  1. The best coach, hands down, that is for sale right now (unless it sold in the last 5 days) belongs to Brett Wolfe at $77,500. That's a steal for a 2003 Alpine 38' ! Carl
  2. They where designed for OTR trucks, yet I have never seen one with them...Have seen 2 Class A Gassers with them. I have not read any after the fact, feed back on the Forum !
  3. Where is your generator? As Joe said, he has a Roadmaster chassis, one of the best...it is on HR, Monaco, Country Coach...hard to beat.
  4. OK. Understand. What year coach are you considering?
  5. Kay. Wow, some coach! All I have seen is the little pic. this is an honor and would love to see the inside! A real beauty! Carl
  6. John. Welcome and congratulation on your new purchase. Have fun and enjoy your travels with your family! Carl
  7. Shell Rotella ! In Engine and Generator ! Works for me. Carl
  8. Sandy. I'm real partial to Texas Custom Coach aka Custom Coach Work in Pipe Creek, Texas. 1-830-510-4224 Dave Miller is owner...at least call him and explain what you want. They do fantastic fabrication and it's hard to beat $80 an hour. Don't let the rate fool you, they would be just as happy to do (and they do) a 2 million dollar Prevost Conversion. I have all my work done there! Carl
  9. Roland. Other than the ride, do you like your coach? You know what I have now...I did not get it because of the ride. I have had gassers and DP's that I had a ride issue, but always got it taken care off by replacing the sway bar with a heavy duty kind and putting a Safe T plus on the front. Solved the turbulence from truck and wind...also made sure I was not overweight on one side or other...balanced load and correct tire pressure to load ! Carl
  10. Unfortunately, we can't prevent all accidents from happening. What we can do as we grow older, is be aware off our surroundings and remember we are not spring chicks anymore!
  11. BillA. All I said is that I have another source for hot water while on the road...I did not say or imply that my Aqua Hot ran off the Inverter. I don't use the electric side unless I'm on a power pole !
  12. I sincerely hope that your DW is recovered from her illness and you can travel again soon !
  13. Good point ! I would go with BillA's advise on I-80 to Hwy. 191N in Rock Spring, WY. Safe travels. Carl
  14. If you have the SilverLeaf system, make sure that what you get is compatible! I made that mistake.
  15. 2,000 Volt's? Yea, that would absolutely light up the neighborhood and you! I leave my Aqua Hot off while driving, get hot water of engine. Brett is right. Carl
  16. Barry. Welcome to the Forum! Since your on Will Call, I'm coming in Monday before lunch. When you get your packet, it will tell you all you need to know! You will be directed and helped from that point on. I suggest you look on main FMCA site, click on conventions, then Chandler. You'll find a map with full information on how to come in and where to go for Will Call. It also, has an overview of the area. Carl
  17. Tom. Very good information and warning! Carl
  18. Laying down oil pipe lines, has been booming in that part of Texas and SE NM for the past 12 months, no end in sight as they now are starting to drill again!
  19. Call Legacy Coach in Rockdale, they have a Service dept. next door, called Luxury Coach Service. Carl
  20. Blake, I'm on my third coach now, with a residential fridge. 2 like yours and my current 2door. Have never had one open while traveling...like in the house, unless you pull the handle. The seals are a lot better than Norcold or Dometic! Carl
  21. What are you towing and with what?
  22. Blake. Your correct, but I doubt I'll be on Forum before the event ! If you can find the glasses after June, I expect them to be expensive. We got ours! Carl
  23. Since the day time temps are finally in the 60's and sunny, we are going to see what we can find today at noon. Have another Brett Seminar after breakfast. Most of the Diesel Club members are staying until Sunday, before going to Chandler...it's a 120 mile run, that takes 3 hours on a good day! Carl
  24. Blake. Between the floor and the fridge, you have a great looking coach. Now, when you get it home or before, have Action check to see if the top and bottom of doors latches (4) are plastic or metal ? If plastic, replace at once! Carl
