  1. Been there, nice place! Ahhh, warmth! We are out off the freezer and in the fridge here now!
  2. Like most everything else in life, nothing is what it seems to be at first glance! All my corian (it may not be by DuPont, their Patent ran out in mid 1990's, and is now made by dozens of Companies World Wide) is 3/8" thick, including the bull nose, the underlayment is marine grade, 1/2" to 5/8" thick! corian or the look alike is just as strong at 3/8" as 2"!
  3. Wonder why we are getting doubles again? Joe, I must be missing something...all I see is the fluid glass, not the cap.
  4. Eddie. Price of Corian is $45 to $68 a sq. ft. installed. I guess it's a California thing to be 300% higher than the rest of America. So, by the quote above, if I apply it to my coach, I'm looking at 15% of my coach total worth at time of purchase! I took a rough measurement of the corian in my coach = 230 sq. ft.
  5. Roland, good show, DW's can be a laugh a minute. Honestly, glad you found the problem. Where are you at? Last I heard you was in -10 temps!
  6. Eddie, One nice thing is that the aluminum is just as durable as the corian at a fraction of the weight. Is the wood under the 3/16" steel, marine grade? It looked like it to my eye. In witch case you have no worry about wet rot, I would put a couple of coats of clear waeritain ( darn spell check) on it.
  7. Lionhouse. I have one question: After spending a good amount of money on this trip to Fantasy Tours, they did not or are not able to give you, a peace of mind information? In other words, a day by day itinerary, a clear understanding of avg. temperatures for day/night, recommendations of what to bring with you, when your on your own, breakfast, lunch & dinner, entertainment, side trips, etc. Fantasy Tours have been around a long time and make 2 Alaska trips a year, a short one and the long one. I have played golf with the owners, but never had the time to take one of their tours! I would not do it for Alaska...been there, done that, but I'm planning to take the maritime provinces, next Summer (2019) with Linda!
  8. Kurt. Call Monaco Tech Dept. They probably have your cap! Yes, they went South pre 08, but the parts are still available.
  9. Richard. That looks a lot better, great job for little cash! bm02tj. As you said, your in Canada...your under the UK International Standards! We are not. Yet, our Standards are also recognizes Internationally and Richard will have no problems driving around the beautiful country of Canada...if he so choses! Richard if you do go to Canada, leave the Scotch and Whiskey, along with the gun at home!
  10. Mypopslou. Welcome back & your absolutely correct. I got mine listed on several other post's, dating back to 2013 on this Forum! I guess one more time and a short version is not going to hurt. When I was a 24, I went to the Los Angeles Auto Show with my father, so he could droll over his next Buick! I got board and wandered around until I stumbled over a 1967 Winnebago, it was $8,300 at the Show, so I bought it, got it the next day and drove it back to Harvey, LA. and left it in the yard to the company I worked for...I was Oil Field Trash. I lived in it for 17 months, cost me $20 a week for 15A electric and water, my relief paid me $25 a week to share it and then after 17 months, I sold it to him for $8,300! I spent the next 7 1/2 years working in the North Sea...dreaming about coaches and been buying them ever since! After coming back and moving to Texas, my work schedule was 28/24...suppose to be 28/28 but it took 2, 3 days to get back to work...had plenty of time to travel. Been retired now for most of 32 years and have yet to be board traveling around this beautiful country we all share! My spell check is Chinese!
  11. Bill, you're still having a party, with your little red cup? Poor little thing must be all worn out by now!!! Herman, I looked at one an hour ago. There is a slot in back, turn and pull and the blade part comes off....problem is to find another blade part, it's a discontinued model. The new one is $14 more and shaft is mounted horizontal. Why cant you remove the Girard all together and wire in another brand...Like $24.95 & does the same thing?
  12. Herman. Try that junk yard your always advertising!
  13. Would be nice if the law was the same in Montana, then 3 million+ RV's would legally have no tax plates!
  14. Herman, have looked everywhere and the only thing I found is "Girard" lies a lot, but then I think we all know that.
  15. Herman, take a picture of the photo and download direct. Or send him one by email!
  16. Yep. You want to find it before you need it. Crawling around in sub zero weather is NOT on top of my wish list..
  17. Sorry Tim. That's a first for me. Nothing is ever exact, but it gives a general, visual idea. I used to use the part time and full time Generator parking, 27 years ago, was the last time. It was always in the North, South, East or West 40...meaning, you was a long ways out there. We have excellent tram service, so it's never been a problem getting around. If this is your First Convention/Rally, don't forget to come in with full fuel & water. Empty holding tanks. You can get water and get sucked out by Honey wagon, it's expensive and no guarantee they will get to you ! Enjoy the moment
  18. rc. Take a regular volt meter reading of your batteries, one at a time...the old fashion way! What are the Amp reading and voltage reading?
  19. Dan, welcome! We need more info! Mine is hard wired and I have a on/off switch next to my Aqua Hot switches on my control panel. Most of the time, its a plug into 120V in your engine bay, by your start batteries, if you have a Diesel Pusher!
  20. What happened to the OP? Herman, this is not, nor is every other Post an advertising spot for a FMCA rally! If we are to stay on topic, then there is no exceptions...is there?
  21. Like a car, it should all come off the ground at the same time!
  22. Will, I wish you well and hope you have many more miles of travel and enjoyment. If you have any issues in the future come back and we will do what we can to help!
  23. Easiest way to find that, call membership Services at FMCA 1-800-543-3622 M to F, 8 to 5 and ask if they can download the parking map for Perry 2016 to you ! It will be the same.
