for "fresh water use in a coach!"
-
Keon, you punching a clock? Don't they wait in line to die for you anymore? 🤣

Herman, I gave up on the "Hard" stuff in 2013. A glass of red wine a day, per my Doctor is good. At 78, I take no prescription meds! 😁 mimipa, any auto parts store should carry them, including LED's! Wall Mart included along with Amazon! RayIN, in 2014 I changed out all my running lights and most interior lights to LED's on the AC Tradition. I got them from Alibaba for less than $100....think they'll last longer than that coach! dons2346, had that problem on my 2007 WB Tour! Fun...

Good point. What did you get?

6th might be iffy as we come in with AIM as a group (43 last week) 30A, FH. Why no BYOB? -
Having had the FMC 2900R, 440 engine in rear, 1973. What Bill, Kay, Wayne wrote, will work fine...I used 12" w x 16" L x 2". Kept the fridge happy!

I see double post.
-
Herman, there are 2 different lengths for each side, a short one and a long one. Even if I could find my receipt, it would not help OP, my old coach & current is a 45' chassis!

LOL, he took the wrong bridge!

I would go with contacting KOA. Last thing I would do in a gas or DP is get front and/or rear off ground. -
DB, give the nut a couple of drinks! As long as the loss nut is not affecting the handling of coach....forget about it. I got one in my coach also, Co-Pilot. 🙃

Opinions of Fleetwood (Expidition especially) quality?

I also is on my second...and agree with FIVE! -
My Avatar picture was taken from here and replaced me on Face Book! Been trying to undo that for a week....

Crawford Radiator or Pharrs RV, would be my first choice!
-
There should be a fuse panel in the bay below the drivers window!

Welcome to the Forum! There is no "One size/length fits all!" When I had my last coach, a 45' AC Tradition, I had to replace 2 hoses, so I did them all....cut 6" longer than each, of the old hoses! The shop that made the new ones (Schulenburg, Texas), had a phone # to some short/thin Mexicans! $200 off/on.

I know folks who tow one & drive one, all over the US....no big deal. Joe, we may get to PA by end off Summer, Alaska was cancelled yesterday! We will do Alaska 5 June 22.
-
IMHO, I would go with Kay on this...no separate switch required. In the dark, you'll have lights on anyway!

Traveling Gardnerville NV to Framingham MA
manholt replied to C-921500's topic in Route Planning & Road Conditions
Hi, welcome to the Forum! Would help to know, type and length of RV? Freeway's or secondary roads? 6 years ago, I took US50 across to I-70E to Denver in a 45' coach (not the 47' I have now), with a JK Toad. I will do US 50 again. -
Alaska trip is thru Fantasy Tours, they do all the planning...we just show up & pray the border is open in July! The other part is Lufthansa away! My family lives in Norway & Sweden....no Hotel needed.

Keon, Welcome back! You might want to look at Pirelli tires or Bridgestone for your Soul. Hankook or Continental for coach! Good Luck. Joe, your not going to toad your Mustang, are you?
