Jim. I'm Texan by choice. Also American by choice! Swedish/Norwegian by birth and blood...born in Sweden! Complicated.
-
Attwood ! 6 & 10 gallons. What you mean? No power to coach or none to water heather? Have you checked your hot water diode?

A generator will give you exhaust fumes! I have not smelled any such thing from my Aqua Hot. $970? Made of gold? WBILL. I remember now, had one parked in front off me at Indy....that thing was very loud, but it did do the job for the Generator! As far as AQ is concerned, I would call the manufacturer and get their opinion in wrighting!

Roland. Your right. I don't expect to keep this coach, more than a couple of years more...if that long! You get what you pay for...I was looking at $2,400+ installed VS $4,100+! For your needs, it will give you years of trouble free service.

Lucky Puppy 2. Welcome to the Forum! It cost more money than it's worth to remove and apply. Just another piece of Bling! You don't see it on cars or OTR trucks. My coach is 7 years old and it lasted 5, now I'm looking at $3,000 to have it removed, it's no protection against Love Bugs or other flying insects at all. When they came out with full body paint on coaches, I used diesel on front...no bug problem! Would like to know what year, make coach you have?

How To Stop FMCA From E-mailing Advertising?
manholt replied to alflorida's topic in General Discussion
Call FMCA 1-800-543-3622, I did...it stopped for 10 weeks, now I'm getting them again...I'm calling tomorrow. I have a big hammer now, National President Jon Walker is parked next to me! -
Anybody Going To The RV Show In Quartzsite Jan 2018?
manholt replied to punxsyjumper's topic in Let's Meet Up
RSBILLEDWARDS comes to mind, I think he spends 3 months or more...I guess it's "One mans trash, another's treasure"! I like solitude, but with a Mountain/green valley view! My coach don't breath good in dust...found that out after a 10 day stint in Rocky Point, Mexico! -
John. Been there in a 32 foot Southwind, very tight fit. Recommend you drive inn with your toad and camp outside the Park. Last time, in a 36 foot Allegro Bus, in 2014, I stayed at Mariposa KOA...I would do the same in my current 45 footer.

That's why I went to Home Depot and got a brass ball valve to replace the plastic POS. HRJimmy. Good. What was the answer? So we can help the next one!

What is a gen-turi? Aqua Hot does not smell, if it does, it needs service!

Roland. I got AGM by NAPA last year, 6v at $239 each. Since I have 8 of them, I'm happy. Just make sure your ah is close or the same as you currently have. At the same time I also got 2-12v start batteries AGM at $289 each by NAPA.

Jim. Don't know about Hill Country. We are at Durant, OK., KOA 54 mornings and 80 day, very dry and sunny! I'm seriously thinking of buying some acres in Montana and make it my domicile, not for taxes or license fee, but because it's the 3rd largest State and only has 1 million people! Texas would be our second home and used in winter!
-
Maybe. He/she could be busy buying a new coach !

Centramatics are great. Most OTR truck tire shops are good...Just stay away from Camping World Tech Dept. Buying parts is OK, have someone else install it. I know nothing about the "Bead Bag". However, it leaves a lot of un answered questions in my feeble mind...

WBILL. Wayne has an identity problem!

Campgrounds When Evacuating Ahead Of Hurricane Irma
manholt replied to wildebill308's topic in General Discussion
WBILL. I wasn't sure if you had gone further South yet. Irma may change your plan some! From it's current position, I would not be anywhere near the Carolinas, or coastal Virginia. Probably Georgia also! -
Wayne. I know you have a lot on your mind right now! You really should get spell check.

Campgrounds When Evacuating Ahead Of Hurricane Irma
manholt replied to wildebill308's topic in General Discussion
WBILL. Good info! I would head as far North West as possible in the 5 day's allotted to me! Looks like Irma is going to make Harvey look like a step child...that is one big storm! I don't know where your at for the moment, but you need to think about going West ASAP. -
No it's not !

I have learned over the years, if they say something is bad, I want to keep it until I can determine if it really is bad.
-
A lot of folks do the crock pot in the sink for 6 hours or more while driving ! Been doing that since the early 90's. I even wash clothes while rolling down the road.
-
Thanks Rich. It was not ! Been there, done that and have a wet T- Shirt (looked good on me 40 years ago)!
-
WBILL. I resemble that remark. Rex, there are States out there that have grouped commercial and recreational together...so the tags get real expensive for 99% of RV owners, unless your among the "1%'s" ! I will agree on new/used coach tax. Now, for complete honesty and integrity if you want Montana or Oregon plates, then go there and buy a place and claim it as your resident, in other words live there. Then claim your current home as your second home/vacation home! If you live in Calif., your in for a long uphill battle! Otherwise it's 6 months to a year (I think Nevada, it's 5 weeks)!

OK. I'm in a 45 foot, American Coach Tradition, with all electric and I have 2, 2800 Pure Sine Wave Magnum Inverter's, each requiring 4, 6V Golf Cart batteries ! That's why I question the 6, 12V = 12, 6V batteries.
