  1. When camping, that is your space. Avoid walking thru another persons site. Have a Dog? Pick up the poop! Even in a rest area. As Byron said, your not driving a car so don't expect to stop or accelerate like one. By the time you get back home from your 240 mile trip, you'll know and feel at ease driving. Both of you need to drive the coach! No surprises if one gets sick and can't.
  2. Welcome! Nothing wrong with a gas or new coach. Your happy and that's all that matters! Any question, any time...someone will get you a answer. Carl
  3. Been there done that. Several times in my current coach with no problems! Keep your RPM's up by downshifting going up, you'll run cooler and going down I run 4th gear with exhaust brake on and flashers on! Carl
  4. I would call them back first thing Monday morning and ask for the Supervisor of the Tech Department. If that don't work, then send a nice letter with photo copies and certified, via snail mail. You will get someone's attention. Good Luck
  5. GMA. Welcome! When your on 50A, your house batteries should be charging. On some makes, like mine, it does not charge the engine batteries so you need a trickle charger for those. I had a automatic charger/maintainer installed, NAPA 85-300A-CA. I just plug a 15A extension cord into it and a outlet in my bay or campground post, when I'm away from my garage. It's attached to battery all the time. Carl
  6. I got mine. July 2 to 7. Came via email April 14.
  7. Herman. There is a 2006 Foretravel Phoenix there, that might be going to Galveston Tuesday!
  8. Had it been me. I would probably be in time out forever, due to what I would tell the moderator, what to do with a 4"X4"!
  9. Sorry, but the only thing I know about that is 26,000 lbs and a RV is a fifth wheel over all length. A DP rig goes around 47,000+ in a 45 footer and I know of no rig at 65 foot !
  10. David. Now tell us how you have had no big issues with your (can't go wrong with Newmar) coach. Devil made me say that, as I'm parked 4 coaches from you!
  11. Go outside and adjust mirror so that motor will be able to track R & L as far as you need it. Then take a hex wrench (3/16) and tighten the bolt in mirror. If it gets loss again, then put some Blue Lock Tight in and it will stay!

    Mattress

I have King in this coach. Yes it is shorter than my CA. King at home...both have sleep #....I used to have a Tempurepidic (can't spell today) at home, didn't like it, so it's now in my hunting camp in LA. Had a 2011 Allegro Bus and could not sleep on the Denver mattress that came with it...went to Sam's and got a 4" memory foam mattress, Queen, $300 and it was great.
  13. Welcome to the Forum! What is the make of your Jacks? They are the ones you need to deal with...not Fleetwood, they only installed the Jacks and do not warrenty them. You have a separate warranty on all none Fleetwood components! HWH is Moscow, Iowa (I think). Powegear is Mishawaka, IN. I don't know about Attwood.

    Mattress

What do you have now and what don't you like about it? I have a sleep number and it works for me! I've also had memory foam and was quite happy wit it. Have not heard of anybody being happy with the Denver mattress.
  15. I'm glad it all (almost) worked out.

    Flooring

Non better that I know of...he's very busy, so it may take sometime, but well worth the wait. Send him a PM on Forum and he might have a cancellation! Just click on his picture. Also, Welcome to the Forum! Carl
  17. Goldens. Welcome to the Forum! What make mirror?
  18. On a Prevost, you'll get no negative from me! That's what I'm looking for! I was referring to "Cookie Cutter" MH only! Any Prevost, MCI conversion, or Newell, is far superior to a Manufactured lets see how many we can build in a year coach!
  19. Joe, totally agree! The only thing I don't like is you have to subtract the cab and engine from total length.
  20. Lex. If your a fast driver, you need a sport car! Mine is a different make and model, but the same as yours. Country Coach had tag at 40', same with Monaco Dynasty, plus you get two of the best and strongest chassis made! Nimbus by Fortravel also has tag at 40' and up, another great chassis...non of those chassis wander in wind or 18 wheelers passing you! I'm on a Spartan K2 chassis, strong and dependable...don't hold a candle to any of the fore mentioned ! In 50 years next month, I think, I have had every chassis made for gas and DP! I'm looking to downsize to a 40 foot with Tag! Carl
  21. Never mind the Rep. You need to go back to a transfer switch. Why? Don't have a clue, but the system worked until you stopped using it... Carl
  22. Roland. I'll be at the same meeting, then Indy the 11th, 12th, leave for a RV Park in Clear Creek IN. We fly to Europe the 14th! Carl
  23. Another thought (cheaper) is that your start relay in your AC is sticking or going out. We had 2 other Post's on this in Feb. under Electrical.
  24. Update. I still have the rock guard on coach. At this time I have enough high ticket items to take care off...having my roof re sealed and everything up there has got to come out ! Also, removing Diamond Shield on front and use one of two other new ideas! I'll put that in a separate post. Have found out that if I want to add mud flaps to my coach, it would require a rigid flap between my drive axel and tag=$$$, then a flap after the tag. A little extreme, for this type of experiment...so, I'll wait on Herman to get NASA going on this project ! Carl
