Linda told me, hers also would all off a sudden come on...found a crack in the door, Duck tape fixed it...Dyson fixed it better!

I have no problem understanding, why some OTR drivers can't stand us, coach or trailer! Most owner/driver of a RV don't have a clue and should not be trusted with anything bigger than a Civic! Even that is debatable!

Got tired of messing with mine, so I got a Dyson Stick on sale at Low's. Linda got one for her coach also, then the house and my Dyson Ball now lives in the shop! Both our (she has a 40 foot Phaeton, DP 350 Cat) central vac systems are in the other shop!

Diesel Motorhome MPG-- Honest Answers Please
manholt replied to luckydog1949's topic in Type A motorhomes
Since I also run with gen on, I turn my AH off, get plenty of hot water from engine. I turn mine to diesel for showers, electric for dishes. Only had the AH on one time for furnace while driving, got caught in Ice and Snow in Utah, 3 years ago! 54,300+/- pounds + toad, 45 foot American Coach. 6.2-6.4 avg. mpg. -
F94273S. Welcome to FMCA and the Forum! If you have your fathers cast plate, just paint a small S and use them!

Wayne. Probably Snail speed & it's amazing how many people there are that don't know, or have that sixth sense of how wide their car is...now their in a RV! Good luck! BillE. If your hauling the long trailer...you can have some fun!
-
Herman. That's a real good thought.. Here I thought you said your brain was a little simple!

Common sense and courtesy, got replaced by "me first"! Time to add bleach to the gene pool and get rid off "Stupid"!
-
Tom. Coming to your ex Gander will be trailers and coaches for sale...think CW. Ugh!

Your a Eagle...I'm a Tradition. TCC found that my solar panel was not hooked up...just a coil of wires! Thank you Allied. Yours is also a 2014 !

USAA will insure your furniture, etc in a storage unit and it's reasonable...also, whoever you go with, get a separate umbrella policy. All State and USAA is $40 per million, per month. Cheep !

Yes, loss ground at the starter switch was my problem. Did the Tech look at and check the terminals to see if they where tight and none corroded? Make sure your getting a good solid and tight ground connection at starter batteries...bare metal contact.. A lot of coaches do not charge start batteries from inverter/converter, charge house batteries only. I suspect yours is set up like mine. Both Fleetwoods! I have a separate trickle charger hooked up to start batteries with a 15A extension cord. There is a Solar panel on my roof, but it's only hooked up to my house batteries (8)!

Pedal power bikes or motor? I have used a sail (sailboats) making shop in Clear Lake, Texas for years. I give them the dimensions and they make me canvas covers for anything. BBQ Pit to Bikes and Motor cycles! Very cost effective and water proof !

Call another company. Compare rates, do not fall in love or friends with your agent !

Rich, they have 4 slides and it is a HWH system. As Herman said, the contact switches under the slides, inside bay doors, will prevent slide from moving until the switches are closed. Had the same problem on my Allegro Bus! They could also call the REV group, tech dept.

Welcome to the Forum! Magnum is on as long as you have power...I have 2 inverter/converters, 2,800 each and the management system is on as long as you have a charge in batteries or until you have batteries disconnected. In your battery bay, you should find 2, 300A disconnect switches. One is for house and one for chassis (starter). You also, might have another switch in engine compartment...mine is behind starter batteries. When all are turned off, your whole coach is dead... Better to get a solar panel with a controller and start your generator once a month to exercise it, take it all the way to full load and run for an hour...that will also charge your system!

My engine is a 2009 and has the Particulate filter, when it goes into regen mode, my # 1 and 2 exhausts heats up to 1,200+ to 1,400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes and only works while I'm driving at 55 + mph! Therefore I'm a tad concerned about having open LPG.

Why One Place For A Whole Season?
manholt replied to wildebill308's question in Destinations/Attractions
casuall454. Everyone ages differently. Only difference in travel now as compared to 20 years ago, is the distance I can and will comfortably drive, also speed that I drive has decreased. -
That's been around for a long time, Joe. If I remember correctly an inventor in Australia came up with it, but got shot down by big oil and the auto industry. He got an unbelievable mpg and was paid off to quietly go away! RSBill, if you want to go like a bat out of H, use Nitrous Oxide! Kay, right you are! The only problem with ethyl mercaptan is that it leaves a dark oily residue over time. FIVE, I know, you have a all electric coach...not to sure if the LPG system would be compatible with any engine built in 2007 or newer, due to the new EPA standards!

Why One Place For A Whole Season?
manholt replied to wildebill308's question in Destinations/Attractions
I will not spend more than a month in one place, most times it's one week to 10 days. Love the mountains in summer and fall. Michael is right about Texas! Wayne, your right about going back...each time there is something new to see or do. -
