manholt replied to FMCANationalOffice's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
So now, they need a Dolly. Typical case of right hand, left hand ! -
Yeah, I'll be in Chandler! Carl

Strats. I can't open it. However, I have found out over the years, that the manufacturer change a lot of things on the chassis they order after they get them in! Bet the round module you found is a dual....as Herman said, it's amazing what goes thru a module. Carl

Good show. Now you can get back to vacation or whatever, with peace of mind.

Strats, I would replace the module.

Just like Mr. Butler would say. I concur! With all the texting and abbreviations of words or a letter u, to mean you. We loss sight of the ability to formulate and spell. Carl

Just wanted to clear up something. Very few coaches had 30A in 1978 as most RV Parks only had 15 or 20A. Took a long time before they came out with 50A in Campgrounds! Carl

Brand New Unit: Found Crack In Roof Day After Delivery
manholt replied to djanderson's topic in Type A motorhomes
djanderson. Welcome to the Forum! How long and deep is this crack? You should not have one and I would take pictures of it and send a certified letter with copy of photos to Jayco! Service Dept. of Dealer or Factory? Dealer, will probably offer you a new unit, but will charge you the difference between used and new! Your coach became a used unit, when you drove it away from Dealership! Document everything tomorrow, get anything and everything in writing...you can't present a verbal commitment anywhere! Sad, but this has happened before and it can be a long process to resolve. I personally would take unit directly to the manufacturer! Carl -
Bill, your right, but it depends upon other factors. Especially if you have a big rig. Rim size vs tire does matter.

Wayne. I guess I left myself wide open for that one!
-
Wayne. If I had a coach like yours, with all the "small" gremlins you have had, I would have shot it or myself or both a long time ago! In my next coach, I will only have air... Your Quote, say's it all... Carl

Also depends upon BTU's, twin 13,500, or one 15,000 and one 13,500. Carl
