  1. I tried to get a figure on adding one to my 2007 Tour, in 2008 dollars, it was $16,000 and I would lose a whole pass thru bay! No! I have Aqua Hot in house also, runs on natural gas, also a smaller back up one that runs off Propane! We get Hurricanes! Carl
  2. Erniee, Blake...Looking great and I like the light, dark of the wood. I also was surprised, when I saw the OSB and not Marine grade! Looks like Monaco, like the other cookie cutters, cut cost by going on the cheap! Monaco knew they was having a financial problem in 2005, by 2006 they was hurting bad and then went belly up around 2007! Carl
  3. Goldstar. Welcome to the Forum! I'm sorry about the problems your having. 2 things, have your atty send a letter to the Insurance Co. Legal Dept. Also, call back FMCA, like other places that get a lot of calls, I have been lost on hold many times and I call again and get connected. Hope you get it resolved soon! FMCA is open thru Thanksgiving, but closed Fri, Sat and Sun. Happy Thanksgiving Carl
  4. Found it: https://community.fmca.com/topic/9408-paint-problems/#comment-65295 Carl
  5. Bill. Aqua, is water in Spanish....Hot, self explanatory!
  6. If I remember to remove it, I throw it in the wash...they belonged to my mother, so they don't fit on my foot...no mistake made! Carl
  7. No, it was after you removed the 3M Diamond shield and you wanted to paint the front due to all the chips!
  8. From Tampa, straight north on I-75 to Atlanta! Carl
  9. Joe, The coach next to me in the Park this weekend, had an interesting experience on the way here. His toads, driver side was bashed in and so was the coach and tow bar, a "no speak English", saw the toad and decided that he could get a drag of coach, by cutting in front of the car that had the spot he wanted! Both the police officer and Bob were fluent in Spanish...the driver had no insurance! Carl
  10. What is this, a traveling sock? I believe that Snow act's like a blanket and will help to insulate against heat loss! Joe, I do agree that Aqua Hot is moister, along with my other current problem, is that I have about 30 gal. left in tank...I will make a fuel station in Weimar, TX. very happy! Herman. Happy Thanksgiving to you, also! Carl
  11. If we ever hear back from Bill Edwards, he will tell you that it also depends on which type of clear coat you put on, as to how many coats you need...he's got a post on here with Joe, in regards to that..
  12. When I originally got into coaches, there was only one way to check tires, baseball bat and thump. Every time we stopped and before leaving in the mornings, rain, shine or snow, I would thump. I have TPMS and have had them on the last 5 coaches, but I still carry a bat and thump! Carl
  13. I got mine from NAPA, used to be Western Auto. My 2, 12V engine batteries are also AGM, got them from Interstate. Carl
  14. BillA. Making my 2 coats of clear shine! When you get your new paint job done...you can make it shine! Carl
  15. Wayne. That is very good advise! Takes most of the math out of the equation.. Carl
  16. Lucas Slick Mist...spray & wipe with microfiber cloth...I wash my coach with soap and water, once a year and use Lucas once a week, or when the mood strike, it's $7.98 a spray bottle at Wally World...I use a bottle, in 3 full coach applications! Carl
  17. I only use it when on Park power...I figured this morning, I was real close to using my diesel Aqua Hot. Needed it twice this August, in Ruidoso, NM. 29 and 31. Carl
  18. I have the same problem on my curb slide and do like FIVE...hot summer and cold/cool winter! Right now I have a sock in there! Carl
  19. Jim. I know that feeling real well ..
  20. OK. Now 34 degrees outside and 72 inside! Since the sun is coming up, it may drop to 33, but not for long enough to make a difference. Humidity is 91% and pressure is falling. Carl
  21. All those "cutesy" signs, came about in the 1980's because there was not many toads and at each FMCA and GS Convention, Vendors was making and selling them. By the mid 90's there was less need for the sign, almost every coach out there was hauling a toad...now, I very seldom see one with anything mounted on toad. Carl
  22. WBill. I'm confused and don't get it? Carl
