  1. Then, you could also use HP 3% instead of bleach, I do that twice a year...I don't like to flush out perfectly clean water, just to get rid of the bleach smell and something that can send you to the hospital. I also, have a water hose on a reel. I take out most of hose and pour a quart bottle in the hose, connect to faucet and let it run thru! Takes me 20 minutes, twice a year to completely sanitize my coach! Don't forget, you can use HP 3% as a mouth wash and gargle. It kills bacteria, not you!!!
  2. Welcome again, but this time to FMCA! See, you got everything for your custom (Danish) cart/car...
  3. My coach came with a Whirlpool Gold 23 cu. ft. S/S and draws 6.5 at start up...7 years old, and no noise!
  4. Joe. Bet that was fun! Well, done... What happened to the wine glass?
  5. billnagle. Welcome! What do you tow? What kind or make, brake system do you have? Would also be helpful to know make and model of coach? All information that is used for a diagnosis too Original Poster (OP) , will be useful to all others that have the same question in the future. Carl
  6. Bob. Your a RV, not commercial. You have no problems, Carl
  7. Bill. You need spell check, badly ! bigkelly. Welcome to the Forum! What are you planning to tow? Also, what is the tow rating for your coach? Carl
  8. Looks like a very nice site to me!
  9. No thanks, John! Don't really want to see that, while going down the road.
  10. Not what came to my mind at the time! But, it is working. Yes, I will have both checked out ! I also, got to get a new front TV installed, current Sony is held up by gorilla tape! Carl
  11. It also could be wired to one of the radio or TV speakers! On mine there is a separate on/off switch...it's been in off for 3 almost 4 years now!
  12. Both of you. Welcome to the Forum! I had the same situation on a 2009 Jeep wrangler. Tried it both ways, with negative off, I was able to start Jeep! With hot off, I had to re-program the computer...no fun! Then just by passing battery with roof mounted lights and using coach power...I had to jump start the jeep! Why? to this day, I don't know. Go with what the Ford manual say's! Carl
  13. Brett. Probably as you suggested. The only thing that does not work at the moment is the charger. I played with it this morning and now thinking that I have a loss connection or bad ground...Linda, before I could stop her, thumped both inverter/chargers with a rubber mallet. Inside coach it was charging at bulk 14.5 and 14.6, amp was 89 and 62, then started to drop off until both was showing float at 13. 3 and 13.1...it's still there! Women!!!
  14. Everything in coach worked and is still working fine. I just was not getting any charge on house batteries and heard a clunking sound from where my TS is at. Sometimes it happens then I can go 3 months with no problems! I'll have TCC take a look when I'm there next week. Yesterday, I had to start engine to get enough juice, to bring a slide in...after I got the inverters to work, slide went back out by just turning the key, no engine needed. Carl
  15. Did you have the front and rear alignment checked before installing Safe T Plus? It is recommended.
  16. What are the symptoms of a going bad TS? Also, does it have a relay? I'm on shore power now and found out yesterday, that both inverters were off. Started Generator and unplugged from post. Both inverters still off, then got a momentary green light, then off. Turned generator off and hooked back up to post and both inverters came on and is still on! Carl
  17. Right behind you, going in Monday to shop! Carl
  18. I got a dozen from a electrician, used 4 to hold my door awning in place, in Mexico. They where still doing the job, 3 years later...I just had the whole unit removed in February!
  19. Ian. Should be, go to Freightliner and have it fixed...OP may be 2nd owner. So much for warranty!
  20. Yea, and this post is from 2012...think the rug left a long time ago! I know, Brett...I'm in Time out...again!!!
  21. Wayne. I agree 100% ! No better deal anywhere else...unfortunately, with age the usage goes up exponentially, and therefor the cost will also go up, unless FMCA can water it down with a whole bunch of young members! The towable crowd that I know, that would join FMCA is all 60+! That's not going to help the cost any, that I can see! Brett. Sorry, but I think we have beat this Post to death. As for, "will FMCA open up to towables?" I believe that has been pre determined and the vote is to satisfy the Constitution as writhen in 1971. Therefore the votes will be tabulated and placed in the December issue of the FMCA Magazine. FMCA will have the figures in September! 3 month lag time on magazine. Carl
  22. 2 thoughts. Have you called the Tech Dept. at WB and Freightliner? WB's dash and chassis heater and instruments!
